For the last couple of years we ran an informal poll with your 10 most wanted characters from the current Star Wars Films. Continuing the tradition and trying to finish up before Comic Con 2006, I thought it would be a good time to revisit those lists. Here's how it works: You send your Wish List for 10 3 3/4" Figures to me or post them here, be it new figures, resculpts or even re-releases and I'll tally the votes. After four weeks of list taking I'll publish the results and we will move on to the next movie. The first Prequel Episode I:The Phantom Menace is first up. I really can't come up with ten characters from TPM. I'd just like to see some SA upgrades on previously released characters like Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon. Perhaps a well constructed battle droid as well.

Super Articulated versions of Obi Wan, Mace, Qui Gon and Darth Maul all with soft goods cloaks and tunic skirts, lit and unlit lightsabers and commlinks. A few versions of Amidala they haven't done yet would be good as long as they are articulated well and have soft goods clothes to allow movement.

Serious mental block with this movie, there just isn't that much I'd like to see from TPM.

(couldn't we do these as a modified Evo set? Call it something else but get that quality in a three pack?)
Battle droid that actually stands up
A well done Amidala or two - soft goods here as well, perhaps an Amidala evolution would be cool too? I suppose that wouldn't fit with the TPM specifically, but they could do a costume from each PT movie pretty easily as well. Articulation wouldn't be so necessary. But replacing that AOTC POS Arena Padme would be a nice think to do and the super articulation would fit with that figure pretty nicely. Do a ceremonial outfit from the first movie that would fit the soft goods routine for TPM; Arena SA Padme for AOTC and then an early (senate) Padme for ROTS (so she wouldn't appear so pregnant) in soft goods? Is that too much to ask? But I digress....
The aliens from this movie didn't do so much for me.

The Twi'lek Masseusse Twins almost beat Ephant Mon in Fan's Choice #3. SOMEONE must have been voting for them but they rarely rank anywhere on the lists
This just proves to me more and more how much of a sham those early Fan's Choice Polls were

The funny thing is, we'll probably see the Twilek before any of these figs on the top 10 list, since Hasbro apparently treats Fan's Choice nominees like half-empty beers -- never leave a soldier behind. :)
