Finally sent off for this today...hope I get one before they run out. And a decent card would be nice to boot.

On a related note, I now have 4 TVC figs sans UPC's but otherwise unmolested if anyone is interested. (Not likely I know)

Which cardbacks are they?

I'm amazed how easily the bubble seems to be separating.  It's very strange really.  I wonder if you tortured a basic carded vintage Collection figure like this, would the bubble pull off the card like that?  it's a kind of almost strange natural separation.  It doesn't seem to do all that much damage to the cardback, but clearly it's lifting some of the graphic off of it.

Send me some instructions of how you want me to torture a basic card.  I've only a couple of figures but haven't opened them yet.  I don't give a crap about the cardbacks so lemme know what you want done.

I'll take all the cardbacks!

I think some of the $7 goes into the cost of the toy though as well...  It's not really "free" I suppose, to anyone involved.  And in our case, some of the cost of it is eating up some of the shipping we paid for it I suppose.  Considering the "Freebies" we've gotten, and for only the supposed $6.99 shipping price, I'm surprised this has gone on this long without either this situation creeping up, or with Hasbro pulling the plug on mail-aways.  They're something they've said in the past that they really don't like to do because of the high costs involved.

I suppose if there's enough backlash over the Rocket Fett's then there could be some changes to mail-ins...  Raised shipping or possibly pulling the plug on them (or so many of them so rapidly) could either one happen.

I would think the cost that Hasbro incurs is chalked upto promotion when it comes to the Fett.
Its the main thing that draws attention to the line.
Its the only reason I even knew about or bought this run.

Perhaps we can have a swap of figures that arrive in poor condition for openers and MOMC survivors for carded collectors. I need one of both.

I would not mind doing that.
I'll see how the second one shows up, if its in decent shape I'll trade it for an open one.

Very happy with this one.
I'd like one to open as well.
Lucky, this one is in good shape.

Saw the wave at Wally last night.
Got the Sandtrooper and Clone on non foil cards.
Wanted Anakin and Ben , but had to pass for now.
There were foils of Magna guard and Cody.

Got my two today.  Both were crushed up.   :(

Both bubbles were separated from the card.

That pic freaked me out.

The commander is different than the regular Snowtrooper.
His face plate is solid.
The regular Snowtroop face thingie looks more wrinkly.

The Commander Kubrick looks more like a vintage figure though.

If you don't want to wait, 'thestealthtank' has a ton of them on ebay with starting bids of $0.01.  Looks like he bought a few Master Cases and is selling off everything extra he has.

Thank you.
What is a good price to pay for one though?
I've been out of the loop here.
