Today I recieved a newsletter from Cloud City Collectibles with a huge RS ad at the bottom....I unsubscribed and sent the following comment to their sales department:

Due to the recent actions of a webmaster of a site you support, I have unsubscribed from your newsletter. I will not  give any business or potential business to sites that advertises and supports Rebelscum.com, where recently  real Star Wars fans were ridiculed and denigrated by it's webmaster and host, who then censored and erased his own posts...

I urge everyone to do the same...to any site that supports that site and it's greedy webmaster-bater....

I am not sure about Revan...I heard too many people mention other figures, especially the other Darths (Nihilus, Bane, Malak)....I am thinking Darth Revan's middle initial is an "L"....watch, they'll make a removable helmet Darth Revan with the new Fan Club President's head!!!! After all Revan was a character that you could create in the game as male/female and give it any look you choose...they may choose the look of a smug A-hole!

Accesories make too much sense. So they won't do it.

Since have been doing themed waved, a themed accesory woudl make sens e(like the 3 Tatooine figures with the bar table.) The Hoth figures could have had crates and containers found in the rebel base or they coudl do themed stands insteand of holos and generic stands....Carkoon wave with a generic Jabba Palace floor tile stand, or even Tatooine sandy terrain stand/tile. Nah, we get coins, holos, the ever popular Flashback card things...i.e. crap for the junk box.

I am soooo excited about this news. The Sketchbook and Art of Books were huge influences on me growing up. My design background started with Ralph, Joe and Nilo's Artwork. One of the first SW books I remeber owning was the ESB Sketchbook when I was 8. I loved the concept art in the Topps Card sets too....
So far We've had:

I'm thinking some wires are crossed somewhere. From reading between the lines of all the Q&A's....I'm thinking there will be ANH 30th 2 pack Screen Scenes again and there will be Concept EU McQuarrie based figures too....

GalacticHunter: The Ralph McQuarrie Stormtrooper from 2003 was a big hit with fans, and they were snatched off of shelves as quickly as they appeared. Is there any chance that we'll see figures based on Concept Art, Poster Images, or other non-movie images in the near future?

Hasbro: I can't be too specific right now, but that's a great question. Details will be revealed at Comic-Con.

Figures.com: With next year being the 30th anniversary of the birth of the Star Wars franchise, can we expect anything from Hasbro to commemorate the release of the first Star Wars Movie?

Hasbro: Yes! Stay tuned for details in the coming months.

I was always expecting a rehash with the repainted Star Tours R5 droid 'damaged' body, an R2 head and and the AOTC preview astromech electricity wrap kitbashed to create the "Death Star Trench" R2-D2

I believe the vintage (and droids) R2 just basically held the saber, no launching. The saber wa sstubbier and kind of baseball bat shaped (fatter at the end) to 'pop' into into place in the hole in his dome.

The VOTC R2 had the switchable door open/door closed options for the panels. So They coudl do that for a Bunker R2.

I've been collecting since I was 7, I read a majority of the fan sites daily (the decent non SCUMmy or SirSleezy ones) and I have seen many many many characters requested by the fans. I have NEVER EVER seen anyone request a Naboo Mechanic...One site even did an article to shwo fans exacly where this guy came form....they  had to point him out because no one was sure where he was in the film, let alone did anyone have a desire for the figure. Was the idea to make that figure by the same genious that decided to make choppers? When will we get "Tatooine man #2"? I know it will be before characters integral to the story like, young Owen and Beru....

I easily found a Yoda with Yoda Holo, but it took me until today after looking through many Vaders the past 2 months to find a Vader with Vader...plus a buddy found a Bespin Vader with Vader for me today!

I've seen a good mix of them around town, I would say probably more Yoda than anything warming pegs in this wave...I mean the same figure was released 3X within 2 months.  First in the Coruscant Wave, then the Senate Battle Pack, then the Hero and Villain set...and he was not hard to come by last year on the ROTS card.

I got really lucky and bought a Vader with Vader UGH off ebay, shipped for $22. THEN the guy screwed around and took too long to ship it or contact me as to why there was a delay, and after 2 weeks I asked him what was going on, before I filed a complaint,  and to make up for it he sent me a Scorch AND a Foul Moudama with my UGH Vader w/ Vader! That was the only UGH I wanted and was willing to pay $25 for one...I got it for less than I planned ot pay, plus 2 figure si had yet to pick up...yea...I was happy.

Has anyone seen the Demise of Grievous lowered yet? They have been peg warming around here for a month...i got burnt buying the crappy lava reflection Duel figs for $14 only to see them blown out at less than half that...I don;t want a grievous covered in macaroni bad enough to pay full price...they give us overpriced crap, I ain't buyin'!
