The blind boxes would be a great way to get rid of all of those Rose Ticos.

The funny thing is, I would take a translucent sparkly Ben Kenobi without batting an eye!

Reminder for this one since it's not a HasbroPulse item...

"Available at the Entertainment Earth Booth #2343 at San Diego Comic-Con and exclusively on Target.com in limited quantities following the convention."

Target has a placeholder on the site if you'd like to bookmark it (says available 7/21).

Thanks Jeff.  I didn't bother jumping on the Retro wave right away figuring they'd be easy to get in stores and now I'm still looking, so it'll be nice to try to be on top of this one.  The only hitch for me is that I'm flying on Sunday.   :-\

I hope that's the case, but thinking about things like the Lego Vader Bust and the Golden Girls 4-Pack... Con Exclusives that go to Trarget  have a habit of disappearing quick.

I wasn't sure about this, but the thing that finally made up my mind was thinking I might get some super funky lightsaber/cape colors that would be fun to play around with on the real figures. So now I want one, but only if it is readily available on the day. I'm not gonna go crazy chasing it or pay scalper prices later.

I have to ask. Pete Fett, did you have a small stroke when you saw they are mixing and matching the color combos on this things limbs?

Note-I did see your post below so I see you're not really that interested, but couldn't help but think of your Droid flight.

This is the water, and this is the well. Drink full, and descend. The horse is the white of the eyes, and dark within

Why is Hasbro showing this Vader in four different color configurations?  God help us all.

Why is Hasbro showing this Vader in four different color configurations?  God help us all.

I think a lot of folks missed the note at Toy Fair that this figure would be randomly assembled so there are thousands of combinations possible.  At a minimum, assuming there are only six colors (blue, yellow, green, purple, red, orange) and 7 parts (head, lightsaber, r arm, l arm, r leg, l leg, torso) that's around 46,656 combinations.

Adam Pawlus said on his twitter that Hasbro's only rule was matching colors can't be on parts next to each other, so the number is less than 46k but still a damn ton of possible configurations.

I so don't get the hate. Fits in with what this is meant to be. A whatever plastics we have for each part prototype. So now everyone's will be different.

I'm acting like I wasn't a completist once with that comment, but hates a strong word.
