Sorry, didn't know where to post this...I don't see a thread for TVC Class 2 vehicles.
So the new ships have been spotted out in CA, according to GH. Again, I have looked closely at the attached scans and cannot for the life of me figure out how they are differentiating TCW and TVC vehicles now.
IS there a way to tell if a Class II (AKA midsize) vehicle is part of one line or the other?
I can assume the Pod Racers are part of the Vintage line, but I have no clue about the new AAT. The most recent AAT released was for the Clone Wars line, but does this thing belong there too?
I am hoping any TCW themed ships that may get released next year (if there are any) will have some sort of subscript or footnote/tagline/etc to set them apart. It actually does matter to some collectors like myself I think.
-
I think all four (AAT, Infiltrator, Pod Racers) of the "new" vehicles are movie related, not Clone Wars.
Most of the time, the vehicles intended to be Clone Wars vehicles have the words "The Clone Wars" on the box while the non-Clone Wars stuff doesn't - example:
Anakin's Ship - Clone Wars:
Cloud Car - Not Clone Wars:

-
Thanks Jeff, It was indeed easier to figure that out in the old packaging. I'm just wondering if they'll do likewise with the Maul packaging look.
The new battlepacks in the Maul packaging, for example, do not appear to be differentiated at all. The Republic Clone Troopers BP is not marked with the Clone Wars tag anywhere on the box that I can see.
I am hoping this is not going to be the case with the Deluxe sets and the mid-size vehicles as well. I honestly do not know how you would tell which items go with which line. (Which I'm sure is Hasbro's intent, frustrating as it is)
-
The AAT is prominently featured in TPM, so I figure that the new version in the Class II vehicle line will be branded as part of that line.
-
Yes the AAT is in the Maul packaging (http://www.galactichunter.com/gh/story/2012-class-2-vehicles-walmart).
-
Saw a price sticker at Target for mid size vehicles. They want $27.99. Outragous!
-
Even easier to pass.
They barely even put paint aps on this stuff anymore, and they practically print money by re-releasing EVERYTHING and rarely making a new toy. Unless it's a new snowspeeder variant, I'm pretty easily passing. They'd maybe get me with a V-19 deco change too, but I find that unlikely. Deco costs too much, even though the toys cost more than ever.
-

Wow...That's what TRU is charging. I bought a walking cannon there the other week at that price just because I thought I'd never see it again. Me thinks they'd jump to $30-$32 if Target is going to be charging the same as where they're priced at now.
-
I don't think that's unlikely at all... When one goes up, the others follow suit. Wal-Mart will too, like I said elsewhere. This can pretty much be expected. I would assume Deluxe Fig w/Vehicle will go up too, maybe Battlepacks (which just went down in price and figure count recently)...
If one aspect goes up, it seems everything does.
-
A member at Yakface found these at Wal-Mart for $24.96 (http://www.yakfaceforums.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=134&t=6625&start=15), so hopefully they won't be raising the price there... I seem to recall that Target sometimes jacks up prices slightly on some SW items when they first come out, then lower them a bit after demand slows down.
But, a higher price would not surprise me.
-
Still can't see much of the supposed new cockpit for the AAT on the box photo.
-
Wow - time to seriously start thinking about quitting... What will they be doing by the time we get to ROTJ, selling the $20 re-releases for $50?
-
Hasbro's site lists them at $29.99... so I suspect retailers will catch up to that price at some point or another. Funny how the entire first wave is nothing but stuff they already made too.
-
Eek, that's pricey. If the retailers to end up in that $30 range, it would take a lot to get me to pick much up I think. There's nothing currently announced that I really need, although I may grab the new Naboo Starfighter (is that in this assortment?). Otherwise, like Jesse, I'd go for Snowspeeder repaints - or if we see any other OT vehicles (although there might not be much to fit in this assortment at this point, unless they are way off in scale).
This isn't the thread for it, but when reading through the Attack Shuttle thread in the CW forum - and on the topic of "big vehicles", there don't seem like a lot of great options (at least ones that would be somewhat guaranteed sellers). I wouldn't mind seeing them hit a bit lower pricepoint and give us some all new versions of things like the X-Wing, Y-Wing, etc. each year. Do them up really good (maybe with electronics and everything) in a spiffy vintage box, and offer those for the holiday season instead. Not that I don't want to see a Sail Barge or some of the others mentioned, but if those weren't options, I wouldn't mind seeing some of those OT ships (or others) redone to scale, with all the bells and whistles. Anyways...back on topic.
-
I think I'm going to limit myself on these to the updated tank (with the supposedly new cockpit) and the new Naboo starfighter.
The pod racers and Sith Infiltrator are straight up repacks so they are definite passes.
I don't even like the new packaging look/style, so the ugly Maul packaging makes it even easier for me to say "I don't need the re-releases".
-
I've lost count of all the different tank repaints I have so will likely skip that and just get the yellow ship. I stopped buying repack vehicles years back so no desire there to pick anything else up.
I know that the Royal Starship doesn't fit in this category, but what was Hasbro's response to not re-releasing that thing? Didn't we have both the BMF and the AT-TE competing with one another the first year of large vehicles?
-
I was under the impression that the N1 is an all-new ship, and out of the mid-size range. It is definitely larger than the original, actually to-scale now it appears, and a ton more accurate with the way the cockpit slides forward (and opens on hinges too, to get the droid in).
I think that'll be more than a mid-size vehicle, but I'm in... If they can deliver high quality, I'm probably willing to pay a bit more on that one. Scaled ships would have my money. If they did an X-Wing, I'd be willing to shell out big for something like that... or a Y-WIng, B-Wing, etc. I did for large scale airplanes from WW2, and still do for tanks/armor. So long as the quality is there, I'm in on that kind of stuff.
If it's underscaled, or just a slight retool... why pay more for it ya know? the original isn't that good to begin with IMO.
-
According to the Hasbro Q&A, the new 2012 Naboo N-1 Starfighter is 100% newly tooled (http://www.imperialshipyards.net/SMF/index.php?topic=192.msg115088#msg115088).
And according to the slides that were shown at NYCC, that new Naboo N-1 Starfighter should be part of Wave 2 (http://www.jedidefender.com/gallery/imageFolio.cgi?action=view&link=Conventions/New_York_Comic_Con_2011/Hasbro_Star_Wars/Official_Presentation_Slides&image=010.jpg&img=&tt=) of these Class II vehicles (or mid-size vehicles, or assault class vehicles, or starfighter vehicles, or whatever it is they are calling them these days :P).
-
I'm kind of in trouble here. I don't have the Infiltrator still, so I'll probably bite. I'm definitely down for a Naboo fighter. I wouldn't mind an updated tank, but I still really like my original. Almost said vintage.
-
$30 for what seems like a properly scaled and detailed N1? I'm cool with that. $30 for an AT-AP? hah.
-
Probably just doing the Naboo fighter and ATT.
-
TRU.com has the first assortment of vehicles in-stock.... for $32.99 each
-
I just want the Naboo fighter and maybe the Sith Infiltrator...maybe.
-
I wonder if you guys can help me out with some info on the pod racers as I don't own their previous releases. Is it possible to have the part where the driver sits displayed as if it's on the ground rather than mid flight... without permanently damaging the vehicle?
Many thanks
-
Yes. When you assemble the pods just don't connect the metal support rods.
-
Thanks for the quick response man, with that in mind, I might pick these up.
-
The Trade Tank is a worthy upgrade with the new cockpit and accurate paint scheme but the tool is starting to show its age. It's not that it's outdated looking, its the noticeable weak assembly of the toy now. It's been consistent in the line for a long time, this is it's 5th release! The small antenna on the top is losing detail with plastic flash and looking rough and the turret falls off fairly easily. Plus the large cannon does not stay on that great either.
I picked up two of these and will pick up x2 Naboo Fighters and x2 of the new WM Vulture Droid. Unless there is more new stuff shown at TF that's all I plan on buying. I passed on the redecos and re-release stuff. (On a Mid-Size vehicle side note I have never seen the Mandalorian gunship and guess I won't to even consider buying it.)
-
I've seen these at every store this week now, and they all seem to be sitting (at least so far). I never got Sebulba's podracer (or the Sith Infiltrator), but with the higher pricetag I think I'd go to ebay for the older ones if I really wanted them. I think Sebulba's ride can be had for around $10-15 there.

Any chance you could take some pics of the upgraded cockpit? I saw it in the store and passed since I was picking up about $80 worth of battle packs & exclusives (gotta spread these purchases out!), but even when I was checking out the box it was tough to see any details.
-
Next time I hit my storage locker I will. Everything is packed up and everything I buy I drop off. If I was not in the process of moving I would post it already.
-
So... it's almost May and I don't think I've read a single report anywhere that anyone in the USA has found the new N-1 Starfighter (or anything from Wave 2) at retail yet.
I guess that's what happens when you kick off the year with Pod Racers repacks (with no pack-in figure) for $30, despite the fact that you can buy the 13-year old TPM versions (WITH pack-in figures) for like $20 on eBay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/STAR-WARS-EPISODE-1-SEBULBAS-POD-RACER-EXCLUSIVE-FIGURE-BRAND-NEW-MINT-IN-BOX-/251046933779?pt=US_Action_Figures&hash=item3a73903513).
Never did find that CW Mando Shuttle and with each passing month, I'm less interested in the N-1 upgrade. Bummer. :(
-
Another month about to expire, another deadline missed on the Mando Shuttle. I guess EE is now going to say "Coming in May!" like anyone will believe that.
What angers me is that Hasbro actually TOLD people to go out and buy it from EE directly, giving the impression that they had worked out some kind of deal where these would find imminent release.
Apparently not.
I don't get it. Did they only make like 1000 of these? Why is it so hard to produce more and get them into circulation?
After getting burned on those DVD sets, damned if I'm going to overpay for this thing only to have it go the clearance route six months from now.
-
They have to be out there somewhere - we're just in a waiting game for someone to get them into distribution. It wouldn't make sense to spending the tooling dollars on a really small production. I think they will show up somewhere eventually - hopefully to all of you that ordered them from EE.
What I don't understand is why Hasbro doesn't try to sell them direct from their site. They're obviously sitting on a stash of inventory and having trouble getting it into the retail pipeline. So why not use your own retail site to push them out and start recouping costs? I bet they could put them up at $35 and sell 'em like hot cakes at this point.
-
I don't know what true cause is for all of Hasbro's issues with distribution lately, but it's beyond frustrating. I think it's a combination of bad decisions on their part and an inability to figure out case rations/demand in the "new" economy.
-

That's exactly what they've done - http://www.entertainmentearth.com/prodinfo.asp?number=HS30494
I'm willing to be patient on this as well - I have two on pre-order with them and I have no intention to cancel that order. Even if these things hit clearance at TJ Maxx/Marshalls/etc... there are still going to be people looking for these in some form or fashion.
What I find funny is that they also have the case assortments that this ship comes in and it includes the V-19 and Anakin's yellow JSF. The V-19 is currently languishing on shelves in the over-priced Vintage Vehicles assortment and the Anakin JSF is supposed to be coming out in the Maul-style packaging line.
Good job Dimwitz!!!
-
Good job Dimwitz!!!
LOL!
-
Yeah, I'm really curious where this line is headed in the future. It seems to have little to no attention from Hasbro anymore, and at this point much of the new things you'd see from the movies has either been done recently or is too large for this assortment. I was interested in the new Naboo Starfighter as well, but like Jeff mentioned, my enthusiasm seems to lessen each month out we get with no release. They really should have tried to have this out for the 3D launch, and at least have something new in that assortment. Those repacked ships (and even the vintage ones) have seemed to languish about.
-
Still want the N1 but outside of Vinty figures and those exclusive packs that leaked, I'm really disinterested in all this other stuff. Clone Wars is in the toilet in favor of the TPM blitz we're still suckin' on at retail... Vehicles have been in the toilet since that (all too brief) glimmer of hope when TVC started and the Snowspeeder and Cloud Car made you think that things were changing finally. I still expect a repaint of one or both of those ships, with figures to maybe go with them.
The N1's cool... it's the only cool vehicle I can think of. I thought the Mandalorian ship was sort of goofy.
Actually though I never even saw a Clone Cannon. :) I can't say I care about that either.
Oh well.
-
Actually though I never even saw a Clone Cannon. :) I can't say I care about that either.
I saw it at TRU a few times. Although I stay away from Clone Wars stuff, this looked too cool to pass up. Yet, I did each time I saw it. I figured it'd hit WM or Target for cheeper. But, no.

I found all three of mine at Wal-Mart and never paid the same price twice. $16, $18 and $20.
-
Wow, completely forgot about the N-1. Guess I'm not as enthusiastic about it as much as I thought I was
-
Mid August and still no N1 >:( >:(

Mandalorian Transport 2!
Hey, Hasbro try leading 2013 with new molds and save the recycled junk for the refreshes that never make it to stores.
-
Mandalorian Transport 2!
Hey, Hasbro try leading 2013 with new molds and save the recycled junk for the refreshes that never make it to stores.
Precisely the reason why I just went ahead and bought the Wave 2 ships by-the-case from EE. After paying $100 for a C8 MIB US-version Mandalorian Transport, the last thing I wanted was to have to spend that kind of money for the new N1 and the repainted Clone tank.
-
GH reports today that the Naboo Starfighter will NOT be coming to a toy shelf near you in 2013, as per Hasbro.
Surprised? Outraged? Completely non-plussed?
I don't care about the ship personally, but this would really irk me if I had been waiting and waiting for this. It's absolutely the Mando Shuttle all over again.
Don't see why they couldn't just shunt these to Kojl's/TJ Maxx/ROSS/Marshall's for the holiday season.
I still don't get where the ones they actually made are sitting. I don't think etailers ever got this did they? Just a few Mom and Pop reports were all I've heard.
Bummer.
-
I don't think etailers ever got this did they?
Etailers have been receiving the Naboo Starfighter wave for a while. In fact, it's In Stock at EE (http://www.entertainmentearth.com/prodinfo.asp?number=HS36785B&id=HA-807301583) right now... of course, you have to buy the whole case to get it. :(
-
I my best Ren voice. You Idiot(s) ! Was this thing seriously supposed to be released in time back when Ep13D came out ? How did that get ****** up so bad...Maybe the vehicle line would have lasted longer if they had new product on the shelves, but I guess Hasbro wanted to kill these $30 vehicles off.
-
No, more like Lucasfilm wanting Hasbro to kill 3 3/4, and Hasbro said "we'll make consumer friendly $20 items, will that shut you up?"
The N1 was delayed because Hasbro had to rush episode 1 stuff because Lucasfilm didn't give them enough notice.
And retailers don't give a @#$%% about restocking toys anymore.
-
They won't just dump them possibly because they'd eat a big loss... Those stores, Kohls not included since they're not a discount chain (I assume you meant Kohl's), aren't going to pay what WM or Target or other retailers pay out for the stuff.
I wanted the retool, it's a good ship, and the update is a needed update to the already solid vehicle... It really just needed a better cockpit and removable droid, and got it.
Alas, it'll fall into obscurity... till Hasbro DOES rerelease it eventually, and they will.
I won't say I'm not disappointed, but I will say I'm not crying about it... Like the Mando shuttle, I'd buy if I saw it I think, but I don't care enough to be upset.
Now if it were the Snowspeeder or a repaint of the Snowspeeder... yeah I'd be annoyed.
-
Since Padme starts EP2 flying one into Coruscant with R2 as her droid, I have no doubt that even if it's an exclusive somewhere, we could see a set that consists of the N1 Fighter, a new Pilot Padme and R2-D2.
I know I'd love a set like that....

Naboo Fighter on Amazon UK (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Star-Wars-36788-Naboo-Starfighter/dp/B008VRFQI0/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1350682523&sr=8-4/)
Only 31.99 in British Pounds, which according to Google comes out to $51 US, before overseas shipping!
-
Ummm, yeah... no... :)
-
IMHO, that is not bad at all considering no one is EVER going to find this in a store in the US. At least they didn't make 5% of them in English language packaging and the other 95% in trilingual style ala the Mando Transport. That would be way more aggravating/expensive.
I seem to recall having some problems trying to order items off of Amazon UK in the past though, like some items cannot be put into your cart for some reason. Maybe only certain sellers ship overseas?
-
You know, when this was first shown/announced I was kind of excited for it. I have fond memories of the ship just because my wife got me one as a gift once when they were on clearance at TRU for like $5 or something, and it was a nice surprise. But, as the year went on and it didn't hit retail and kept getting pushed back, I lost interest. Now, I don't know if I care or not. I suppose if I saw one on the shelf I'd maybe pick one up, but the combination of running out of room and focusing more on the OT for anything outside of basic figures makes me think about passing on it now. I could see it hitting again as a retailer exclusive though, since this size doesn't fit into the new $20 pricepoint.
-
To me, nothing that was to retail for $30 is a good deal at $50... Nothing modern should be anyway. Just because Hasbro f'd it up and didn't get it out doesn't mean that now $50's fair for it. Not to me anyway. I look at it as easy to walk away from since they didn't get it to me for what they said they would. They don't deserve my moolah for it. I felt the same way on the Mandalorian ship...
At the same time though, I figure Hasbro will put them out again at some point. They like doing that stuff. :P
-
How about a nice Ultimate Battle Pack - new Pilot Panaka & Astromech, new Pilot Padme & R2-D2, and the new N-1 Starfighter with a backdrop straight from the opening of AOTC. Toss in an "exploded" Handmaiden to seal the deal. ;)
-
You meant Typho there, but yeah I'm all for that... I'm sure they'll figure out something to put it into circulation because it's rare. As long as the line doesn't go kaput they'll try to at some point.
-
Toss in an "exploded" Handmaiden to seal the deal. ;)
;D I laughed at that.... that would be a selling point, right? A dead Corde? And then give up dead and battered Shim for the Swoop bike, too (or a limp canvas bag).
-
Funny - I read that wrong the first time and thought you wrote "exploited handmaiden," which would obviously be less kid-friendly.
-
Guess what I got in the mail today? :D
(http://jedidefender.com/jsmentek/photos/IMG_0498.JPG)
Yep, I'm a sucker who plunked down the cash and bought myself a 2012 Class II Wave 2 case from EE (http://www.entertainmentearth.com/prodinfo.asp?number=HS36785B&id=HA-807301583). At least I got free shipping... and yes, another Anakin Starfighter for Toys for Tots! :P
And I literally LOLed, when I saw this little guy on the case -
(http://jedidefender.com/jsmentek/photos/IMG_0499.JPG)
So sad to think these cases were ready for the January launch... excellent work there retail & Hasbro! ::)
-
Wow. Just... wow. ::) How the hell were these NOT out there? How!? This is as close to "iconic fighter" that TPM had... WTF?!
-

Look at it this way - the Clone Tank, while it is a repaint, if you don't want it, I'm sure there's someone out there who does.
I needed one of each of these vehicles MIB and one of the Naboo Fighter and Tank to open - so I plunked down the money for TWO cases from EE.
I ended up opening the spare Anakin JSF and getting a spare Realistic Clone Wars Anakin figure to pilot it - and I had a spare 2011 Vintage ROTJ R2-D2 that fit perfectly in the droid socket.
So for me the only Anakin JSF that's going to Toys for Tots is the one from my Mando Shuttle - why do I get the feeling that A LOT of boys who benefit from Toys for Tots are gonna get that ship this year LOL...
-
Saw an AAT at TJ Maxx for $16.99. Hadn't heard of the vehicles hitting there yet. Decent price, but I didn't open the one I got last spring during some Target sale. Passed.
-
broke down and bought the naboo fighter

39.99 with free shipping from the UK.
better than the ebay prices

Where is the Naboo Starfighter thread?
And WTF is a "Gordman's"?!?!
And why can't people on the East Coast get access to these! >:(
-
Another store chain no one knew existed, I used to live in one of the states they have stores in and I don't remember it.
-
Everyone has stuff like that... 5 Below's not everywhere but has obviously been in the news a lot... We have something called Peebles. Not many seem to have those. No toys (of note) btw, just mentioning we have them. :P
Hell, K-Mart's really regional at this point.
-
LOL, I went in a Peebles last week because they looked like an out of the way place that might have toys. Pathetic. Their toy section was even tinier than Kohl's.
All I can do is keep checking Ross, TJ Maxx, and Marshall's and hope for the best, I guess.
-
And WTF is a "Gordman's"?!?!
And why can't people on the East Coast get access to these! >:(
I will trade out the local Gordman's for a 5 Below any day of the week. :P
-
Gordman's looks, to me, similar to Peebles actually... Like a tiny Penney's or Kohl's.
Peebles is basically just that and their business model's to put stores in where there's basically not a lot else to compete (usually far from Target/Wal-Mart, and any malls). Thus I have one in my town actually. Got 2 sportcoats there last year though... They kind of fill a niche actually, but toys aren't their thing by far.
Dunno if then that's what Gordman's is like, but yeah I'd take 5 Below over that... :P Despite 5 Below kinda being designed for small children and little girls in particular.
-
5 Below seems mostly useless for anything besides cheap action figures, but that's because I'm not their target audience.
I remember when Big Lots had worthwhile stuff, besides the yearly Power Team Elite army toys that increase in price every year.
There's an Ollies an hour's drive away, but I've never gone to it. Haven't heard of them having anything special recently.
-
Not fair to PTE, they actually only had one price increase... my bigger gripe with them is a lack of presence this past year, and limited new stuff... They've not been on a tear of their usual new waves of stuff in a couple years. The last new things were only a couple playset items ultimately.
They've been years since they put out some sets too like the bridge, bunks, full tent, etc.
PTE has way more potential for goodness.
5 Below has a lot of other cool stuff... card games, goofy car stickets and tin signs, candy out the ying yang, lego minis... It's a store I could probably go in every day and come out with something... But yeah definitely a tad girly in there.
-
No, I have a figure and camel set box that was $3, those small sets have steadily gone up to $5 over the past few years. At one point the Hummers were well under $20, too.
Funny, I mention Big Lots and there's now reports of Class 1 2013 items appearing there for $18.
-
I strapped on my flak jacket and stopped by a Big Lots yesterday on the way home from work, just out of curiosity. They had absolutely nothing SW related in the whole miserable store. Remind me to get a vaccination before I step foot in one of those places again...eesh.
$18 isn't really a bargain price anyway. I'd prefer to wait it out and pick some more of these up at Ross/TJ Maxx/Marshall's when they'll be at a more appealing $7.99-9.99 range.
-
Yeah I found the $18 price sorta meh. I'd rather buy them at K-mart and get the reward points. I've got almost $40 stashed on my Rewards card I plan on using when new stuff winds up hitting, or on the exclusives when they arrive.
Those sets haven't been hard to find either... TRU, Target (lots there now), K-Mart all have had them in abundance. I'd like a 2nd Yoda fighter but only a cheap one, nothing full price... really just for the droid dome.
-
I stopped by Tuesday Morning after work yesterday and walked out with a brand new, absolutely pristine minty boxed Naboo Fighter for $14.99. ;D
Best day of SW collecting I've had in a long time.
-
Same here. I picked up the Naboo fighter and Tank.
-
I went back to Tuesday Morning and picked up the tank today too. Curious if this is just a straight repaint of the CW version...
-
I went back to Tuesday Morning and picked up the tank today too. Curious if this is just a straight repaint of the CW version...
Yes, repaint.
-
>:( Stupid Tuesdsay Morning closed their store here years ago (after relocating once), the closest one is at least a 45 minute drive away.
-
So I went on a Naboo Fighter hunt...
There's a trick to Tuesday Morning's system to finding stuff you want (http://www.jedidefender.com/index.php?id=403), so long as you have the SKU off the TM price sticker. Click the link to get the skinny on how to call and track it down, or at the very least narrow your search by a good bit!.
The SKU reads the same for all the ships though, but the system will tell you as of the previous day's closing, which stores in your zip's immediate area have at least the SKU in stock and a quantity... 3 means the case is there untouched. Anything less, it's a gamble... My store only had 2 items, I rolled the dice basically.
I checked and only 2 stores around Pittsburgh came up for me and one's in EBF. So I went to the one semi-close right after work Saturday, and of all the things they'd sold the tank but had the Naboo Fighter, so I got one for a cool $15. :) It's awesome too... TVC level of quality. The opening hull shows the guns inside, very World War II-ish in design! It's a dream come true.
It's a tight fit for pilots in their coats, but it is doable. The ability to swap droids is absolutely worth it. If I found 2 more I'd probably buy 'em.

Tried my local Tuesday Morning shop, but no luck with the Naboo Fighter or the Republic Fighter Tank. BTW, thanks for the search tip, Jesse! Unfortunately there are none in my area.
-
Yeah I checked out my local Tuesday Morning and the only Star Wars stuff they had were puzzles.
-
Saw the new Darth Vader packaged Class II vehicles at my local TRU before going into work today. Left all three - it was the Anakin and Obi-Wan ROTS Jedi Starfighters and Jango Fett's Slave I - which I'm sure is just a repackage from the Yoda line.
I did not grab any of them, hoping that they'll show up at Target and I'll be able to get them cheaper...

I saw these at TRU yesterday too. Why would I pay all that money for a Slave I when I can walk next door to Target and buy one for $13.48?
Wasn't the Obi-Wan JSF part of the yoda packaged line too? I can't recall now.
-
The AOTC Obi-Wan JSF was part of the Yoda line, the Vader line has the ROTS Jedi Starfighter re-sculpts.
Turns out the price on the vehicles at Toys R Us was $19.99 - and I had $10 worth of rewards bucks that were expiring, so I pulled the trigger on the two JSFs leaving the Slave-I behind. Eventually I'll grab one for my MIB collection.
-
I found a full case of these at TJ Maxx today for $14.99 each. Easy pass as Target is still cheaper at $13.98.
-
These are crap at any price... :x I saw them too McMetal and they're just bad ideas to me.
-
I don't know if I could buy one at $10. I never had any clone fighter tanks before. But that hollow underbelly is a big turn off.
-
Bought 2 Greens for $15 each at Tuesday Morning... Far better than these.
-
One of our Targets dropped the price on these to $10 so I caved and picked up a Slave 1. I might get the Tank too if I see it out there.

Wow. I have to say, that I'm both surprised AND disappointed with the vehicle lineup for the Class 2 vehicle line.
The Boba Fett's Slave I looks ridiculous. Let's not kid ourselves, there. And it seems like it's only coming out because Hasbro had already done the Jango version, and they're trying to make good use of the tooling.
The Anakin Delta 7 fighter? It's another case of using the tool from the previous Obi-Wan Kenobi version. A very transparent move.
But for me, the clincher here was the Obi-Wan Kenobi Jedi Interceptor from Episode III. Hasbro FINALLY got the paint apps correct on Obi-Wan's second (blue markings) Interceptor, but it's only on this smaller, inferior version. I had harped on this directly with Hasbro NUMEROUS TIMES, telling them that the paint apps on the first release of Obi-Wan's blue interceptor and Anakin's green interceptor were way off. They re-released both, and AGAIN they were way off. So now, Hasbro FINALLY gets the deco right on Obi-Wan's fighter that he flies to Utapau, but it's this scaled down garbage?
UCK.
-
The Anakin Delta 7 is technically EU, never appears in a movie and the CW version is a different model. That makes it sort of interesting...sort of.
Very lazy entries. 3 waves of these vehicles using only four different molds. From a play perspective, there's no current Episode 3 enemy fighter to go against the jedi ships. And nothing to go with or against the OT Slave 1. Without going to much higher price items, anyway.
If it matters.
-
Kids don't have time to have a ship go against an enemy... too many hands required for that much time-sucking fun.

What I find odd/interesting is that the packaging should really call out that these are "all new" or be window boxed or something. There is nothing that give the outward appearance that these are smaller for kids and most parents sure as hell wouldn't know the difference if they were familiar with any of the other prior incarnations.
-
I just want to see more OT themed ships. Maybe the repainted Slave One is a sign of more OT vehicles... heck, even the tank repainted in Imperial gray similar to the battlefront colors would make me smile.
-
As per the front page, there are still (and even more now it seems) cases of Naboo Fighters hitting Tuesday Morning. Good if you have the store near you.
I got mine there in the initial reports... Found another couple after some work for friends then recently, as stores continue to get this case in. Seems several stores got 2 cases each.
I also bought the tanks. I regretted not buying the original, and that tiny one blows. So I bought, and I have to say it's probably actually accurately scaled, it just doesn't have the pivoting nacels like it should, but still it's a good size.
-
I picked up an Assault Tank for $10 on clearance at Marshall's today. I had gotten one a few months ago at Target for roughly the same price, but ended up returning it to help buy the 6" Sandtrooper. And now the circle is complete!
-
I snagged Obi-Wan's petite Jedi Starfighter today at Marshall's for a very palatable $7. They had 3, all priced the same as the remaining Class I sets. (which I also bought)
-
Never got that cheap here. Marshalls/TJ Maxx has had nothing great, they got the 2013 pod racers back in at $17. Blech.
-
I think i finally cleaned out all the local discount stores, but I did stumble across a TRU express yesterday with $15 Naboo Starfighters. I grabbed the only two they had. It was reported awhile ago that these were hitting there, but I hadn't personally seen it til yesterday. Good buy!
-
Looks like TRU Express stores still have a fair amount of the Darth Maul packaged vehicles on hand. I was able to get another Naboo Starfighter as well as the Republic Fighter Tank repaint today at a TRU Express near me. It might not have been a sweetheart deal like $15, but even at $19.99 it was a decent deal.
-
I found that Movie Heroes Fighter Tank (missing the launchers) at a yard sale. It's good to find anything action figure related at a garage sale, and I paid 50 cents for it but damn, what a hollow thing....they wanted $20 for that?
-
What exactly is it? I don't recall that one. ???
-
The Clone Army hover Tank that only appeared in video games. They call if Republic Fighter Tank for some reason. This is the version they remade smaller and cheaper.
Republic Fighter Tank (http://www.rebelscum.com/Republic_Fighter_Tank_Class_II_2013_Green_Yoda.asp)
-
Oh yeah that's kinda what I thought you meant but then I was thinking of the bigger one in the older line for some reason I guess. My confusion.
Yeah though, that thing's ass.
-
Yes, I had to search around to figure out what line it was release under....the sort lived Yoda packaging!
I have two full sized Fighter Tanks I got last year that I also need parts for...if I'm gonna keep them. Too bad they never made an Empire At War version (though those things sucked in the game so much I rarely built them...their best feature was that they could hover across water).
-
In light of recent developments I might finally have a good reason to unbox the N-1 Starfighter from this line.
-
I was going to buy one around Christmas. They were generally $30 or $40.
Now they’re $150…
I have a beat up one that my nephews gave me that’s missing the tail piece and missiles, I think it’s going to have to do for now.
