Title: Double Telescoping Saber DT Ben
Post by: DSJ™ on September 10, 2003, 08:13 PM
Here's an auction that ended for a Double Telescoping DT Saber for the vinty Ben figure. This was for the Saber only.

DT Ben Saber (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3144558045&category=2475&rd=1)

Major bucks for a Saber for the size of a toothpick!   ;D

Sure would of loved to have that in the collection. Maybe someday!  8)

OMG!   :o  I would have just bought a repro instead of dumping out that kind of cash on a tiny little piece of plastic.

Isn't that a really good price? How much does a loose DT Ben normally go for?

In an unrelated topic: I sent you an email Chris.  :)

I think compared to the price of what an actual DT Ben complete would go for, this isn't a bad deal. You can now just give the saber to a Ben you paid $10 for. Question though arises, having not ever had the privlege of seeing a DT saber up close, is the saber broken? I wouldn't think that the thin portion would be designed to pop out of the thicker portion.

Well, I recently purchased a vinatge luke stormtrooper helmet for $35, so I don't feel so bad.

I have heard that this is the harder of the telescoping figures to get.

$170+ dollars!
