It makes more sense financially for Hasbro to give us one head at a time as a running change.  Otherwise, they're shipping out two craniums for every one body, meaning they're wasting money on the plastic for every duplicate.

Don't they do that for some of the Joes though? I thought I remembered seeing a couple of those that ship with alternate heads.

They might do that for the Joes.  But look at the Star Wars group's history.  They did the running change with the ROTS Royal Guards, the ROTS Wookiee Warriors and the TSC Endor Rebels.  If they hold true to pattern they'll do a running change with the Hoth Rebel, too.

I saw this for $60 and I left it.  It's tough to rationalize spending that much on another TIE Fighter.

This image shows Joclad Danva with more hair

And if the theme of these figures is the Arena battle, the name would probably lean towards Danva.  He's one of the arena battle participants.  Cin Drallig is not.

As for the other Jedi?  The only image I can find of a similar arena battle Jedi is this one, and he isn't given a name.  At least not by Wookieepedia.

I'm thinking the one ponytail/topknot Jedi is either of Cin Drallig or Joclad Danva (seen below)

These are either part of wave 7 or the Target exclusive 2-packs.  And since Coleman Trebor seems to be a part of that I think we can safely say that it's themed as a Battle of Geonosis or Arena Battle 2-pack series.

We've seen what appear to be 5 Jedi like this so far.
-Coleman Trebor
-Kit Fisto
-Rotha del Masona
-Joclad Danva
-Unknown Jedi (short dark hair)

Plus the seller was also showing Geonosian warrior and Destroyer Droid prototypes.  That gets me thinking that it's Jedi VS Seperatists.

As for the younglings?  I think they might be part of the AOTC wave as a 2-pack.

It looks like Hasbro is picking up where they left off with the TSC Endor Rebel troops.  They recognize the need for some individuality, and we're getting a running change on the Hoth trooper.  NICE!

I think one of the Hoth trooper heads has the big walrus mustache that you see on one of the Hoth rebels.  The other one looks clean shaven.  Plus, it looks like there are two different hats as well.  I like running changes like this in army builders.  I'll probably be buying at least 4 of each running change.  And with the different hats you can probably do some mixing and matching to break things up so that the Hoth rebel army doesn't look like a bunch of clones.

Dallas Cowboys released Adam Pacman Jones...  1 down, 50 more to go.

Now if I can just frame Wade and Tony No-Mo for giving TO a "Nancy Kerrigan" that will be 3 more out of the way.

Addition by Subtraction.

You can send Terrell Owens over to the Giants, we'll take him right now.  I'd give him 3 years $25 million in a heartbeat.

As a Giants fan....I never want to see TO in a Giants uniform.

Same here.  Thanks, but no thanks.  There's no need to pursue a guy who's a proven cancer in the clubhouse.  Especially after the whole Plaxico Burress situation.

Matt...don't go pinning your hopes on David Tyree.  The guy has been a solid special teams player and made one spectacular catch.  But other than that his career has not been spectacular.

Personally, I'm disgusted to see the Giants lose at home to Philly.  But the writing was on the wall.  They managed that win against the Panthers, but were not playing solid football leading into the playoffs.

The Vintage Collection / Re: Big Items of the Future!

AT-TE's and Falcons are on clearance everywhere around me at Targets and WMs.  Does this bode well for the future of large vehicles?  Did they sell enough to recoup their cost?  Do retailers know there's more big vehicles coming so they're trying to make room?  Obviously Joe and TF should have a larger footprint this year - SW still has the CW cartoon so I can't see them scaling back shelf space.

That may just be a localized issue for you.  A lot of the reports I've been seeing locally as well as nationally indicate that sales were good.  AT-TE's sold through well, and Falcons sold too, but they're lingering a little.  I think that's price generated.

I don't know that we're going to see a huge shift in shelfspace for the GI Joe or Transformers movies.  There have been a number of movie based toy lines that have not performed well in recent years.  Transformers actually did reasonably well for the first movie.  GI Joe might be more of question mark for Hasbro.  The Joes have a big fan base, but will that translate to the kids?  Right now I've only seen about 4 feet of shelf space for the Joes at TRU stores.   And that's in an aisle that's totally devoted to military figures and toys.

As for Star Wars at retail?  The line is still one of the best performers in the boys toys category.  And with the success of the cartoon network series Star Wars is going to be more at the forefront.  Especially with kids getting into the Clone Wars line in a big way.  Star Wars may lose it's feature store at TRU stores to another movie, but I expect it to maintain a significant ammount of shelf space.

Here are some that I think might be cool.

The Bounty Hunters: Kenix Kil
Kir Kanos as Kenix Kil & Tav Kennede

REPUBLIC #37 - The Stark Hyperspace War Pt 2
Jedi Master Tyvokka & Iaco Stark

Jango Fett - Open Seasons #3
Jango Fett & Dooku - Jedi Master

That's just for starters.

I never cease to be amazed by my fellow Northeasterners.  Snow is a semi-regular occurrance in these parts.  But somehow people always forget how to drive in the stuff.  Amazing.

It looks like a decent wave.  I'm not totally crazy about Luke and Leia being in the wave to begin with, but they seem decently done.  Even though they gave Luke his lightsaber.  ;D

Needa - Finally a good Imperial Officer.  And Captain Needa finally gets his due.

Hoth Rebel - Very nice.  The sculpt looks far better than the Saga version.  And well articulated.  But it looks like the lower portion of the coat was cut off.  I wonder if there's  supposed to be a softgoods extension to the coat.

Ugnaughts - Very cool to see both of them.  They look good, even though the image has them out of scale with the other figures.  But I'm still confused about Hasbro's response, saying that we'd only get one.  Are they going to do this as a running change, or will there be a 2-pack?

Emporer - Monkey faced emporer it is!  And damn, is it ugly.

Luke - The head sculpt is actually pretty good.  The open wrist is cool.  Him getting the hand tweaked by 2-1B was the coolest part of that scene, IMO.  But the lightsaber?  LOL!

Leia - I honestly would have rather seen a Hoth Leia resculpt.  But it makes sense to release this Leia as a companion to Luke in this wave.

Saw a couple of the new comic 2-packs today.  Wild Bill vs Scrap Iron was okay, but I was really impressed to see the Hard Master w/ Ninja Snake Eyes.
