Another day goes by and my team clings to it's 1st place position despite constant threats from the #2-5 guys.

The points are piling up, but my little squad keeps finding a way to keep me on top... 

I'm on your tail, only a point behind!  And with 4 players playing tonight, here's hoping I can knock the Minnesotan out of first.   

The team of the night last night?  Team Dressel gets 8 points to get back into the mix - congrats Kev.

I've got NO players playing today.  I expect to drop a few spots by the end of the evening.   

I had no one playing on Monday either.

Uh, we haven't resolved the bench issue folks. 

From my count it looks like thus:

Kevin - no
Scott - no
Rob - no

Jeff - yes (could be either way, basing on the last post)
Ryan - yes
Jason - yes

So it's not resolved at this point.  Mikey, Jamie, Jesse need to form an opinion.  Unlike the basketball pool I don't believe this would have had an affect on drafting strategy either way.  It's early in the season yet, so the change won't dramatically affect anyone's ability to pick up more games, mostly because the NHL has had such a weird-ass schedule already to this point. 

Waivers will go back to two days on Sunday (if I remember ) unless we go to more games, then they will go to 4 days.

   I'm just peachy keen with the way things are.  (I guess that's a no).

That resolves it then, thank you Mikey and Jesse for voting, and everyone else as well.  Settings remain as they did at the start of the season. 

With that said I would suggest that there may be a correlation in the standings between the maximum games played statistic and the standings.  It's not universal, but there's definitely a relationship.

Kidding, I honestly didn't care either way at this point. I would have preferred not to have the game cap at the beginning, but since I've been "somewhat" benching my players since I found out, I'd rather just leave things the way they are, and change it next season.
