Title: Bandai's Teen Titans
Post by: MisterPL on April 1, 2004, 02:23 PM
I just saw the 3.5" figures at TRU today. I'm not a fan of the show by any means, but I do like the characters. Unfortunately, I can't stand their Manga influence.

At $2.99 for a 2-pack, they certainly are affordable for a licensed product, and seem to feature more articulation than Mattel or Hasbro ever offered in their animated DC lines.

Anyone picking up these mass-market Happy Meal™ toys?

I found the 6" (?) figures at TRU today.

They're pretty neat, but Teen Titans really isn't my goblet of mead.

It's not Mattel, it's Bandai. They're doing their own thing.

As for scale, the only one that looks way off compared to Mattel's 4.75" scale figures is Cyborg. He's way too small for the small scale line and far too big for Justice League figures. I'm pretty happy with my Robin, though.

Yes, Slade is on the way. Check out the latest Toyfare magazine for a pic.
