The Black Series 3.75" / Re: Toy Fair 2014

Yeah, that's why I'm not betting they'll do anything about it.  I wish we had gotten something into DePriest's hands a year earlier. Not that it means it would have made a difference, but the timing certainly would have been better.

Great figures, and good case assortments.  Definitely worthy of buying a case online.

I fear there could be a retail pegwarmer here in Toryn Farr, and Dack.  I think those would have been okay at 1 each per case.  But at least both are really good figures.

Looks like also DePriest feels that the helmets are oversized for the phase 2 clones... which makes me very happy. I hope that his comments to JTA really mean that something will be done about it.  I'm not holding my breath, but do have some optimism here.

To the segment of collectors out there claiming this was a bad Toy Fair, I couldn't disagree more. If you take the foreknowledge of the entire list of product scrubbed from Hasbro's database out of the equation, this show had a ton of reveals. I can't say I'm disappointed with anything other than the huge x-wing "sibling maimer" or the Command line and the fact that there was no reveal of The Ghost or female SWR action figures.

I thought this was much more promising too - I can't say I was blown away, but it wasn't too much of a letdown.  Compared to 2013's Toy Fair event, this was night and day.

From what I've seen, Five Below stores blow through the TVC stuff so fast, it's insane... they are the only place that can more the TPM carry forwards... they do get stuck with some Qui Gons but I am hoping now after yet another sell-through with more Malgus cases, they are eager to get later waves of TVC.  I'm betting they will.

Just how long could wildlife that dont live in the ground on in the ground survive. Animals would need rest but these walkers never have to stop

I think that wildlife would actually thrive in this type of scenario.  Less roadkill, less human intervention with their habitats, less hunting, etc... and walkers are generally slow and stupid... smaller animals have to be hard for them to catch.  I can't imagine them often being able to catch rabbits, squirrels, etc.

As for the walkers never having to stop, in the comics there is evidence that eventually they "run out of gas."  I'm a bit behind in the comics to see if this was really explained in much detail.

Maybe she comes into contact with our good friend Phillip?

Or ends up with a role in the spinoff series.

Bought my son Gorilla Grod over the weekend... he hadn't asked for any Imaginext in a while (he's 6), but he got it and played with his super heroes and playsets all day Sunday.

Middle Earth / Re: The Hobbit - Toy Line

I think the boring yellow packaging in the first line hurt the line.  It's just so bland...

I also feel that they would have been better served to release the Pale Orc in the first wave, along with one of those mountain trolls.  Perhaps one of the giant birds as well... and even a playset?  Imagine the Baggins homestead... all of that would have really made the line more interesting.

I gave my entire collection to my son.  He's got all the 3.75" figures from the first wave, adn 5- 6 each of the warg beast and goblin guy.  He keeps asking about the pale orc.  Sucks he's probably not going to be released.

As for the new TRU 5-pk, I can't believe they didn't release that with 5 new figures.  As it stands, I can't justify $30 for one new figure and the rest repacks.  Geeze.

Isn't there a MOTU film in the works?  If so, that's a whole new line of toys coming... I hope they go both 3.75" and 6" scale...  :)

I took my kids camping over the weekend, and there happened to be a Big Lots way out in the boonies.. we stopped so we could see if they had these... low and behold, they had 5 different figures.  Got my son two of them - Grizzlor and Clawful.  He is very happy so now I can quit going to these stores trying to find them.

Pass.  I'm content with the two X-Wings that I already have that are essentially the same thing.

Ok, thanks... I went ahead and hit the same three Big Lots stores again.  No sign yet, but they all now had Smurfs displays and also one store had 4 sets of the Ghostbusters 2-pks.

I usually don't do this, but I went ahead and spoke with the manager at the store that had the Ghostbusters.  She said they haven't received any He-Man toys and was not sure if they would or not.  So then I showed her a pic on my phone - she laughed and said they definitely haven't received "anything like that."  Guess I'll try again in a few more days.  I'd really like to grab a couple things for my son.

I give up.  Wasted way too many toy runs on Big Lots only to be told by another manager that they haven't gotten these in and these things are often regional.  I'm done.

Yeah - Yoda does move fairly quick in my area too.  I guess I forgot about our little green friend.
