I am 100% in as soon as I read the fine print. I've never done anything like this before but I am a nut for the Watchmen toys. I wonder how these will compare to the previous line of 6" figures.

Hope they branch out and do some weird stuff, would love a Bubastis.

Post by: McMetal on August 6, 2012, 10:20 PM: So...about two hours left to sign up, I got my order in just under the wire. I figure this is the way to go, I'm definitely going to want all of these figures and they're not going to be cheaper anywhere else.

Suck we have to wait 5 more months before the first figure ships though. The previews at SDCC for Rorschach and Dr Manhattan looked pretty sweet.

Looks like Dr Manhattan for March and then I would guess Silk Spectre for May. Woot!

Post by: McMetal on January 19, 2013, 09:42 AM: Got Rorschach yesterday in the mail...he is insanely awesome. Really a solid effort, hefty, well sculpted, precision paint apps, the whole package. The packaging is great too, really feels like you are getting something for your money. (which is not insignificant)

So glad I went in on this, hope they will keep it going beyond the initial 6 figures for this year...

Makes me wonder who will come out in that July slot...

Post by: McMetal on March 21, 2013, 08:28 PM: Dr Manhattan arrived today...not quite as thrilling as Rorschach, but a quality effort nonetheless. No accessories or anything like that, though to be fair there really aren't any that would make sense for the character.

Looking forward to Silk Spectre in May!

Nice figure, great likeness, and I love the translucent wrap over her costume, but I am still confounded by those extra leg joints. Man, those are an eyesore.

Curious if anyone has heard any buzz about this line continuing after 2013? There are still a lot of good character choices left, and with only 6 slots a year to fill, seems like they could keep it going longer if they wanted to. I hope so, I really like these.

I can't find any official announcement by Mattell, but I don't see this subscription up for renewal anywhere on their site either.

They still never formally announced the November figure but it has to be Ozymandias. Odd that he has not been shown to date.

No regrets jumping on board this train...was a great, albeit limited, run.
