I've been following your work over there, but am glad to see you bring it this way as well. This is a very fun place to chat at.
Your figure looks awesome. Usually I can give some advice, but I think you have this pretty darn near pefection. Talk about a complex custom... so many different figure parts used here, and great paint application.
Do you have more of your work to show us? I'd love to see it!
:P

Yeah! You should start your own thread like Chewie and I. That's one thing I really like about this site, is you get a little more "personal" feel.
I love the Sith troop. This is one I've wanted to do for a long time, but never seem to get around to doing because of the work involved. This is a great use of many parts, it's really coming together well!
Welcome!

The more I look at this figure, the more and more I like it.
Makes me want to play KOTOR I again...uhm, excuse me...I gotta go do something...

im glad everyone enjoys this as much as i do...... it really took some guts for me to actually take a chance on the parts involved.....once i finish up with the thigh gaurds i must decide on my next project....im thinking of either a original creation.....or possibly my favorite........ all i can say is ROTJ
-
You sure do a great job, and pay a lot of attention to detail as well as seem great at finding parts that work well. Can't wait to see what you have up your sleeve.
:P

all i can say is ROTJ
Ewok babies, right?! It's gotta be Ewok babies!! ;)

hmmm..i dont even think my steady hand has what it takes to pay attention to THAT MUCH detail.....do offense y'arna but i still cant tell if those are spare tires or if your trying to feed a litter of puppies.......::uuggghh::
-
You mean you're not up for some hot, Yarna action? :P
I'm wracking my brain, trying to remember who you really dug in ROTJ that hasn't made it into figure form...is it someone I would know?
-DD

Well I can't wait to see who it is (or what alien, maybe Hermie Odle?)...
:P
-
Hermi Odle would be cool. I've always wanted a figure of him, but have never even considered doing one myself.
Hmmm...

I'm not explaining this code....you can look it up. :)

It's looking good so far but I think the helmet needs a bit of work. There should be notihng below the black part of the visor, the silver part on each side ot the visor extends a bit beyond the edge of the vizor. It shouldn't have the collar/chin piece like the guard helmet base, it needs to end at the visor. The sides ote hlmet that flare out on the shoulders, needs to be shaved off and brought in close to the helmet, the Sith trooper's helmet has more of a defined corner there and the helmet doesn't extend over the shoulders at all. The visor and the top of the helmet look fine you don't need to do anything there. the armor around the but may need some sculpting work as well, it almost like a half skirt around the back. The crotch looks fine but it needs more armor on the sides of the leg and the back side. Maybe it could use a touch of drybrushing as well to bring out some of the detail on the armor. Overall it is a good custom it just needs a bit more work.
If that didn't make sense (I'm really tired, so it may be incoherent babbling ::)) here's apic of what needs to be fixed:
