Mine have already shipped. That was quicker than I expected.

Hi guys. Thought I would throw this out there. I need all of series 3 except for Han Solo in Carbonite, and I also need Dengar, 4-LOM, and Zuckuss. I don't really need the chases. If you have some of these to sell, please PM me. Thanks. This would complete my collection of regular Star Wars kubricks.

I was browsing at BBTS and saw that the preorder for these had already sold out, which of course made me panic even though I wasn't even sure I wanted them. So I checked ebay and found a "buy it now" for $48 (and $12) shipping. Plus I used the live.com 20% discount deal (google it if you want to know more) to make the final price $38.40 + shipping. I couldn't resist at that price.

Those images posted earlier look quite nice, I must say.

Thanks for the info. Do you have a pic of yoda with a 12 inch figure.

Here he is in my display case.

I so want the Jawa VCD! My Wicket shipped out yesterday.

And i asked this a while ago but never really got an answer. Was the Yoda VCD in scale with the 12 inch Sideshow figures?
Yoda is in scale with 12" figures (more or less). Wicket appears to be slightly smaller than he should be.

Wow, those VCDs look awesome, and the 400% Indy seemed like a certainty with news of the 400% Golden Idol Be@rbrick, but it's nice to see. I may get that.

I question whether these are going to be a normal blind-boxed series with chases, etc. Medicom doesn't normally show the chases at exhibitions, do they?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they're going to be keychains, which turns me off, personally. It's stupid to put keychains on things like this, although not as stupid as the Blister-exclusive Alien vs. Predator snap kits I have (basically 4" scale Alien and Predator figures that were sold with a keychain part you could attach). Not only are they huge for keychains (unless you want to make a "bathroom key" or something) they were also very very fragile, so there's no way you could actually use it as a keychain. I guess making them keychains (or, knowing Japan, more like cell phone or bag charms) makes them more appealing to the general public than if they were just little figures.

Maybe it's supposed to be a holo-vader?

Yeah, that's the guy who bought from me. I can't help but think that he's setting up a store or something, although at the prices he's paying it's hard to believe he could make a profit.

They're nice, but when people start hoping that they get down to $100, I have to say that they're quite simply way too expensive for what they are. I'd buy them if they were the same price as a kubrick/be@rbrick set, but otherwise it's an easy pass.

I just got all of these in the mail today (with the exception of the 100% Alien Kubrick, so I thought I'd show them off. The other two figures are the NECA Aliens (which I heartily recommend).

I also found out just now that they're releasing a 400% version of the Aliens Kubrick, as well as a "1979 Alien" kubrick. What's the difference between that and the SDCC-exclusive alien?

If you look closely at the name tags in the "bobblehead" picture, it looks like it might say something like "Bobblehead Darth Maul" or "Bobblehead Darth Vader" -- there's a word in front of the name that probably denotes what the new series will be called.

This picture seems to show a super deformed VCD Darth Maul that conforms with the current line.
