Wazzup everyone......my name's Brian Wilbanks. Most of you guys know me from Rebelscum.........
I've been considering slowly migrating away from Rebelscum for the time being....as the Admins and mods seem to have a serious problem with people who collect other toy lines besides Star Wars........
I'm a collector of dozens of toy lines and hobbies.....some of my close friends refer to me as "The Toy Whore"........simply because I'm a toy collector/addict.....and I can't stay focused on one toy line...LOL
Anyhow, I plan on hanging and posting here at JD....as I see a ton of familiar faces here.....and I think I might just fit in here ;)

Welcome to JD Brian! I'm sure you're already familiar with most of the gang here, so kick up your feet, relax, and enjoy the great atmostphere around here! We look forward to your participation on the boards, and I'm sure you'll find a number of "other toy line" fans here - lots of Simpsons, Muppets, Sportspicks, Marvel Legends, LOTR, MOTU, and 21st Century collectors roaming the grounds. There's an "official thread" floating around for most of those lines too... So what other lines do you collect?
Anyways, glad you swung by to check us out. Enjoy the boards, and give any of the staff a holler if you have any questions, or ideas on how to make this place any better! We're here to serve!

Holy crap Brian! :o I guess those several toy lines I mentioned ain't gonna quite cover it for you, huh?! That's quite a diverse toy collection you've got going there, to say the least. You should copy that whole post into this thread: What else do you collect? (http://www.jedidefender.com/yabbse/index.php?board=28;action=display;threadid=297) I'm sure people will be most amazed!
So where in this massive list of yours does the Star Wars collecting fall exactly? At or near the top, somewhere in the middle, or further on down? And how many other toy boards do you participate in as well? Still dumbfounded I am!
There's several other HO model railroaders here too, including myself, T-Bone Kenobi, Darth Kenobi, and the JD boss himself (Chris Berry), among others...
Keep up the insane collecting!

Mac, Vintage Star Wars is my main collecting focus......but for me I try to trade for items...or find them at flea markets or etc. I usually don't have alot of money to invest........so I stick to flea market finds ;)
I'm a member of probably at least a dozen toy boards.....
Unfortunatly about 90% of my stuff is boxed up......my parents have been living with my wife Janet and I for a couple years.......my parents are building thier own house (my dad's a General Contractor....construction is my livelihood also) and the house is almost completed.Once the house is finnished I will be building some cabinet grade custom shelving.....and display cases to showcase my toys.
I just picked up a vintage collection of HO stuff from a guy at a swap meet yeasterday.....all cars where AHM...and boxed.In the lot also were some Lionel pieces that were still boxed......so those pieces will be up for sale to cover the cost of what I paid for the lot ;)
It's easy to start collecting alot of stuff when you shop at flea markets.......heheheh

Great to see you around here. Your going to like it. Big collecting list you got. Alot of things are also on my lists. We may have to do a little horse trading later. Speaking of horses. I went down to the NHRA nationals in the Chicagoland speedway yesterday. All I can say is WOW. nothing like a little nitromethane to open up the sinuses. I need to get back on RPM a little more I'm hooked ;)

I haven't been on RPM in over a week....just been too busy on boards such as JD......and I'm waiting for the new cars to hit RPM soon....should be loads of fun!

Hey Brian! Glad to have you join the JD ranks. That's one helluva collection list you've got there! Don't spread yourself too thin, or you won't be able to get all the cool SW stuff out there! At least is sounds like you're a good bargain hunter though, so that should help. Hope you enjoy it here. I'm quite sure you will!

Dang Scott, that collection mirrors what mine did about 3 years ago......I don't have that much stuff yet.......but I do have a few interesting pieces that you don't have pictured....like a boxed Split Seconds VW Detonator and two carded sets of Argentinan figures.....these were molded in exclusive colors ;)
I really love M.A.S.K. alot....as I grew up watching that cartoon almost every day.
