Kicking off a thread for a new mainline wave - better pics coming later

Really looking forward to that Obi-Wan.

Yord's nice, but I really want a Jecki figure...she was such a great character.

I like the Kenobi, but could we get a different character (Leia?) from this show?  This will be our fourth Obi-Wan.  We've got a couple Darth Vaders, a kitbashed Purge Trooper, and a kitbashed Jawa, Reva, and the Grand Inquisitor. 

Lots of good options left to choose from that aren't Kenobi, Vader, or a kitbashed figure that's already been released.

Based on the reveals so far and some scuttlebutt from Jayson at Yakface, it appears The Acolyte is getting a fairly good mix of characters being released.  I'd like to see this same attention provided to Kenobi and especially Andor which has a Season 2 coming that has virtually no figures made for it.

These were some decent reveals.  But there's a similarity in the two figures that is a little frustrating.

I like this version of Obi-Wan.  Because it's a bridge between him over the course of the OWK and his future in ANH.  I know that a lot of people associate this look for Obi-Wan with the Sideshow Mythos statue.  And it's interesting to see how that particular statue has shaped people's ideas of Obi-Wan during the period between the PT and the OT.  But as far as other characters from the OWK series?  Leia is a glaring omission.  And I hope that Hasbro will address her at some point, because the series essentially revolves around her.

Yord looks like a great figure.  If this is the next in a series of figures from The Acolyte?  Bring them on if they're going to look this good!  I personally want to see Kelnacca as well as the Stranger.  We'll see what happens with figures from the series in due time.  I guess things were far enough into the development process that Hasbro couldn't just cancel them and do something else.

Maybe Skeleton Crew will be a good excuse for Hasbro to build up a base of "kid parts" that they can then re-use for OWK Leia and Luke, a new TPM Anakin, Kitster, and Wald.  Just start cranking out all kinds of little kid action figures.

Nice, they both look great. I agree with Dave in that I wish we would get something besides an Obi-Wan from the show though... but at least we got the iconic last-look costume. I don't love The Acolyte as a whole but Yord had a cool death scene and will look great on the shelf with the others.

I held off on the full case from EE for now and just went w/ 2x of each from Amazon for now. But I may change that once we get a little more of the breakdown of what other single packed figures are included in the case, for now I don't want to end up with too many extras.
