Cinematic trailer.

Gameplay Walkthrough.

This game has some serious potential!  I'm hopeful for the future now that EA no longer has it's stranglehold over Star Wars games.

I’m very impressed and excited. :)

For some reason I was thinking this was way further out. It’ll be interesting to see how similar the release version is next year. I’m a big Assassin’s Creed fan, but I’m not always thrilled with UbiSoft. They are still going to be an improvement over EA. Hopefully this game ushers in a new era for Star Wars gaming with lots more quality games from a bunch of different studios.

Story trailer.

Release date: 30 August 2024.

Platforms:  PC, PS5, X-Box Series X/S.

Looks good, my only fear is that by the third mission, your character will unlock the ability to be a Jedi.

Anyone else playing this game?  I'm about 30 hours in and most of that has been doing side contracts and exploring the different planets.  I'll get to the actual story eventually!

Despite my initial excitement, I decided to wait to pick it up for awhile after seeing some of the initial reviews and knowing Ubisoft's record with buggy games at launch. The last few Assassin's Creed games were super buggy at launch, but they got patched over the next few months after launch. I'd rather wait until that happens with Outlaws to play more of a complete game.

I ended up deciding to play Witcher 3 instead. I already owned it, had gotten it for free, and had never played it. Currently, that feels like the right choice. However, I am still looking forward to playing Outlaws one of these days.

I'm playing on an X-Box series X and have only hit one glitch with a cutscene where it would crash the game.  Just skipped the cutscene and played on.  A couple of minor glitches in gameplay but nothing terrible.

I honesty do not get all the hate for this game.

Nice! That's really good to hear you've enjoyed it and it hasn't been buggy for you. I'm on Series X too. I'll have to grab it as soon as I finish Witcher.

I picked this up early this spring on sale. I had a hard time getting into at first, even though visually it looked amaizing and sounds great. I was coming off a 500-hour Witcher 3 playthrough and just wasn't really ready for a new game, so I set it aside for a bit and was barely playing. I came back to it this month and have finally started getting into it. I'm not that far in yet, I just left Toshara for the first time and met the old BX droid. Now that I've been playing more, I've really been enjoying it. The world building and art direction is really good. There's a lot of potential for figures or vehicles, I'd love a Kay & Nix, the BX droid, some Pykes, Kay's speeder, or any of the side character aliens.  I've spent far too much time playing sabaac so far...

(Side note: I wonder if there are real-world bars that ever host in-person Gwent or Sabaac games...)

Glad you're enjoying it Ryan.  I beat the story a while ago and haven't loaded the game in a while, but I am considering downloading the DLC with Hondo Ohnaka in it.

One of my favorite things to do in the game is find a good hiding spot in an Imperial base and have Nix run out and detonate thermal detonators on stormtroopers.  It's freakin' hilarious!
