It'll be interesting to see how far this line can go in the long run. I'm definitely interested in picking up a full set for display in place of my originals until I can better protect my originals from UV damage.

I slithered over to JTA to see if anyone had reported Barges shipping. Didn't see anything.
Did see the Retro figs were back up for pre order this monring, but too late, sold out again. Dang

Catching up on some things tonight (waiting for Hasbro to release the press images we were promised) and I noticed that Matt got Hasbro to confirm that the "Retro Collection!" call-out is a sticker on the card and not printed on the cardback.

FYI - got an updated press release from Hasbro this morning that says these will now only be Target exclusive in the Spring and then be available through "Fan Channels" in Fall 2019.

I've received a lot of cool Hasbro PR things in my time on the toy news beat (like the roaring Chewbacca box they used for the SOLO toy PR loot), but I think I have a new favorite.

I received a Retro Collection Early Bird Certificate Kit in the mail today from Hasbro PR.  What a fun way to promote both May the 4th and the new Retro Collection stuff, which should officially hit Target.com on 5/12.  Looking forward to getting the figures in the mail to see what kind of a package they've whipped up for the actual figure delivery.   ;D

So I've seen on various Facebook collection pages that these are showing up at Target (none of mine though) and people have been showing how easy it is to peel off the stickers.

I wonder how many unscrupulous ebay sellers are doing this?  What do the backs of the cards look like?

All 4 stores around me have a case in the back but won’t pulll then out due to the 5/12 street date. So a big strike out there. The board game with Tarkin though is now available on target.com so I got that ordered and done.

None here, checked both days this weekend and Friday.  I just want the board game and Tarkin and was kind of disappointed they didn’t get them out for this weekend, though I’m not surprised either.

I couldn't say 0%.  Maybe not to someone who knew what they were looking for, but I could see a few uninformed folks getting suckered by an auction.
