I like wave 2, but wave 3 may be the greatest wave of action figures ever.

Seriously?  I like almost any Legends wave over DC W3.   :-X

Reynolds is an awesome choice.  He's proved himself as an action hero and his comebacks & one-liners in Blade 3 totally reminded me of Spiderman, who totally remindes me of Deadpool's wisecracking.

Other Toy Lines / Re: 2008: What Are You Collecting?

Hoping to cut back big this year:

Star Wars: Sticking to just Galactic Heroes & Hasbro.  Still lots of stuff coming out this year, but should be fewer figs than '07.  Hoping to find the strength to skip the new animated line.  Really looking forward to all the two-packs, though  I wish most weren't exclusives.   ::)

Transformers: I still like my alternators better than the classics coming out and don't even like Galvatron that much.  Might have to go back and buy a MP Megatron and will have to get a MP Grimlock if I can

Marvel: Couple of Wave 4 figs of interest and will probably get the Elektra/Ronin 2-pack.  New She-Hulk looks pretty good and will probably get most of the Iron Man line.  Still undecided on the 4" line without having seen them.

DC: 4" line looks good - might get a handful of these.  The 6" Wonder Woman looks like a keeper too.

GIJoe: Baroness - just getting a few of the females for customs

I'm hoping to get a Wonder Woman, so you can have my spare BAF from her if that helps.  :-\

Here it shows a new head (with comm headset) and possibly new lower arms as she's wearing gloves.

That Leia looks great.  I am looking forward to the Legacy figs more than any, but I super impressed with the comic packs due out this year.  :o

Hall of Justice / Re: DC Universe Infinite Heroes
« on: February 18, 2008, 09:46 PM »
It looks like Mattel has a pretty expansive 3 3/4" line coming up as well, known as Infinite Heroes.  They don't look quite as detailed as the larger figures, but seem to be decently articulated and include figures like Commissioner Gordon right off the bat.

I had heard of this, but didn't get any details - thanks for the post!  Not bad, though I won't be buying many with Marvel doing the same thing.

Speaking of DC news - we had the Bat-Cycle from the new Batman movie on display at work today.  It was roped off, but they let kids hop on and take pictures.  Apparently it is THE real cycle from the new Dark Knight movie.  Pretty impressive, thhough I don't know how you would turn with those fat tires.

I have not been reading the storyline but Skrull Elektra

U-G-L-I.  I've been reading the storyline and I am not getting one of those!  Awesome pic of Ronin in the same folder though!  I was going to skip him/her/it, but after seeing this - IwannitIwannit!
