Got the newest issue of Star Wars Insider, and there is some new toy coverage. One of the new items pictured is a Boba Fett Unleashed! This thing freaking rocks! It features him blasting away from the Sarlacc, with its tentacle wrapped around his legs. This is a very cool piece! Sorry, no scanner though!

Just got my new issue of Star Wars Insider, and guess what ad is on the back page! The Mace Windu AOTC saber replica from Master Replicas! No dates listed, but this definately confirms it. This piece looks so freaking cool!

I asked the Frito rep when he was in a store. He walked out to his truck and unloaded tons of cool crap. He also gave me lots of cool stuff when Episode 1 came out.

I've found it harder to deal with stores, even though I still have a lot of luck. If you can find them when they are setting stuff up, or find reps setting stuff up, you usually have better luck.

In my dark days of "Im not into Star Wars anymore", I got rid of so many store displays :( Didnt sell em, or give em away, I burnt then in the trash..... If I could only go back! I had standups, large game displays, allllll kinds of neat crap

Cool, it was him I met at Midnight Madness. Nice guy, all though that was the only time I ever really talked to him

Saga '02-'04 / Re: Silver Fett and Clonetrooper coming...

Everyone is really getting worked up over the Silver Fett (if in fact that's what it is, and while I believe it is indeed that figure, I will still contest that it has yet to be officially confirmed). I feel pretty confident that we will be able to get this figure, inexpensively, through other means. I've heard a few very trustworthy remarks from some people that are involved directly with a group that could help us get these figures, but Im not going to say what, or who, I dont want to start anything ;)

So, dont worry too much at least until its released :)

Definately good news that the Muppets are back in the hands of the Hensons! Now, if they could just get rid of Disney.... ;)

Got my Swedish Kitchen set, and let me tell you, this is by and far the coolest toy I have ever owned! Pictures dont do it justice, seeing it in the packaging doesnt either. You need to get this thing out and play around with it and check out all the cool stuff with it. The detail is unsurpassed! Palisades has definately set the bar very high this time...

Even if you dont collect the Muppet toys, I have to say that this is a must have for any fan! Even if its just the only piece you have, it looks fantastic anywhere, almost like a miniature replica. Of course, I'll warn you now... Pick up this, and you'll probably get addicted! :)

Well, time to go watch some more Time Life Muppet Show DVDs! :)

Ah yes, I see now. I have the three lifesize Frito Lay standees (Anakin, Clone, Jango) and am quite happy with them. I also have a large lobby display, but no room for it :(

Cool find though!

Is the Bounty Hunter portion just stuck on or printed? I cant tell from here, it looks like the ad guys just took a standard AOTC Jango Fett standee, and plastered the Bounty Hunter logo on him?

Cool, nonetheless ;)

July 9th, one week after T3:ROTM

Im soooooooooooo excited about this movie! I cant get enough of the trailer, I've been watching it constantly. At first I thought this would be total crap, but definately changed my mind after seeing the preview

It makes me more excited about The Haunted Mansion as well, I cant wait to see what approach they take to that movie...

From the looks of the trailer, other than namesake, I dont think this will be very close to the ride. Maybe at its core, but I have my doubts that they will try to follow the same ride as the story. Still excited though! :)

Gentle Giant / Re: Busts
« on: May 3, 2003, 09:06 PM »
Ive ordered it, but this one has yet to be released. It should be released sometime this month methinks, as the Clone busts are coming next month.

Its definately a cool looking bust, and Im very impressed with all of the other busts made by Gentle Giant.

If you want a Boba Bust, you might also consider the rather cool looking Legends in 3D bust, which can usually be found on Ebay for just a bit more than this mini bust, and it is about twice the size. Its part of a series of 5 busts made by Legends in 3D, the others being Cantina Band Member, Greedo, Tusken Raider and Emperor Palpatine (which I have yet to find, grrrr)

Im definately going to suggest Sony, especially if you're a mediaphile. Not only are these probably some of the most aesthetically pleasing computers on the market, but their prices are competitive, and they are very reliable machines.
