Wow, I didn't realize they were out either.

Apparently the Best of, 10 and 11 all shipped simultaneously from the Canadian distributor.  I've yet to see any of the best of wave but there's lots of 10 about.  11 just arrived yesterday and I missed a goodly part of it.

My training store (when I was there) got a case of the Sentinel series in and I didn't even know it.  No chases unfortunately but it just kinda showed up out of nowhere.

Well, the Sentinel series has started to hit around here as well.  I was able to pick up Black Panther and Mr. Sinister at Target on Friday (they also had Spidey, which I got from Amazon a week or so ago).  Then, while picking up groceries at a Wal-Mart across town on Sunday, I found the entire wave.  I picked up the blue Angel, and that should finish off the Sentinel as well.  They also had Omega Red, and I was tempted to pick him up too, but since I was fortunate enough to find Gree/Bly there, I left him behind for now.  Oddly, I think this Wal-Mart was missing the "regular" versions of Cyclops/Angel, but had both of the variants.  I had the variant Cyclops in the cart too, before putting him back.  If money wasn't tight right now, I'd have picked it up too I think.  I think aside from maybe picking up Omega Red in the future, I'm set with ML stuff for the rest of the year or whenever Series 12/13 start popping up.  Should be a little while I'd think.

I found the Sentinel wave yesterday at Wal-Mart and picked them all up except Mystique (they only had one and her hand was broken). The Sentinel is definitely worth picking up all these figures to get. Great job Toy Biz!

Looks like the voting has started for the "Best Cover" over at Marvel.com.  This is supposed to coincide with a "new" upcoming line from ToyBiz.  You can vote at the link above.

I voted for the following

*Phoenix Endsong #1 (for Dark Phoenix)
*Avengers #277 (for Baron Zemo)
*Thor #337 (for Beta Ray Bill)
*X-men #1 (for Pyslocke)

All my votes were based on characters we haven't received yet or in the case of PES#1, don't want to pay an arm and a leg for.

When the time comes, I'll vote for:

*Amazing Spider-man #238 (the only tough choice seeing as we're already getting classic Hobgoblin.  The other choices I don't care about.  Pick was based on Spidey being my favorite character)
*Cloak & Dagger #1 (duh)
*Spider-woman #1 (double duh)
*Infinity Gauntlet #3 (for Adam Warlock and some of the other non released characters)

Too bad Kingpin isn't on one of the covers.   >:(

Who is this kingpin you speak of? ::)

A character of such low importance that nobody in their right mind would want him.

I'm hoping he's part of the Famous Battle choices.

Dude, since when are kids the ones buying these?  The spidey figures that are packed with the villains, yes.  Fat white dudes, no.

Still, it ain't fun having web blaster spiderman fight spin 'n kick spiderman, sometimes you need a baddy, even if he is fat and white.  Besides, I believe some kids can actually read the comics, not just play video games :P

The Sentinel series showed up at my Zellers today - there's some very good looking figures in there.  I had the Mr Sinister and Omega Red in my hands until I thought better of it.

Regardless, they sure looked good.

These Cover things were in the latest Toyfare, basically they are new statues recreating the Famous Covers of Marveldom.  The first two are a 6" Spidey and Green Goblin and a 9" Tall Fantastic Four #1 with the Mole Man and Monster and the 4.

I don't think the figures are in ML scale at all...the scenes were described as 6" and 9" tall :-[

I dont think that the thing that we are voting on is going to be these statue diorama things. Its just a feeling, i hope it ends up being box sets or something.

More rumors about future waves....these found at the Fwooshnet forums.  Here is what is being rumored:

Wave 14
First App. Iron Man
Longshot
Baron Zemo
Luke Cage
Psylocke
Falcon

Wave 15
Mandarin
Beta Ray Bill
Spider-Woman
Moonknight
Thor Buster Iron Man
Quicksilver
Wasp
Captain Marvel

Take with a big ole grain of salt at this point, but something to talk about either way I guess.  On a side note, it seems that ML 10 has been showing up full force, at least around here.  I took a look at the pegs on Sunday when picking up some groceries, and they had about 8-10 Black Panthers and a couple FA Spideys.  When looking this morning again, while picking up the ROTS DVD, they had three rows of pegs overflowing with the entire wave.  Hopefully everyone will be able to find what they are looking for.
