Interesting. The only EU we are allowed in the action figure line.

I think it would've been funny if they used the other Utai mold to do another baggage handler.

Possibly just wishful thinking on his part. I disagree with almost everything Adam Pawlus thinks about everything action figure related, other than that action figures should be able to sit. He's in opposition to the things that got me back into collecting. Waxing romantic about the 90's and the preposed/action feature happy Saga Collection figures is one thing...advocating a return to those times? No thanks.

Found Frost Giant King Laufey at 5 Below for $4.  I didn't notice them having Thor figures before. Others were versions of Thor and an Odin.

No vintage left at "my" TRU. The movie heroes/clone wars left were 90% MH Super Battle Droids and MH Battle Droids. Everyone hates separatist army builders or at least sucky versions of them. IIRC, those were the only Movie Heroes figures left, the rest was a handful of CW...I wish I liked Aqua Droids more...but I don't.

Plus side I found a  $5 2011 Legends Stormtrooper in his non-removable helmet glory at Marshalls next door. I finally decided to take the last Rebel Commando from 5 Below along with a Naboo Pilot that I thought they had sold a month ago (seeing as they've only had one case of Discover the Force).

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: The Walking Dead

On Talking Dead Kirkman said this was the series finale. Too bad. Oh, he was joking.

Not manning a guard tower is really dumb. Good guys are dumb. They cannot hear, either. Or the Governor has a stealth pick-up.

Michonne practically let that guy walk past her. Why didn't they immediately shoot at that van? They just wait for the baclk to open so the Gauntlet monster generator inside can churn out walkers.

Glenn's truck must've been telported onto the road...because there's little reason for his dumbfounded reaction. Guns are loud. Did he have the stereo turned up all the way?

Rick envisions Lori wearing a backless white gown for some reason. Classy crazy train.

Apparently there's a show limit on creepy rednecks, too. Axel might as well have been dead already, because almost everytime he offered to help, he'd get turned down. (interesting the actor that played him said he auditioned for a serial killer that would've kidnapped one of the women, Beth, maybe).

Not that it was a bad episode. It was better than last week. The rescue of the bridge people seemed odd...if only because running into anyone alive in the open seems weird at this point.

That reminds me. Notice the prison had huge statues of phase 2 Clone Troopers. So...what does that say about things? They have resources to waste on aesthetics during total war? That the prison will  look dated when Stormtrooper armor becomes standard?

??? None of the seasons ended on a real cliffhanger. The last one just had Maul and Opress still alive. Their story wasn't supposed to continue until this year, but the first episode of their arc was stand alone-like enough to be used as the season opener.

Target got the new Yoda Class I and II sets, but no new figures. With TVC being clearanced there it seems unlikely they will get any of the Greatest Hits stuff. And no new MH or TCW obviously. When the Yoda stuff sells through, will they be re-stocking?

Jedi Temple Archives reported that Target is cancelling Star Wars action figure aisle product for their reset planograms. Some stores reset before the official deletion.

We might just see Yoda packaged stuff hit clearance already there already?!

I liked this episode, I thought the chase scene was pretty epic. I have a few complaints based on some of the events that happened but I guess my questions will be answered in the coming episodes.

One thing though. Whoever Force Choked Letta to death did so without being there. I thought that was a stretch, for sure. It crosses that line into Force Powers as over-the-top. I would only find it acceptable if it was Palpatine, but I wouldn't be surprised if maybe it was him.

Visual contact is what's required for force choking....maybe. Vader chokes Admiral Ozzel who is in another part of the ship over his viewscreen. So the killer would have needed access to the camera monitors.

The Jedi Who Knew Too Much...the show that telegraphed too many plot twists.

Fox Phase 2 gets some use. Sucks his figure won't get any animated Phase 2 shock troopers to back him up. But the animated design is close to the real thing, anyway.

More stun-setting effects, so rarely used. Kill happy galaxy that it is.

Tarkin is a creep.

Ahsoka had time to tell Anakin what that prisoner told her, but instead was too busy debating making a FUGITIVE homage.

Minor usage of the Turbo Tank. Gunships that just happen to be equipped with searchlights. ROTS air speeder.

He got the Kessel runs in under 5 parsecs.

There'll be nothing new for months. Quitting isn't an option...it's a temporary reality for everyone!

Predictions this year:
Wave 1 and 2 are findable, but Hasbro underproduces...some fans are lefting wanting. Mara Jade skyrockets on ebay.

Wave 3 hits  just before Xmas and is never seen again.

Wave 4 is held off for an agonizing street date in spring 2014.

Legends abounds, but like previous legends, no new product (characters) for months. Pegs of R4's accumulate with Mace Windus beside them.

The online Vader Evolutions set becomes this years Pod Racers pack.

2012's Naboo fighters become part of some value pack exclusive, paired with an undesirable vehicle, at a big box retailer that requires paid membership.

2014: Hasbro cancels all vehicles that aren't exclusives.

I think that the Stormtrooper and the 41st Clone are actually the Sandtrooper and 212th Clone since neither the stormtrooper or 41st were part of Legacy.

Hopefully this is the case. I was actually very excited for the Sand Trooper, and the 212th Clone had nice paint apps. Either way this sounds like a decent wave, and I'll probably pick up all six figures plus some extra troopers.

May be the case.

But, few were entirely happy with the short 41st Clone in Kashyyyk armor, so it would not be surprising they have a do-over planned. If the two realistic Clone wars releases have been booted out (it's not clear), that leaves the other 18 revealed releases from BAD plus one.

Or it's a *snooze* landing platform repaint of phase 2.

Not the only teases. Looking around, it seems Shoprunner is a pseudo-scam. They either take your credit card info and collect their membership fee earlier than they claim or ignore your attempts to cancell your trial before the deadline (forcing you to challenge them) and if you do become a member and order too much, they cancel your account early claiming your a reseller or something.

Excellent...I procrastinated and flip-flopped about ordering long enough that all the Rebel Fleet Troopers are gone! No credit card bill there!  :P

Load up my cart with Aaylas, gammorean guards and Arc Trooper Commanders...and oh....right, never in stock.

Sale applies to clone wars and movie heroes from last year, but not the old junk they have in stock from prior years.

Anyway, to get free shipping I ordered 14 Ratts Tyrell figures to go with the two figures I wanted.

Is that Shoprunner thing a trick or can you get free shipping and then dump them after the trial ends?

And since when was the snowspeeder in those vehicle bundles from Black Friday? http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=17370436

Likewise, they have one with the Turbo Speeder and plo koon's fighter. Never heard about that. No photos. "available in stores" only. Strange.
