Thanks Jeff! I put the first # to good use this evening.
-
Any chance we could sticky this thread? The ROTS one helped me out so much last year, but I had to dig for it a couple of times. I'd like to avoid that, and I believe others would as well.
-
Thanks for the heads up!!!
-
;D pristine noob here. I've been avid on the Titanium vehicles. Here is the DPCI
087061624
They won't let you call before they open, I just tried. They are very rude. I guess you got to wait till 8 am then scramble around to all the nearby targets to see whats there. Well I do at least. There should be a way of checking online for different stores. Just eneter a dpci and your zip to see the stock from nearby locations but of course that makes way too much sense, so why bother.
-
I am new to the board and this is my first post. I am also new to star wars collecting. So what exactly are these numbers? Do you tell these numbers to someone at a Target and then they can look up if they have any in the back or are they for somthimng else. And if they are used to look them up who do you tell them to at a Target store?
-
There are a few ways to use the numbers, Jedifirefly - if your Targets are using the newer price scanners at the ends of the aisles, you can manually type in the number with the keypad and see the floor location and backstock availability. Otherwise, you can track down a red shirt with an LRT and have them punch in the code, or ask at customer service in the front. Results really vary based on the attitude of the employee you're asking, so be warned. ;)
And those numbers aren't for specific items, just the assortment, so for example 087-06-0576 is the actually case assortment of Saga figures, so if there are multiple items or waves to an assortment, there's no way to tell what you'll actually get aside from "Saga Collection" figures. Exclusives are easier because there is only one item in the assortment. So if you see 087-06-0781 in stock, that's definitely Grievous.
Welcome to the boards, too!

Yeah I've found when using the #'s I start in the back and work my way forward... :)
For instance, I was going for a TIE Fighter at Target and so I find a redshirt (after I looked up on a price scanner to make sure they had any in the store) and ask the guy if he can get one... He says no, gives me some story...
I move on to another department for someone maybe less familiar with toys... Same question, and get a similar answer... So I move on...
Last resort is I hit the Customer Service desk. I've yet to be denied by them. They always go back and get what I want and I buy it and leave. They'll usually even get extras if you ask I guess. I've not gotten that gutsy to push my luck so I usually settle for one of whatever I'm after.
The TIE thing was hypothetical, but I have had to do that in the past where I just work my way forward till SOMEONE gets me what I wanted. Someone eventually will. Things like that are why I appreciate Target over Wal-Mart except for their pricing as of late. It's not a whole lot better than Wal-Mart for Customer Service, but it's a little bit, and in this game a little bit goes a long way.
My TIE Fighter when I went for it before they were on shelves I got with the first confused stocker I found... So that was cool. Persistance is key I guess though, incase you're denied.
-
I usually just look for the person who looks like they care the least. So far I've only picked my stock clerk wrong once and had to ask a second person.
-
I've had a red shirt tell me that if it is in back, it is supposed to stay in back. I told him that was a very interesting approach to retail, and to enjoy his life. ::)
-

A little off topic, but I never found the Target TIE with the new wings. Anyone know if they are due out again? Or should I start searching ebay?

I don't see this on the slate for any time soon. It could show up at Hasbro direct like the ROTS interactive R2, but I wouldn't recommend that path if you really want one. I checked ebay completed ones, and they went for 30-45 dollars. Basically still retail or a little better if you are lucky. I would say grab 2 if you can, they look great next to Darth's TIE!

Yesterday I lucked out in Target. I asked a red shirt lady to see if there were any more Titanium ships in the back since the 3 on the pegs are all I ever see ever when I come in this store. She called the DCPI number to the back room on the 2 way radio and the back room guy said "yes I have a location" so she goes in the back and comes out with X1 annakin's SF, X1 naboo royal starship,x1 battled damaged mill. falcon and an imperial shuttle. I took the 3 new ones since I was looking for those. Horay, now I only need the wookie helicopter to complete the wave!
-
Thought this needed a bump with all the Target exclusive stuff hitting across the USA... ;)

Another one of Hasblows crappy idea. ::)
-
I figured I should add these as per our front page story yesterday...
087-06-1990 basic figures $6.99
087-06-1991 expand universe 2 pk $9.99
Oh joy, oh joy. :) The EU 2-packs sound nicely priced, I just hope the figures aren't utter **** because of the price. :(
The basic figures sound like they're getting something changed enough to alter the DPCI... Holo's are disappearing forever or whatnot, and the price isn't going anywhere either. ::)
-
The coins are probally metal at that price.
-
I'd hope so!
-
I was hoping for chocolate coins, oh well. :-\
-
They're called medallions. ::)
j/k You'd have to have been there to have gotten that joke I guess.
-
I was hoping for chocolate coins, oh well. :-\
The pegwarmer's chocloate would be melted. ;)
Strange that there's a DPCI for those out already.
-
Honestly that really escaped me. Given that my Targets still have Carkoon and Hoth junk that would turn into a chocolate coin fiasco that not even Willy Wonka could fix.
-
Back in this thread (http://www.jedidefender.com/yabbse/index.php?topic=9147.0), some people posted images of UPCs that could be printed out and scanned at the store. Would it be possible for someone to do that for one of the VTSC figures for me, or give me a little nudge in the right direction with a UPC generator?
-

I think Hasbro's smart enough to pack in metal coins,to make the price worth more.(Sort of)
-
This'll make it a ton easier to get the mace windu squad. Thanks a ton guys ;D
-
This'll make it a ton easier to get the mace windu squad. Thanks a ton guys ;D
Yeah it does ;D I'm probably gonna get 3 of them just for the air-borne trooper ;)
-
I have seen Darth Vader's x1 Tie Fighter and Mace Windu's Jedi Starfighter out. The boxes looked horrible so I didn't buy them.
Are they (the two vehicles together) an assortment or is their a DPCI number for each one? I've been searching several good SW sites (including this one) to no avail. Can't seem to find a DPCI number for either vehicle.
Any ideas?
-
They do not have unique numbers, just one number for the assortment. Unless it is an exclusive vehicle (like Kit Fisto's ship or the Snowspeeder), Target does not assign an individual DPCI for an item.
So, the Vader TIE and Mace Windu Starfighter have the same DPCI number as the rest of the $19.99 Vehicle assortment -
-
I've been somewhat surprised that there has been no discussion of this, but here goes. It appears that the wave 8 figures may have a different DPCI/UPC number at Target as well as at other chains. Because in both instances when I have checked out with wave 8 figures the barcodes have not been scanning at the register at both Target and Toys R Us. Has anyone else experienced this issue?
Additionally, when I scanned a wave 8 Chewbacca at a Target store with the improved scanner (the one that gives aisle location and stock status), that figure did NOT register in the system. So it seems there may be a new UPC barcode and that may also mean a different DPCI for the figures themselves. HOWEVER, to make matters even more confusing, when I bought a case at Target there was a sticker on the case with the DPCI number of 087-06-0576 that is associated with TSC Basic Figures. Very strange.
-
Some 30AC Battle Pack DCPI numbers:
Betrayal on Felucia Battle Pack: 087-06-1070
Ambush on Ilum Battle Pack: 087-06-0835

I picked up some wave 8 figures, and they had the same DPCI as the other TSC (although one of them didn't ring up, and she just scanned one of the other ones again). I wonder if they just hadn't linked the new UPC to the DPCI in some instances :-\
-
Couple more DPCI's have been added tonight...
087-06-1856 Vintage 30th Anniversary Figures
087-06-1954 Death Star Deluxe Transformer ($49.99)

I was hearing rumors of some price adjustments showing up in the Target computers, so I decided to check for myself and punch in the latest round of DPCI #s for 30th Anniversary stuff. Here's an update on pricing plans for 2007:

Order 66 2-packs 087-06-0884 - $9.99 (lower price, was $12.99)
## Please note that these are the prices here in MN and your local milage may vary a bit...

Very good news! What target did you try this at? The Knollwood store always has higher prices on the basic figs - I'm curious to try the DPCIs there and see if they're the same... :-\

Has anyone seen a DCPI for the Tantive battle back?
Is it 087-06-1707?
I dug that up on some other site using Google...

Jeff posted this in our MN thread indicating that it's not just for the Tantive BP
The case looks like this:
- 2x Capture of Tantive IV
- 1x Jedi Training on Dagobah
- 1x Battle of Geonosis
-
Interesting... none of the Targets near me had it regardless. I just needed to know that I had the right #
Thanks.

Not sure if you got a definitive answer on this or not, so just in case - yes, that is the correct DPCI for the non-exclusive BP's at Target. ;D
-
I made a few updates...
- I updated the format a bit at the request of some folks so the numbers are all up front now...
- I added the 30AC non-exclusive Battle Pack DPCI (#087-06-1707) back to the list, I'm not sure why it went missing.
- Also, these are being "retired" from the first post since they are no longer active (just leaving them here for posterity):
Skirmish at the Senate Battle Pack: 087-06-0863 - $19.99*
Mace Windu's Squadron Battle Pack: 087-06 1797 - $19.99*
Kit Fisto's Jedi Starfighter: 087-06-1798 - $19.99*
Classic OT Snowspeeder: 087-06-1799 - $29.99*
Imperial Shuttle: 087-06-0483 - $59.99*
SW Unleashed: 087-06-0963 - $19.99*
-
ANyone have the codes for the first wave of TAC?
-
30th Anniversary Basic Figures: 087-06-1990 - $6.99 same
-
Hey thanks for the info. I have to say that picture you are using as your aviatar..I have the vintage figure from the 80's what is his name?
-
hey all does anyone have the sku or dcpi for the v-wing an sith infiltrater?
-
There is no specific Target DPCI # for the V-Wing and Sith Infitrator ships, there is only one DPCI # for all ships in the Mid-Size/Starfighter Vehicle Assortment:
087-06-1246 - Mid-Size/Starfighter Vehicle Assortment ($19.99)
Sorry, can't help you on the SKU as I have not heard of anyone finding them at TRU or WM yet...
-
yeah i have that already but thank you walmart hardly get ships in anyway an if you have the number off the box itself you can look it up at target as well i have tried this in the past an worked but i need that number from either one of the ships to check it out...lol
-
I added a bunch 'o Target DPCI's that confirmed a number of rumors that Rebelscum posted earlier... Here's the added items.
087-06-0036 Unleashed Dlx Lightsaber $24.99
087-06-0042 ARC-170 Fighter Vehicle $29.99
087-06-0043 R2-D2 Laptop $19.99
087-06-0064 ARC-170 Battke Fig Pack $19.99
087-06-0117 TIE Bomber $24.99
087-06-0342 Star Wars Cinema Scene $19.99
087-06-0343 AT-RT Assault Squad $29.99
So, these are confirmed and on the way it seems. Curious on that AT-RT squad still...
-
087-06-0036 Unleashed Dlx Lightsaber $24.99
087-06-0042 ARC-170 Fighter Vehicle $29.99
087-06-0043 R2-D2 Laptop $19.99

087-06-0342 Star Wars Cinema Scene $19.99
087-06-0343 AT-RT Assault Squad $29.99
These are all exclusives?
-
These are all exclusives?
Some are, some aren't.
These are pretty general, so they are most likely not exclusives -
087-06-0036 Unleashed Dlx Lightsaber $24.99
087-06-0043 R2-D2 Laptop $19.99
087-06-0342 Star Wars Cinema Scene $19.99 (I think these are the GH Hoth/Naboo Scenes)
These are pretty specific, so knowing Target, they probably are exclusives (but that is not confirmed yet) -
087-06-0042 ARC-170 Fighter Vehicle $29.99
087-06-0064 ARC-170 Battke Fig Pack $19.99
087-06-0117 TIE Bomber $24.99
087-06-0343 AT-RT Assault Squad $29.99
-
Thanks for posting those guys. I'm personally happy to see the TIE Bomber possibly making a comeback, as I had to pass on it during the POTJ days. I'll be glad to pick up one more OT ship that I've been missing, and $25 actually doesn't seem so bad for that ship.
-
25$?
that was cheaper than last time around in POTJ wasn't it?
-
I was thinking it was, but I'm not sure. I thought last time it was a WM exclusive for around $30? I could be wrong though. In that time I couldn't afford a lot of vehicles, and had to pass the time I saw it, and didn't end up seeing it again.
-
Yup...both the POTJ and Saga Bombers were $29.99
-
Target DPCIs:
087-06-1856 - 30th Anniversary "Vintage" Figures ($9.99)
Nobody's finding these for $9.99 (yet), are they? They're $11.99 across the board at everyone's Targets so far, correct? I'm guessing that once WM and TRU get their stock in and start selling them for the usual $9.99, Target will get their **** together and drop 'em back down to the normal $9.99 price. So hang on to your receipts!
I found one wave of them, sans Snowtrooper, at Target a few days ago. But since I need four of each, and even more of the Snow'ies, I've still got a long way to go with these... They definitely look great though, no doubt about that!

Will they lower the price? Target charged $11.99 for the VTSC figures as well, and I never saw their price drop when Wal-Mart and TRU were selling those for $9.99. The price never went down at the Targets around here, other than when they went on clearance.
I got all six figures at a Target last night, and I paid $11.99 each for them.

Not yet, they are all currently ringing up at $11.99 at Target (that $9.99 price was what was in the computer when the DPCI was first discovered last winter).
Will they lower the price?
Maybe, maybe not. It all depends on how badly they want to compete with the other guys... no guarantees that it will go down unfortunately.
-
If they start hitting before Target puts them out, I wager a price drop... Usually whoever gets the drop on this line has gotten the most out of them, and all the others are left to compete or sit with pegwarmers.
Case-in-point, KM here got the VOTC early then the others started to get them. KM was relatively sold out around me of VOTC, till ESB wave hit heavy everywhere, and the other stores were kind of left... A lot of the "collectors" had already gotten what they wanted elsewhere by that point even at inflated prices.
-
DCPI for 30AC Legends?
-
DCPI for 30AC Legends?
I believe they share the same DCPI as the Saga figures: 087-06-0576
-
Yuppers, that's the deal.
-
Target DPCI's added to the front page, check 'em out. Evolutions and the Ultimate Battle Pack both.
-
Ultimate Battlepack: 087-06-0112 $49.99
Evolutions Assortment: 087-06-0669 $19.99
(EDIT: I changed the Evolutions number. I mistyped it in the story, so I updated that and your post here Jman, just for clarity's sake and to hopefully keep anyone from being confused. They're all 087's though, as usual - JJ)
-
087-06-1479 Battle Pack Rancor with Rider. :)
Sounds like there may be a few more numbers popping up pretty soon here too...
-
There should also be a DCPI number for the new grey/white version of the TIE Bomber, a Target exclusive.
-
You mean this one?
087-06-0117 - TIE Bomber ($24.99) *
* - denotes a Target Exclusive item
Always check the first post for the most up-to-date list of DPCIs. ;)
-
Please excuse my ignorance, but i was wondering what a DPCI # was..
I know, I know...What a noob?
not that it would make much difference as the Target i go to is so poorly stocked.
Hope my post Isn't out of place here.
-
A DPCI is the Target tracking number for a product.
There are a few ways to use the numbers -
- if your Target store has the newer price scanners at the ends of the aisles, you can manually type in the number with the keypad and see the floor location and backstock availability
- if not, you can always take the number to a red shirt employee with an LRT and have them punch in the code or ask at customer service in the front of the store to check the number for you
Basically, the numbers will let you know if there is any more new SW merchandise hiding in the backroom of your local Target... ;)
-
Thanks Jeff, much appreciated.
-
Does anyone know when some of these Target exclusives we have DPCI's for actually will start being in stores?
-
What about the codes for the Force Unleashed Minatures?
-
I'm pretty sure that the miniatures stuff comes in through the sports card vendor so it has a DPCI but they don't backstock that. It just gets put out when they get a mail delivery and someone dumps it out there. It doesn't work the same as most of the product. You may still want to know the DPCI but it probably won't do you any good as far as seeing if they have any in back
-
Does anyone know when some of these Target exclusives we have DPCI's for actually will start being in stores?
These were due to start hitting stores at the end of this month and into November.

Is this the DPCI # fOR The battle of Hoth? 087-06-0112
-
Yes... The Ultimate Battlepacks are an assortment as there's two sets, it's not Hoth or Endor specifically... So they share the same DPCI #.
Good luck...

087-06-0991 Star Wars Basic Figures $6.99 (Probably the new figures with stands)
087-06-1011 Star Wars Clone Wars Figures $6.99
Two new Star Wars numbers... The new basic figure number is, assumed to be, the figures without coins but with stands. Might (should?) encompass everything up till the CW line, also listed there. Thanks for those goes out to our Anonymous Target Source.

When going to target how do you punch in the dpci's into the price scanner?
The target people wont tell me anything.

Go to any of the the red price scanners located around the store, most have numbers on the left hand side of the screen. Punch in the DCPI number. Then back up 3 steps, turn 360 degrees in a circle, clap 3 times and the answer will be revealed! ;)
-
Target people should help you (Customer Service Desk) look up a number if you have it as well... Take the number, write it clearly, and give them the paper. If you tell them the number they'll sometimes mistype it I've noticed...
But yeah, the price scanners are your best bet because I've been told by Employees "We don't have that in stock" when giving them the number, after I'd just looked it up myself and knew it was in stock. More or less they lied to me because they just didn't want to have someone get it... Which sucks, but it does happen.
Also your store may have removed the keypad. Some have done that, but usually there's at least one scanner in any given store with a keypad on it that works.
-
Oh yeah those scanners work just fine, helped me grab some stuff this evening.
It should be noted that the DPCI for the TLC Figures scan as "Star Wars Droid Figures" for $7.99, not the $6.99 listed at the beginning of the thread. Also the Comic Packs scan at $12.99, so the price hikes are a go early on.
Oops Jeff already made those changes today after I had last checked the site, I'm an ass for bringing it back up. :P

As per our front page, we have a new list of Target DPCI's (http://www.jedidefender.com/newspro/fullnews.cgi?newsid1232504675,95633,) for your reading pleasure.
Check it out folks. :)

Man, it's been a while since we updated the main page list... looks like it's time to archive a few of these older things to clean up the list a bit:
087-06-0877 - TLC Millenium Falcon ($149.99)
087-06-2052 - Galactic Hero Stocking Stuffer ($9.99)

-
What are DPCI #s used for anyway? :P
-
Does anyone have any updated DCPI numbers? I am looking for the deluxe figure numbers and any Target exclusives. Thanks!
-
The first post is usually the best place to find the most current numbers, but I guess it's a bit out of date. I will try to update it before the weekend is out... here's what you were looking for though -
Clone Wars Deluxe Sets:
087-06-0303 - Clone Wars Deluxe Fig w/Vehicle ($15.99)

Figure assortments all have the same DPCIs. You can visit your store, see how many clone wars figures they have, then call back to get a figure count. If you see the count increase, head to your store and try to grab some new figures. ;)
-
Once again, it's time to archive a few of these older things to clean up the first post a bit:

Today I picked up 4 new Star Wars Transformers at Target. But there was a weird thing on the DPCIs. The V-Wing rang up with the normal DPCI of 087-06-0588 for $16.99, but the other three new ones (tan AAT, Twilight, Y-Wing) rang up under a DPCI of 087-06-2039 for $14.99. Both of these DPCIs on my receipt simply say "Star Wars" so that doesn't help solve the mystery.
Does anyone know where this 087-06-2039 DPCI at $14.99 originated? I googled it and nothing came up. There were no stickers over the UPCs that would have changed them. This isn't a new DPCI for any of the fall items, I already checked that list. And I don't believe the Star Wars Transformers even going back to the beginning of the line were ever on a different DPCI at Target. I went through this thread and didn't find this DPCI. I know last year the Obi-Wan ROTS Starfighter Galactic Heroes Cinema Scene briefly rang up under an old, cheaper DPCI that was for an earlier Target exclusive Galactic Heroes Cinema Scene assortment. It looks like the DPCIs around 2008 started with 20xx like this one but I can't figure out what item this DPCI might have represented before if it indeed was an old one accidentally associated with the new Transformers.
-
My Twilight clocked in at $14.99, but the Y-Wing was still $16.99. Not sure what's up with that, but no biggie.
-
It seems like some of the new Transformers were assigned to an older DPCI by mistake, but it makes me curious what product used to be assigned to that DPCI.
Also, this will screw up Target's inventory. Because the Transformers sold will decrement the wrong DPCI, one that is not in the plan-o-gram anymore, and not the DPCI that actually is assigned to the Star Wars Transformers pegs. So all the Transformers could sell but the computer will still think it has a quantity in stock.
-
Any word on the new DPCIs

Anyone up for some new DPCIs? (http://banthaskull.com/index.php?/page/sub/dpci_codes_new)
Thanks to Banthaskull.com for the scoop.

As per the Front Page Story (http://www.jedidefender.com/newspro/fullnews.cgi?newsid1286346476,22052,), there's a Target sale coming up. I'm not sure if any of the DPCI's are new or not though. It's what I received this evening though. Gives the Hoth sets a general release time too it seems.

Neither of the Clone Wars ones are new...those have been in circulation for a few weeks. Great info about the endcap date though, really hoping those exclusive 2-packs make it out by then.

Time to dust this puppy off. I saw an interesting blurb on RS last night that there may be a new DCPI for the Deluxe Figure and Vehicle sets, er...Class 1 Fleet Vehicles, er...Star Wars Rapid Strike vehicles. Whatever they are calling them now.
087-06-2320 - Star Wars Rapid Strike vehicles, $16.99.
I will be Jedi Mind Tricking this # today and will see what I can find out. Would be curious what others may come up with as well...good luck!
