The "excuse" around PIttsburgh that we're still at $2.29 at best, is that the gas was bought months ago so they're charging what they charge so they don't lose out...  Hmmm, I guess every time the gas went up $.10 a day though it was because they got new gas shipments in daily? :)  Yeeeaaahhhh...  riiiightttt...

Buncha jerkoffs.

I've got to fill up here but I'm reluctant to.  I'm thinking $5 is all I'm gonna put in right now till we get below $2...  It should happen soon I'm thinking since other areas surrounding Pitt seem to be dipping lower.  I just know when I fill up at $2.29 that's the day I drive past and it's $1.99 and I'm pissed.

Just outside our city, a station at Sherwood Park was spotted with 73.9 per litre.

Salt Lake City is still at $2.04, they must have bought it a couple of months ago and then resold it with a markup to Jesse's station.

Pittsburgh has one of the lowest cost of living rates in the country I believe, at least for a mid-size city, and we're still at $2.20-$2.25 a gallon...  It's really pissing me off.  Fortunately I am doing less driving right now during the week but I mean holy **** this is getting really annoying.  >:(  Watching other regions around me, and we're just seemingly getting hosed...  I mean you can go right across the border into Ohio and get it for under $2 a gallon right now...  WTF?

The Democratic controlled Congress is introducing legislation to reinstate the national 0.15 cent/gallon gas tax.  President Bush is likely to veto this for the next 2 years though, thank goodness.  Gas is high enough and it's a pretty hair-brained scheme to think the tax is going to change consumption, it's just gonna take more money out of our wallets.

I'll be quiet now, just thought that this was relevant to gas prices.

Part of what you see in PA or NY may be your state's gas tax over another state's tax
