Title: Funko 3.75" Action Figure Lines
Post by: Jeff on February 17, 2017, 10:40 AM: Since Funko is now doing their own thing and no longer part of ReAction, I thought I'd add a catch-all thread for their new 3.75" efforts as we head into Toy Fair this weekend.

Game of Thrones stuff can be found over in the A Song of Ice and Fire / Game of Thrones Figures! I'm on vacation this week but found a Hot Topic here at the beach, of course they didn't know wtf I was talking about when I asked about them earlier today.

Bummed to see that pic though, for sure a huge drop off from what was shown previously. :(

Post by: Rob on August 17, 2017, 01:46 PM: There's a local comic shop chain here called Graham Cracker Comics, I wandered into their downtown location at lunch yesterday and they had 3 of them. I bought the best of the 3, the photo above is of the worst of the 3.

I know the promotional samples always look better than the final thing, but Funko needs a new factory. The difference between what they show and what shows up in stores is just too much. The figures look really bad.

Post by: McMetal on August 19, 2017, 10:59 PM: Got back from vacation today and promptly went out and found these at the Hot Topic near my house. Luckily they had 3 of each set, so I was able to pick the ones with the best paint apps. They are definitely pretty hit or miss. I'm happy with the ones I got, but would have had to pass if those hadn't been there. One of the sets had a Demogorgon leg just floating around which must have come loose during shipping. The others had the wonky eyes like from your pic, Rob.

They also had a BOGO 30% off deal, so I saved about $6 which was nice.

Since reading your post, I've read four more reports/pics on social media where Demogorgon is missing a leg or had one come loose during transit/shipping. Seems like more than just a one-off mishap...

Post by: McMetal on October 24, 2017, 08:57 AM: The Funko Stranger Things figures are now showing up at Target, both in the original 3-pack form and single carded. They also have 3 single carded "Chase" figures apparently which are the same ones from the NYCC exclusive 3-pack.

They are in a special section in the Funko area, back among the CD's and games and stuff. I had to hit 3 different stores to find a single carded Demogorgon, but I finally managed to score one.

I think they are $7.99 apiece. Interestingly, the paint apps on the single carded figures look MUCH better than the 3-pack versions. I am considering picking up a full set now.

I picked up both the three packs at TRU a while back because I had a coupon and managed to find one of each set with really good paint apps. Would be cool to get the single carded "exclusives" as well. I have seen the NYCC three pack on the bay for about $30, so definitely cheaper to buy the individuals at Target.

I just came from TRU where they had the 3-packs for $29.99 a pop...Target is selling them for $19.99. Much better deal IMO.

Last time I checked the NYCC 3-pack was still available on Amazon for $25 shipped. I keep meaning to order one but other stuff pops up and sidetracks me.

Hope we see some more from the new season!

I checked out a few Targets this morning, but haven't seen any sign of these variant figures. Did you see all three? They seem to have plenty of the same figures from the 3 packs, but that's all I've come across. :P

Post by: McMetal on November 4, 2017, 12:57 PM: I ended up buying the NYCC 3-pack, so I decided to pass on the individually carded ones. Have not been checking regularly but from what I gather all the chase figures are available there. I think they even have them on the website if that helps.

I'm halfway through Season 2 and loving it...hope we get more of these.

I've still never seen any of the actual chase figures though, at least on single cards. I'd like a Demo I can open and pair with the regular one.

I had a coupon for 10% off and got free shipping so they only came to $50 for the lot of 5...not bad.

That show has been just terrific...

Got these today and they are amazing, and arrived in good condition still on their cards. The Arathim is huge!

For some reason Walmart didn’t have the Hunter online when I made my order, so I guess I still need him.

I missed out on most of the movie figures when my pre-order was never fulfilled (or my money returned) before the shop went out of business. These will go a long way to soothing the ache... or be a constant reminder of the gaping hole in my collection. :-\

I am really happy now that I got all the Funko figs, but I kinda wish I had them carded. That was out of my hands though since I ordered them from Barnes and Noble and they all busted open in transit. That line had a lot of issues with bubble/card integrity.

I am glad I was able to score a couple of the Landstrider exclusives, and the Garthim/Winger Kira set (for a pretty penny) and at least those are all still boxed.
