Frosted Flakes w/ Banana and ice cold milk with a touch of half and half :-*
-
I'm having a flashback to another
forum place ;).
Frankenberry - only available during Halloween.
-
Raisin Bran Crunch. Yum. :D
I also go for Frosted Flakes, Lucky Charms, and regular Raisin Bran.
-
Cocoa Krispies...
I ususlly take them straight, but when the box starts getting low (and I know there is no grocery trip in the forseeable future) I have been known to cut them down with regular rice Krispies to make them last a bit longer. :P
-

Yeah, very funny. Dumbasss! ::)
As for me, Golden Grahams all the way...
-
Hmm...I like mini-wheats whenever I eat breakfast which is very rare. But, what I really like is WAFFLES!!!!
-
I don't really have a favroite one but a favorite few: Apple Jacks, Cocoa Krispies, Fruity Pebbles, Frosted Flakes. Heck put me down for all of them. :P
-
Chocolate Lucky Charms and Frosted Flakes.
-
Kellogg's Red Berries- Yummy... But I also have in the pantry: Cookie Crisp, Count Chocula, Special K, Frosted Flakes, and HoneyNut Cheerios.
-
Rice Chex with a ton of sugar on it. Yummy!!!
or 20 year old C-3POs :P

I can't wait until AFA starts grading cereal! :-X
-
Either Rice Chex or Frosted Flakes, whenever I feel like eating breakfast.
-
or 20 year old C-3POs :P
I can't wait until AFA starts grading cereal! :-X
If they can grade a loose figure, anything is possible. ::)

That's it, you're divorcing Jay and we're gorging ourselves to death on Frankenberry.
Any and all donations to the Canadian Frankenberry society are most welcome this Halloween season ;)
However in the absence of sweet strawberry goodness I'll opt for Frosted mini-wheats. I used to lean towards Shreddies, but since there's actually less calories per bowl in frosted mini-wheats (I **** you not) that's my choice.

Well the site I pulled that pic from, has a price chart for C-3PO's based on the mask on the back of the box. So there must be a market for them.
My favorite cereal is Apple Jacks
:D
-
-Cap'N Crunch
-Boo Berry
-Coa Coa Pebbles
-Apple Jacks
That Revenge Of The Sith cereal was ok though... I liked it.
-
That Revenge Of The Sith cereal was ok though... I liked it.
Not as good as the AOTC stuff though. I was pleased enough with ROTS cereal but longed for the other stuff.
-
Man, my dog wouldn't even eat that AOTC cereal, and he eats his own crap.
-
Man, my dog wouldn't even eat that AOTC cereal, and he eats his own crap.
Just to clarify I ate the cereal, not my own crap as Ben is implicating >:( (last time I send you anything)
-
I thought the AOTC was the same as the ROTS?
-
monster cereals rock, I also like fruit loops, cocoa pebbles, fruity pebbles, Super sugar crisp, raisin brand(post),berry berry kix and Trix! ;D :o ;) :D :)

Uh oh. :o

Frosted Mini Wheats
Rice Krispies w/ a banana
Life
All with whole milk, none of that skim, 1 %, 2% **** for me.
-
Honey Nut Cheerios, Lucky Charms, Golden Grahams and Frosted Mini Wheats are my favorites.
-
My favorite? Chocolate Frosted Sugar Bombs, of course! You can tell it's a good cereal because it turns the milk brown! :)
(obscure joke number 1)
Or there's always Krusty-Os (now with flesh eating bacteria in every box!), but just watch out for the Jagged Metal Krusty-O.
(slightly less obscure joke number 2)
Seriously, I'm a Froot Loops fan, although I don't really eat cereal most of the time. I'll make it through a box, start having flashbacks to the Han Stormtrooper debacle, and not eat a bowl for another three years. :)
-
OOPs I forgot to add lucky charms to my list( although the name suggest IMO something that reflects another lifestyle=***, I'll make the exception here because it's sooo sugary tasy good)
I really love to hate these cereals-I can't eat just one bowl- it's something about the sugar..it makes me eat multiple bowls-it fools your/my stomach
-
NO kidding. . .I could sit and eat a whole box of Fruity Pebbles.
Fave kid cerals:
Fruity Pebbles.
Coco Crispies
Pops
Lucky Charms
Boo Berry
Frosted Flakes
and believe it or not, I LOVE King Vitaman.
Fave grown up -
Shredded wheat - there real deal. .three biscuits to a sleeve.
Grape Nuts
Grape Nut flakes
Smart Start
Corn Flakes
Total
Raisin Bran
-
Fav's: Special K, Grape Nuts, Post Raisin Bran and Kashi Go Lean Crunch. Also in the pantry: Cheerios (required if you have kids), Total Strawberry, Rice Crispies, Total, Shredded Wheat, Corn Flakes, Graham OH'S (I think that's what they're called), Tiger Power, some sort of organic honey flakes and whatever is on sale, (we're cereal freaks in our house -- my husband chases nearly every meal with a bowl of cereal). Notice the lack of kids/sugary cereal -- the 3 year-old doesn't nead anymore help in the hyped-up energy department ;D
-
My favorite? Chocolate Frosted Sugar Bombs, of course! You can tell it's a good cereal because it turns the milk brown! :)
hehehe... I love it... My favourite is "Math Atheist"...

"You know why you shake like that? Vitamin deficiency, I'll bet."

It has to be Fruity Pebbles. Nothing says awsome like a rainbow jumble in red milk in the morning.

I'll let him know...I am sure you'll find me along with a truckload of FB by week's end in your driveway ;)

When I'm being "healthy" - Cheerios/Honey Nut Cheerios, Wheaties
Eating "Sugary" - Lucky Charms, Froot Loops, Frosted Flakes
-
Boo Berry. 'Tis a shame it only comes out during Halloween.
-
Right now, it's either the Pirates of the Caribbean cereal (Jack Sparr O's, as I like to call them) or Frosted Flakes. Overall, the cereal I had to have enjoyed the most was the Star Wars Episode 2/ Shrek 2 cereal. Mmmm... food.
-
You keep crunching. We'll make more.

Lucky bastard.

Frosted Cheerios. Oh yeah, baby.
-
I'll pick some up for you next time I'm down there, if you like.
-
I'm sorry to say, that Boo Berry ghost looks stoned. ;)
-
I just had a bowl of Superman Cereal (Life Cereal with Superman Shaped Honey Puffs), it was dang good!
-
Anyone tried Fruity Cheerios (http://breakfastbowl.blogspot.com/2006/07/new-fruity-cheerios.html) yet?
-
I tried the Fruity Cheerios this week. Not bad, actually. I sort of miss the extra sugar present in Froot Loops but it just seems a lot healthier and the taste isn't that bad...I say give them a whirl if you like Froot Loops or Fruity Pebbles
-
With blueberries in season, I've been eating a lot of corn flakes with blueberries and bannanas.
yummy.

What's everyone think of this cereal franchise?
http://www.cereality.com/intro.html
I guess I don't understand why someone would pay $4 to eat a bowl of cereal.

The same reason someone would pay $4 to drink a cup of coffee, I guess :-\

I finally tried me some Fruity Cheerios recently, and am happy to report that they are indeed dee-lish. It's almost as if regular Cheerios and Fruit Loops got together and made a baby.
Recommended!

Normally I might try this just for the fun of it. But I'm not going to the airport just to go to one of these joints.
As for me, I was a Cheerios guy growing up, and I have to say that for some crazy reason I like Grape Nuts now. Weird.

I think that it's almost as random and strange as my TV turning on by itself after it's been off for two hours. But that's not the point...
People aren't paying four dollars for a bowl of cereal. They're paying four dollars for a Cereality bowl of cereal. What is the difference? I have no idea. All I do know is that I want some cereal now.
-
they're paying to mix corn flakes with fruity pebbles with sugar smacks.
-
;D It don't matter to me I get what's on sale and have coupons for.

Had to bring this one up from the past, after discussing it with some friends lately again. Anyone's favorites changed?
I eat cereal every day, and honestly, most of the time I eat Wheaties. But, I'm ashamed to admit, this year I had Captain Crunch for the first time in my life, and really enjoyed those too. We didn't get a lot of "kid" cereals in my house growing up, so I'm discovering them a lot more now. Other cereals in regular rotation in our house:
Cheerios (and Honey Nut)
Lucky Charms
Froot Loops
Cinnamon Toast Crunch
Honey Bunches of Oats
Frosted Flakes
-
I'm old, I look for fiber content now.
I refuse to pay more than $2 for a 11 or 12 oz box/bag of cereal. Sometimes Big Lots has good cereal, like Malt O Meal brands, cheap.
-
I can't find booberry this year like in Halloween's past.
-
I can't find booberry this year like in Halloween's past.
Where are you looking? I could probably tell you where its in distribution near you. In addition to the core Monsters cereals, General Mills brought back Fruit Brute and Fruity Yummy Mummy for Halloween this year, so you should have five to choose from depending on where you shop.
-
My six year old is obsessed with Yummy Mummy. I told him to never mix his monster cereals. I hear bad things can happen.
-
I've been on a Frosted Mini-Wheats kick for years now.
-
Still Cracklin' Oat Bran. Big fan of peanut butter Puffins though.
-
I can't find booberry this year like in Halloween's past.
Check Target. I got some by the county airport.
-
Resse's Peanut butter Puffs for me.
-
Walgreen's has the Halloween cereals too, $3 a box.
Were fruit brute and yummy mummy really classic cereals? I NEVER heard of those before this year. They both seem pretty close to frankenberry.
Chocolate Cheerios, while an abomination against nature, taste pretty good.
-
I got my one box at target yeah... None out home to just grab a box tho. :( last year giant eagle had them but not this year for some reason. I'm at Diane's now so ill check harmar target.
I can't think where a walgreens is near me to look. Hmmm.

Negatory on fruit brute and yummy mummy. Only Frankenberry, Booberry and Count Chocula are vintage.
Is Frankenberry about? Anyone wanna mail some in exchange for some pemmican (or cash)?

All five are actually vintage. Maybe your memory is failing you old-timer. ;)
"In October 1971, the first two cereals in the line were introduced, Count Chocula (originally called "Dr. Count Chocula") and the strawberry-flavored Franken Berry. In February 1972, Franken Berry cereal included dye that turned some children's feces pink due to an inability to break down the heavily dyed breakfast food, a symptom sometimes referred to as "Frankenberry Stool."Boo Berry, reputedly the first blueberry-flavored cereal, was released in 1973, and Fruit Brute the following year. Fruit Brute was discontinued by 1984 and replaced in 1987 by Fruity Yummy Mummy, which also had a short life as it was discontinued in 1993."
-
BAh, Amerikan company no release in Canada. Racists.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
-
Is that a picture of Eric stoltz? Pulp fiction?
-
Stoltz, yes; Pulp Fiction, no. It's a rare still from The Big Lebowski. Stoltz was originally cast as Jeff Lebowski and shot many scenes as The Dude before the filmmakers decided to go in a different direction and recasted the role with Jeff Bridges.
-
I don't remember Fruit Brute at all. You'd think there'd have been commercials. Maybe it was a regional release.
-
One of the "new" old cereals is made up this year for the first time and was voted on iirc... The others were brought back, and frankenberry, booberry, and chocula, come back as they do every year.
-
No, as stated above all five have been in market for 5-6 years or more. The Count, Frank, and Blue have been in mainline distribution for decades. The other two have been out of market for a long time, but were brought back just this year. They will stay around if sales are strong enough, which is to say you won't see them again by Christmas.
-
I remember getting Fruity Yummy Mummy back in the day.
Last time I had a monster cereals it just seemed like sugar, air and food coloring. Maybe it always it was.
-

You mean like this one? (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aR3vQbuqej4")
-
I think I have only seen the "Big Three" in one store besides Target. Target is probably the best place to find all five. They also exclusively have the retro packaging at Target. For whatever reason, they have not been stocked in the cereal aisle. I have seen them either at the end caps at the registers or in the Halloween section.
I had never heard of Brute or Mummy before this year either. I remember seeing the other three on the shelves. Boo Berry did seem to be pretty scarce most of the time.
-
I think the two less familiar brands are limited release for Halloween unless sales surpass expectations for some reason.

Maybe it was the sales thing I was thinking of but I thought there was some 6th one... Something "new" but made to look like it was one of the old ones.

Bride of Frankenberry?
Creature from the Black Lagoober?
-
Say, do you like chocolate? Do you like peanut butter? Do you like Cheerios? If so, give Chocolate Peanut Butter Cheerios a try.

Hmmm... I've not heard of this Cheerio iteration... I will have to check it out.
My kids now swear by Krave cereal... its a chocolate / graham cracker cereal. They eat dry, right of the the box as a snack these days.
-

Oh yes. These are awesome. I also grabbed peanut butter chocolate Shreds. Pretty good. I am a sucker for peanut butter.

Nothing will ever compare to Fruity Pebbles.
-
I always was more of a coco pebbles guy. But didn’t like coco puffs. 🤔
I’m having a craving for some kind of cereal and I’m craving several actually but need to narrow it down. Not sure if I want captain crunch, Cookie Crisp, or Apple Jacks.
-
I've been trying to make it through a number of cereals I never really had growing up. We never seemed to have many "kids" cereals in our house growing up, so I'm making up for some of that now.
That being said, my current go to cereals are Raisin Bran Crunch Apple Strawberry (so good), and Cinnamon Toast Crunch, which may be one of the all-time greats.
-
REESE'S PUFFS.
I'M SHOUTING BECAUSE THEY ARE GOOD.
