Title: Turbo Tank/Juggernaut Question
Post by: CHEWIE on May 27, 2005, 11:54 AM
Does anyone remember back several months ago, we were discussing an ET toy from the early 80s that resemebled the Turbo Tank?  I am trying to remember what it is called, as I want to try and find one to customize into a Turbo Tank.  Please help me.   :)

Found it - it's called Big Trak, made in 1979 -

I wonder how big it is... I think I might try to find on ebay.

The GIJ APC is really small.  Go with the Rolling Thunder over that, if you go that route.  Rolling Thunder was a HUGE vehicle.  I remember blowing my cousins up with illegal fireworks and gasoline.

No, I'm not making that up either...  It was a real Beavis & Butthead moment, but nobody got hurt thankfully.

ahh my favorite GI Joe toy ever. when I saw the Turbo Tank in ROTS, I instantly recognized it as the APC. JJ's right though, it's way too small to work for a custom Turbo Tank.

I think I had one of these when I was a kid!  I don't think it's big enough to customize into a turbo-tank.
