As for me, the only thing I am leaning against getting is the AT-TE Tank. I already have 3 of the EPI version, and don't have too much use for another at this time (or room for it). But if they do something really cool like pack in a red Battle Droid or a red OOM-9, then yes, I'll get one.

I'm definately going to pick up the AAT for sure, but that's cause I never found the EP1 versions. If there's one thing I won't buy, it's the Jedi pack.

I rarely should say never to buying something Star Wars :) However, I most likely won't buy the AAT, Gunship, or Anakin's fighter. The rest of it is a maybe at this point. I want the ARC Trooper and Sith Witch the most I think.

I'm actually going to pass on most of the figures except Obi-Wan and maybe Mace (we'll see how he looks). I laugh at the rest. If Anakin and Yoda appear in the opening scene of Episode III dressed like these guys, then I'll do some backtracking

I plan on buyng at least one of everything to open except for the Trade Fed Tank. I do not think it was changed at all for this release. If it has a new paint job like the Gunship or something then I will pick it up.

Come to think of it, I might pass on Anakin's fighter and the Gunship too. If they end up on clearance, then hell yes I will get them.
As for the figures, I haven't seen anything yet that I will pass on. I'm not too big of a fan of the ARC Trooper though. Looks too cartoony.

I would have to disagree with you on that one. I really like the ARC Trooper, and can't wait for it to come out. The one that looks cartoony is Durge. I'm sure he's going to be a bad ass in the movie (if he's actually going to be in it), but he looks like a GI Joe character in a Star Wars genre with all those weapons & accessories.

In regards to the main question at hand, you can't buy anything if they're never available. So, there's really nothing that I won't be buying, because it's not available for me to buy in the first place.

The ARC trooper I like the best for some reason. I think it's the skirt and shoulder pad. I don't know. I like it for some reason. Yes it's cartoony I'll admit but then again the CW is a cartoon and should look that way.
I know what you mean though. I may see it on the shelves (if I see it) and say heck no to myself.

The Sith Witch is another figure I would definitely be buying (if it's at all possible). And why would ANYONE want another Mace Windu figure? He should win "Peg Warmer" of the Saga series.

More than anything, it's the design of the ARC Clone that I don't like. I think they added too much to his basic armor and made it too unrealistic. I don't like the added on scope on the side of his helmet (too Fett-ish) and the skirt in my opinion is kinda silly. I do think the shoulder pad is a great idea, but that is really all I would have added to it. Not that it's Hasbro's fault, they didn't come up with the design.
I kinda like Durge. He will look great in my Outlander Club diorama I am hoping to get started on shortly.

Yes, Hasbro's design team has made a couple blunders when it comes to continuity. The ARC Trooper should have been a simple hybrid between the existing Clone Trooper and the pre-existing Sandtrooper. The skirt is a nice extreme weather addition, but the helmet is heading in the wrong direction with that external targeting scope.
Same with Anakin's Jedi Starfighter. In hindsight, Hasbro should have released a bland, movie-accurate Jedi Starfighter without all the EU bells & whistles for the Saga line. That ship, with its heavy artillery and opening S-foils, would have been a nice transition between the original Jedi design and Vader's TIE, with a little Sith Infiltrator influence thrown in for good measure.
As it is, Anakin's technical "ability" is undermined by a starship design that includes pod racer components and an astromech that sits right in his line of sight. Some pilot. ::)

Tough call for me. I get 99% of my stuff without ever seeing it. I find pictures don't do much justice, positive or negative, to my opinions. I thought the droid factory R2 looked pretty sharp in pictures, still not sure I'm going to keep it or even open it.
I'll likely pass on the vehicles and some of the figs. How many figs I'll pass on will depend on Hasbro's distribution. If it continues to right royally suck, I'll probably keep ordering cases. So long as they have better case assortments like 13 and 15 with relatively few duplicates. Otherwise ah'll be forced to rely upon the kindness of strangers.

I haven't decided if I'm going to be buying the Clone Wars figures or ships just yet. I'll have to wait to see them in person first. I will be buying the sets that would be canon to AOTC, like the various 3-packs of Clonetroopers and Droids. I'll probably wind up buying the rest though, since I'm a sucker for most anything Hasbro Star Wars. Hopefully I can at least get some of the funkier looking ones at clearance prices though! 8)

Jury's still put on the repainted Gunship, Jedi Starfgihter, Anakin's Starfighter, and Mace. Everything else is a go, provided Hasbro and the retailers actually make the product available to me. Especially Clone packs, hint hint, Hasbro.

The only thing I don't plan on buying would be the new Gunship. I already have two of them from the Saga series, and don't see a need for another one. But if KB Toys has them on sale again for only $10, then I will probably pick up one or two of them.
