I guess this possible SDCC/Pulse ANH Cantina set would explain why Greedo joined Han/Luke on the 1996 POTF2 carded re-issues earlier this year...

It looks pretty good.  And now I have good reason to open up the TRU exclusive Han Solo & Greedo 2-pack with the Cantina booth!

I'm just dreading how look it will take for this thing to get delivered.  The last big Black Series convention exclusive took over 9 months to ship to me.

I don't need another Obi-Wan, but I like the bar and Evazan and Ponda Boba.  Price point seems okay too.

Woulda been nice to have a Wuher, Hammerhead, or Snaggletooth instead of the Obi-Wan.

I feel same about this as the Heroes of Endor set. I love it, but I'll pay $46 for Ponda and Evazan later and save the $60 for Kenobi's head and the bar piece.

Yeah, I'm not going to be too upset if I can't get this piece, assuming they're going to offer Ponda and Evazan later.  Have they confirmed that or are we just assuming that since they have almost always released figures from an exclusive later as individually carded figures?

Yeah, Jayson has already dug up the code names for 6" Ponda and 6" Evazan.

Yes! More environment pieces are sorely needed for this line. My ANH shelf is by far the most crowded one though, so not sure where I could even fit this thing between the Landspeeder, Dewback, etc. would probably end up keeping it boxed like all my other SDCC exclusives…

Even though I $**t on the Hasbro Pulse exclusive POTF2 packaged Black Series Han Solo, Luke Skywalker and Greedo, I can appreciate those releases now relative to this set.  The packaging actually looks really cool.  And the Cinema Scenes were some of my favorite multipacks from back in the day.

The bar and distillery look great!  Now I'm wondering how many more Cantina denizens might be coming in the Black Series down the line?  The other Cantina aliens from the 20 back card, like Momaw Nadon and Zutton seem like no-brainer choices.  And the Cantina band might make for another great convention exclusive down the line.  As much as I would like to see a Black Series Wuher to put behind that bar, does anyone really think that figure would be viable as anything other than an exclusive?  If anything, I think that could be another potential convention exclusive - Wuher, another bar section and a couple more Cantina aliens.

This is awesome, and oddly, I love the packaging, even though I hate the other POTF2 reissues. Won't be too upset if I don't get this, it's only about $40 for the Kenner Kenobi with the same realscan face deco, and Jayson said Ponda and Evazan are coming later.

Remind me what a Pulsecon Exclusive means.  Do we have to be members to order or is this the pre-order for members that might sell out anyway on day 1 followed by general release non-member orders the next day?

It means the item is exclusive to Hasbro Pulse and will debut/go up for pre-order sometime during the not officially announced 2021 Pulse Con event.

No one is quite sure yet if you will need to be a Pulse Premium member to order or Pulse Premium gets you early access or if it's open to everyone or what.  All that stuff will be revealed closer to the Pulse Con 2021 event... which again, they haven't even announced dates for yet.

This set just went up for sale... I somehow forgot about the $105 price tag, so I'm passing for now. I can't justify that much money for two new figures that are coming again individually.
