Star Wars Universe / Star Wars and Earth
« on: May 30, 2003, 10:20 AM »
Ok, if you've ever seen Star Trek, you know that all of this takes place in the future as related to Earth, and it plays a pretty big role in the Star Trek universe

My question, does Earth exist in one form or another in the Star Wars universe?

The only problem is, Luke Skywalker never went to the Quick-E Mart...

You could end up making lots of enormous environments with those as well, like a big scale cantina, Jabbas Palace, Death Star, Star Destroyer, Hoth, Tatooine, Endor, Dagobah....... etc......

Saga '02-'04 / Re: How Long Will Hasbro Make 3 3/4"
« on: May 30, 2003, 09:44 AM »
Can you really make 3 3/4" any longer? Because then it wont be 3 3/4". so I anticipate that as long as they are making 3 3/4" in figures, they will remain in 3 3/4" scale

The Original Trilogy / Re: Where'd the AT-AT go?
« on: May 29, 2003, 06:57 PM »
Blah blah blah, all explanations for those who cant deal with the fact that the Ewoks are a superior race...

The ATATs would have been easier for our furry little heroes to destroy than the ATSTs. Take out one leg, and the thing is useless. Not to mention there is no close perimeter fire power on an ATAT, so all the Ewoks had to do is swing a dead tree into one of the legs and disable it, they could then shimmy up the sides, or leap from trees and gain entry.

A blaster is no match for a good rock at your side...

I ended up watching about 6 episodes last night. I thought it was dumb at first, but kept coming back for more.

There is some really hilarious stuff! When was talking to the chemist about different states of matter, he starts talking about thinking you have a gas state and it ends up being solid. "I had a little solid in my hillfigers". lmao! Im so suprised people play along with it as well as they do, but you can tell some folks get pretty ticked off. The Borads Guide to America, where he meets the historical actors "So you are a slave? Can I buy you? Do you like me? You made a time machine?" I was laughing so hard I couldnt take it

Im about half and half between here and Rebelscum forums, although I find myself spending less and less time over there. My main interests are other collectibles and props, which tends to keep me at RS. If it wasnt for that, Id probably have left long ago.

I also spent a little time in the MuppetCentral forums, as Im a huge fan of the Muppets! :)

Other Collectibles / Re: Kotobukiya Darth Vader
« on: May 28, 2003, 03:14 PM »
The Koto kits are all very nice, but not exactly compatible with the Marmit kits. Marmits are more like the 12 inch figures, these are slightly smaller, and similar to rotocast figures (but much higher quality).

Koto hasnt released a new Star Wars kit in a few months now, but have just released, or will soon release, some pretty cool looking Matrix Reloaded kits.

So far from Koto, we have got:
Vader
Anakin (AOTC)
Jango
Mace and Yoda (AOTC)
Obi Wan (AOTC)
Clone Trooper
Clone Trooper Captain
Clone Trooper Commander

Saga '02-'04 / Re: Looking at a Galaxy far, far,....away 2004
« on: May 28, 2003, 02:30 PM »
How about a ton more Ewoks, Chief Chirpa, Paploo, Romba, Warok, Teek, Mommy Ewok with Baby, etc etc etc  A 12 pack would be awesome!

I like your style! :)

Star Wars Alien Packs: Each pack comes loaded with 10-12 aliens of one species, and tons of accessories! We could get Ewoks, Jawas, Gungans, Geonosians, Catina Aliens, Outlander Club Aliens........

Maybe we need to start an Ewok appreciate thread! :) I love those furry little cannibals
