Starting a thread for these... CollectionDX has a new look at the Stormtrooper (http://www.collectiondx.com/news_item/112414/movie_realization_star_wars_stormtrooper) figure.
I think the flint-lock E11 is my favorite part... he'll look great with the previously announced Darth Vader (http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN992046/Act) figure.

That is indeed awesome looking. What scale are those? Also around 1/12?

Info says Vader is 18cm (7inch), so a little big for Hasbro 6" scale but not too out of line for a bigger guy like Vader.

Seems virtually impossible that Star Wars combined with Samurai couldn't be awesome.

Just picked up the Samurai Vader tonight - too awesome to pass up and it will make for a very cool focus/niché display. Definitely getting a couple stormtroopers too.

Looks like Tamashii got the ok to release these domestically via their US distribution arm, Bluefin (https://www.facebook.com/Tamashii.USA/photos/a.939118276107338.1073742176.155435907808916/939118516107314/?type=1).
Might make them a little bit cheaper or at least give folks a second chance at picking up Samurai Vader and Stormtrooper if you haven't imported them yet.

These look amazing. But with an MSRP of $81.99 for the Stormtrooper and even more for Vader? I just don't know. but looking at that backdrop behind the figures at Toy Fair it looks to me like a Royal Guard is on tap for this line, too.

I saw the Ashigaru Stormtrooper and Samurai Taisho Darth Vader at my local Barnes & Noble today. The price tag was $95.95 for each of them. Still, it's nice to see high end merch like this actually turning up at a store.

Certainly a better deal than B&N. Personally though, I'm surprised that B&N is starting to devote this much floor and shelfspace to high end collectibles. And being able to find something like this at brick & mortar retail before you take the plunge is a welcome option. I suspect that more people might be inclined to spend that additional $5 for a Samurai Vader simply by virture of seeing it in person, or by making a more impulsive purchase.

Anyone else still collecting this line? I absolutely love it. With the higher cost I've only picked up four of the figures so far (Vader [Death Star Armor], Stormtrooper, Boba Fett, and Ronin Mandalorian & Grogu. I really would love to add the rest I'm missing.
I'm definitely bummed B&N no longer seems to be carrying these. To Nick's point from years ago, that made them a lot easier to impulse buy.
I'd love to see their take on the Bad Batch, Bo-Katan, or TBOBF Fett.
