OK, that Defense of the Senate Battle Pack kicks ass!
You guys guessed it - they are the figures from the Gunship box photography.
-
It's too bad the blue ARCs look like the CW version, but I'm pretty excited about this, and the gunship.
-
According to the SW.com link above:
"Retail Exclusives
Lastly, for the true bounty hunters, several store exclusive figures are available this May as well. The Clone Wars microseries-inspired Republic Gunship and the Hunt for General Grievous Battle Pack will be available exclusively at Toys R Us stores. Exclusively at Target stores, look for the Demise of General Grievous super-premium 3.75" figure and the Skirmish in the Senate battle pack."
I assume the Hunt for General Grievous Battle Pack will be the 5 clones, whereas the Skirmish in the Senate is the Yoda, Emperor, and Shockies.
Those are some sweet looking clones.

Hmmm.... those blue ARC Troopers just don't do anything for me... the rest looks nice, although really cartoonish.
:P

mmm I don't think so. I think those clones are the Hunt for General Grievous Battle Pack.
I think we still don't know what the Defense of the Senate is.

There's some definite confusion with these Battle pack names.
The Skirmish of the Senate is the 2 Shocktroopers, Yoda, Palpatine and the pod, as discussed here (http://www.jedidefender.com/yabbse/index.php?topic=10446.0) (ruiner just used the wrong Battle Pack name, that's all).
The Defense of the Senate? Not sure. Perhaps TRU misnamed that Pack on Amazon, as mentioned here (http://www.jedidefender.com/yabbse/index.php?topic=10958.0).

It'll be tough deciding to get the ARC Battlepack or the Senate Battleback. ARCs or Senate Pods, ARCs or Senate Pods... hmmm.
-
I'll go with senate pods. Two nice SA Shocktroopers and a Senate pod... I've been wanting senate pods for years.
:P

I figured the Clone Trooper set was the "Defense of the Senate" pack. I think they renamed it as the "Hunt for General Greivous."
-
Kinda funny they named the ARC pack "Hunt For General Grievous", when the ARCs didn't even know Grievous was at Hypori. The more accurate name should've been, "The Rescue Of Ki-Adi-Mundi".
-
That Red ARC kitbash is great, too bad they couldn't do that with the blue ARCs, along with giving the Red one a rangefinder.
I'll be picking up the Hunt for Grievous and Senate battle packs for sure, along with a Gunship. Still debating if I should get the Grievous, but I probably won't due to these horrible prices. :-\
-
Hmmm.... those blue ARC Troopers just don't do anything for me... the rest looks nice, although really cartoonish.
:P
Considering they are from the cartoon they outta be. I wish they wouldn't be a TRU exclusive but oh well.
-
[It'll be tough deciding to get the ARC Battlepack or the Senate Battleback. ARCs or Senate Pods, ARCs or Senate Pods... hmmm.
It will be easier than you think. I plan on getting multiples of the battle pack and have no need of the senate pods, so they will be available.

I know what you mean, but these are not "Animated Style" figures. I would think that they could make them look a little less vibrant in color, maybe add a bit of weathering. That's just the movie style fan in me I guess.
:P

Has a price on these Battlepacks been stated?
If the Skirmish at Senate set is from Target, then it's possible it will follow the price of their previous exclusive which I believe was $19.99.
-
I think the prices of both are $24.99, at least the TRU one is. Not sure of Target yet, I think it's the same.
-
They are not bad...could be worse.

Wellllllll ... I give it 6.5 out of 10.
The red ARC looks pretty good.
The other 3 ARCs are all right I guess. They used the cruddy old CW mold, but at least they got the correct shade of blue (to match the comics) instead of the greyish-blue tone used on the original release.
The gunner dude looks good (aside from missing the rangefinder), but they got the BFG wrong. The guy with that helmet is supposed to have the quad-cannon:
The rotary BFG belongs to one of the regular helmets:
Then again, wasn't there a rumor of a "Clone Gunner" as an exclusive? Perhaps it will be the quad-cannon guy.
-
Man, they're going to sell these by the truckload.
Hopefully there'll be enough. If I have the bank, I might get two, because I like ARC Troopers.
-
I'm actually up for probably two of these sets if I can find them... This'll be one I track down via DPCI so I'm not missing out on it just incase.
The set's not a knock-out but the red ARC Sergeant looks pretty spiffy to me despite inaccurate pistols. I'm ok with that. The re-used CW Clones are a bit ****** and how hard would it have been to use a regular SA Clone mold and stick a Kama on it, seriously? Seems rather half-assed, but at the same time I'm not gonna gripe too much on those grunts.
The Mini-Gunner is cool just because it's different to me, so I like it despite inaccuracies. I may try my hand at a Pom-Pom Gunner then at some point, but the mini-gunner looks really cool to me for some reason. I do think this set will do better than the Assault on Coruscant set what with the Clone Wars toon Gunship coming. It's the perfect thinking on Hasbro's part despite a rather half-assed effort ons ome of the figures.
I think most would have liked a SA ARC Trooper resculpt in the basic line actually. One of the more popular characters. The CW figure sold pretty darn well in both colors in my area, and red was pretty impossible to find overall.
-
I'm SO going to get me a set of these... ;D
-
I'll have no problems picking this one up since a good friend of mine works for TRU.
-
Don't know why they couldn't use the SA Red ARC mold for the blue ones. Oh, well. They're still clones.
-
I figured the Clone Trooper set was the "Defense of the Senate" pack. I think they renamed it as the "Hunt for General Greivous."
I never thought of that. You could be right. :-\
-
Definately loving those clones! Time to start haning out at the TRU that are left...
-

A top-notch-detailed SA ARC is one of my Top Ten or even Top Five wanted figures.
I've gotta believe an SA basic ARC is coming someday, maybe late this year after the current "2006" waves have run their course. If not, then in 2007 since the ARCs will presumably reappear in the 3-D CW toon. I mean, I never thought they'd make a figure of the Talz Jedi, so if they'll do him, another ARC seems almost mandatory.
-
Looks like TRU will be getting a bunchof money from me this year. With these and Nerf exclusives, I can't get a break.

-
So... the box of the clone gunship shows plain looking pilots. I assumed one would be a part of this pack. Now, I wondering it the pilots are fixed figures that come with the gunship.
-
The gunner dude looks good (aside from missing the rangefinder)
Looks like there's something on the other side of the helmet. It's not the correct rangefinder, but something is sticking up on the left side (right side in the pic).

I think the "Heavy Gunner" Clone just re-uses the AT-RT Driver Head:
I've been trying to figure out exactly what he is, but with the small pic it's harder to guess.
Head = AT-RT Driver
Skirt/Kama = Baccara? I think all the other skirts (#33 and Evo had holsters, this one doesn't)
Body = ?
I can't quite tell which body that is, but we know it has to most likely be a re-used one. It's definitely NOT the AT-RT Body (missing the doo-dad on the legs) and not Bacara's body since it doesn't have the right shoulders on the arms.
-
I think the body is an ROTS #33 Clone Commander. If you look closely, you can make out the strap on the right arm.
-
Sure wish we'd see pictures of the TRU Battle Pack that is rumored to coincide with the ship...
How's this:

Nice! Can't wait to see them in person. I'm been waiting for an SA Arc Trooper for a LONG time.
-
Perfect - thanks Jeff!
Can't wait to find one or two of those!

-
Are these mods to the existing CW Arc Troopers?
-
It looks like, and I'm no expert, that the red ARC is the same one that was released in the CW line.
If so, kudos to Hasbro for re-releasing a highly sought after figure.
I can't wait to get the new Gunship and clones. Very cool toys.
-
Are these mods to the existing CW Arc Troopers?
I believe the blue Arcs are rehashes but the red is the SA version. At least this is what has been speculated from the photos that were released.
-
:-\ look back over to page 2 at the pic Valin posted. Is it jusy me or did hasbro screw up like they did w/the pilot obi and at-te gunner with the ankles. red arc has red ankle joint and mini gunner has blue ankle joints. or was that how they are in the cartoon and i don't remember.
-
One set for me, unless my son wants one, then it will be 2. When do you think these will hit? Sounds like 2 weeks out and do you think Amazom will actually honor their pre-orders on this?
-
Seeing this packaged makes it impossible to not want it!!!!
-
Being that the Arc is my favorite trooper Im gonna need like 4 of these. :-\
-
Damn, all this cool stuff at once. :P Just one for me, please. I'm a little tired of army building at these prices.
-
I think the Red Arc Trooper is a combination of the ROTS Clone Commander and pieces from the Clone Wars Red Arc Trooper - helmet & pauldron.
-
Seeing this packaged makes it impossible to not want it!!!!
Not for everyone. I, personally, couldn't care less about it ;)
-

Yeah, I don't need this either.
-
Oh boy, I really want one of these. I love these clone sets with 4 troopers and one officer. Just curious, is this the same as the Defense of the Galactic Senate set on Toys R Us.com?
-

Well, I guess you can't please 'em all.
-
I could not care less about packaging but I love ARC troopers and I want at least 2 sets.
-
Yeah, it's very nice to see non-animated Clone Wars era troops again at retail (although yes I love the animated ones too, and that reminds me I still need a carded blue clone!). Especially since the first time around they disappeared before even hitting the pegs!
:D
-
Hopefully this will make the elusive Red ARC from the CW line more accessable to people. Funny thing is, I think TRU bought a large number, and these will still be instant sellers.
-
I'll need two Gunships and 2 set of troops. I am running out of space on my roof though ::)
-
I'll definitely be getting this baby...gotta love the clones!

Summer has to be hell on your toys.

Is the sku for the HFG pack out yet? Normally someone that works there posts it way before they hit stores. What are they now? Thanks
roron corobb
-
The more I look at the boxed image, the more I wish they had included an AOTC era pilot in the bunch. My gunships could use a couple more of those.. Still, it is quite cool.

A little dissapointed that they used the very static CW ARC figure x3. I would have bee better that they used the same RED arc cody for the other 3.
I am still buying dont get me wrong. The CW arcs really cannot strike cool poses for displaying. Plus the parts come off too easy.
Word!
-
I might actually pass on this set... it just doesn't do a lot for me. Using that old ARC sculpt I think is a bad move. I guess I'm being picky here.
:)
-
Even at $25.00 each, these are a better value than the basic carded figures. And these are unique figures, unlike the skirmish pack with two good and two bad repacks. But since that one is $20.00, it is a good value too. With all the $10.00, $12.00, and $15.00 figures this year value is going to be more scarce than any UGH.
-
Chewie,
You are not being picky. I agree the old arc sculpts are buzz killers.
If they were SA I would easily buy 2-3
-
Chewie, I would agree with you that this is not the best articulated set of figures. Having said that, I know I will pick up one, because what I am wanting out of this year is very quickly dying (unless the VTSC come out with more). I want most of the Tat. wave, but only 3 figures out of the Endor wave, maybe some duplicates for customs.
-
I'll pick up one, maybe two of the hunt set, but I do think it's cool for what it is...
I'm a bit bummed they didn't just do up the ARCS in borderline SA though using maybe a new head on the ROTS Clone Commander body, or using the pieces they used for the Red Sergeant in the pack to do all the other troops. The CW ARC was a weak figure, so getting it thrice in this set really makes you wish you were getting just repaints of the red one in the set.
Still, the red Sergeant and the Mini-Gunner are pretty spiffy. :) I'm happy to get those guys.
-
Ran this SKU at TRU today and the main district TRU wherehouse said they had 8.
Only 8?!
-
Time to make an online order ;D
-
Looks like these are now in-stock (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000CEXNP8/wwwjedidefend-20) at Amazon.
I took the lazy way and grabbed one on-line because I had an Amazon GC to use. :)
edit:
And yes, Hasbro confirmed that the "Defense of the Senate" = "The Hunt for Grievous". The item underwent a late-stage name change... apparently hunting for Grievous is more fun than defending the senate. :P
-
Its figures. I mean who rather defense the senate over hunting for Grevious?
-
Although, the "Defense of the Senate" makes more sense being these look like the ARCs described in Labryinth of Evil who defended the Senate during Grievous' invasion. Whatever, though, I'll probably buy this one online.
Even though the blue ARC Troopers are a little under articulated, those look like pretty good custom fodder (never found the first version, I started collecting with the RotS line) and I really like the Gunner and the Sargeant.
-

What? I read LOE and there wasn't any pics. :-*
Still..it will be nice to get my hands on some more of those Arc trooper guns..it looks like we get 2 from the set. :)

Sorry. I meant that book describes them as an ARC Team led by a Red Captain. That was seriously one of the best SW books I've read, especially when they invaded the Works.
-
Talked to Amazom tonight . . . . my battlepack which should have arrived today . . . . is currently on backorder with everyone else and is scheduled for shipment on June 11. The customer service rep was nice and upgraded gave me free shipping.
-
Hmmm, I asked TRU Tuesday about this set and now their system shows their 'Main' local Wherehouse hasn't even received this set/SKU yet. Kind of half/heartedly expecting store release in 2 weeks.
-
oK, i EMAILED aMAZON SINCE i ORDERED THIS AND THE GUNSHIP since I had ordered them, and they hadn't shipped. Amazon said the had computer trouble, and they upped me to two day shipping with no charge AND gave me a $5 promotional certificate. Pretty cool, huh?
-
Yeah, c o o l. You're Awesome :-X

See this is the problem with Amazon. Everyone gets screwed from them and everyone gets a different adjustment.
Some people got upgraded shipping with a $5 off coupon. I got updated shipping with $10 off. Others got free shipping.
-
Well, the date has changed again. Surprise, surprise! It is now showing again as a "Preorder". New ship date May 15th. :P
-
I had gotten an initial update a few weeks ago with a revised ship date of May 8-10. I haven't received any correspondence since.
-
My order still says this...
Shipping estimate: May 10, 2006
Delivery estimate: May 12, 2006 - May 15, 2006
And of course, I have recieved nothing from them on a date change. ::)
-
I emailed them about it and changed my ship date to July 11th, and offered me a $20 promo certificate.
-
They just updated my arrival date to May 16th from July 11th. They have no idea what they are doing over there.
-
My order still says this...
Shipping estimate: May 10, 2006

I got a shipping adjustment notice today too. It now looks like this:
Shipping estimate: May 15, 2006
Delivery estimate: May 17, 2006 - May 18, 2006
-
I'm in the same boat as most of you guys. My order is scheduled to ship on the 15th of this month, and is said to arrive on the 17th. I still have no idea on how to use the $5 promotional gift or whatever the hell it's called. I really want to order me one of them fine-lookin' Utapau troopers.
-
I just got an update saying May 19th is my revised ship date.
-
Bumped again to June 1st :P
-
When I was going to TRU at opening for the Gunship, there were two guys consistantly showing up waiting for this to hit.
-
What is the deal with these things? Are they ever really going to ship? I mean it shouldn't take this long after those pics were released of it packaged over seas right?
-
I don't get the front page update about this thing--it says that some people have been receiving it, is this true? I haven't seen any news of people getting these yet, so this confuses me...
-
When it first became "in stock" back at the start of May, there were a few (very few) that did in fact ship.
According to the info I have from Amazon, many Gunships were shipped, but for this battle pack the number was less than 50 that have been shipped so far...
-
I think the prices of both are $24.99, at least the TRU one is. Not sure of Target yet, I think it's the same.
Do we have confirmation of what TRU's in-store price is going to be on this Battle Pack? Amazon's prices on other TSC items have not meshed with TRU's in-store price, so I'm wondering if there will be a difference.
-
I just got an update saying May 19th is my revised ship date.
Got another revised ship date today. It's now June 1st. :P
-
Got another revised ship date today. It's now June 1st. :P
Ditto. I am actually thinking about canceling the order and not even buying these . . . I have the Red Arc and Blue/Gray Arc's from the CW and I am thinking that is enough. We'll see, but knowing me I'll still probably buy em, maybe, just because I like, maybe. . . . .
I guess we could start having some fun with this and come up with some stupid or wachky idea of where they are at. One is this is all a marketing plot by Hasbro to see how many gunships they sell so they know how many BP to make for retail. Only problem with my theory is that are already made.
Theory 2 is that they got shipped to outer Mongolio, or Siberia and they are still waiting for the spring thaw to hit those reasons. Yeah, theory two works for me.
-
It looks like we may all be in the same boat. I placed my order May 2nd and had delivery estimate dates pushed back until June 5th. Oh well, at least we will all be getting more ARC troopers soon enough.
-
I think Hasbro is in over their heads with the way everything is in short supply. I think they can't keep up with the way everything is selling. Look back when the TSC first came out, it would come in (about a case) and be gone within that week from all retailers. Even though half of the figures offered are repacks/remolds. Now if you look, the selves all you see are mostly repack/remold peg warmers all over. When it would be smarter to have made up better case ratios of newer items to keep the boom that has been going. Now they can’t even get an item with repack/remold items to the retailer when they should have. I think Hasbro will be the death of the line if they don’t change and fast.
roron corobb
-
It certainly seems to be a case of Hasbro dropping the ball. The big box retailers have dedicated a good chunk of shelf space to the brand, and the only sure-fire sellers are lightsabers and figures. I see many empty pegs around here, and the usual peg warmers. Although Reikeen and Derlin are less common than Bib and poggle.
I also received a delay in shipping notice. June 15th is my new date.
-
I'm probably one of the few people on the planet who's actually happy about the delay. Too much stuff came out this month. It's nice to spread the cost out.
-
I'm probably one of the few people on the planet who's actually happy about the delay.
Yes, yes, you are one of the few. Maybe the only one.
;)
-

I'm with you actually Anton... THis is just one more thing to track down right now, and I'm still sort of in recoop mode so I'm ok with a delay. Though, this is a set that I like but will only want a max of 2 of I think... Just hard to justify more with the ARCs being such a letdown... Gotta get that great ARC Sergeant and Heavy Gunner though in at least doubles.
I'm happy with the wait though on these. Gives me time to continue focusing on playing catch-up.
-
Well its a new week so how about another new delivery date? There is no longer a release date on this anymore. The June 1st date has been removed.
-
I have not minded the delay either. I took a bit of a hit with the VTSC so a little time to recover is good.
-
In surfing I have seen pictures at other sites confirming that these have hit the TRU's. Also know someone who works for TRU and the warehouses are getting them in. The hunt is up for anyone who wants to find em at retail.

I cant wait for this thing. Best Battlepack to date IMO. Lets hope that Amazon gets stock in fast.
-
This pack would have been better if they substituted one of the blue ARCs for a ARC Pilot. Passing on this, saving my $20 for the CW Mace JSF.
-
I'm not too excited about this pack either.
I'd go for an all VOTC Stormtrooper pack though! Or make that 10 of them...
:)
-
I'm definitely excited!
So, are these all SA or somewhat SA?
-
I'm definitely excited!
So, are these all SA or somewhat SA?
I think that a couple are SA, and a couple are straight repacks of the Clone Wars ARC Trooper.
I can see why people would be excited and looking forward to this, but for whatever reason I never really liked ARC Troopers.
:)
-
That could be because trying to pose them sucks butt. I have about 6 or 7 of these guys just because I got lucky at WM with the value packs way back when. Getting them in any sort of pose is a waste of time. I have a few of mine hanging from the cables in the back of the CW gunship. Also the articulation is a nightmare.
-
The ARC's sculpt was pretty weak but I'd take the SA's re-released in the basic line in various flavors. :) The "ARC" is an untapped well for Hasbro I think. The first figures sucked and still sold fairly well so I'd think SA ones in a variety of colors for different theaters of operation in the war might go over well with collectors.
I'm excited for the set, but the 3 ARC repacks are going to have me buying only one of this set... 2 SA's are nice, but not worth multiple purchases.
-
The 1st (my revised ship date) has come and gone with no word. But since they're starting to hit TRU, they have to be getting ready to ship.
-

Dont count on it. Last night my order said it was being processed and I could not cancel. This morning my order is once again open ???

I agree, this pack needed a pilot for some balance.
-
No, it doesn't ...they just need to FAI
:slothus:
-
I don't know if I'll be buying this now...at least, for a while. With all these new Endor and Naboo figures coming out soon, I don't know if I'll be able to afford buying this, too. :-\
-
Picked up some of these today at my TRU. I really like how hasbro updated the detailing on the arms of the arcs( the yellow on the red arc's arms and the green on the blue arcs' arms. The mini-gun is really awesome ;D

Stop stealing my material :slothus: :homeschooled: :-* ;)
To stay on topic, still no sign of this at Amazon

Anyone notice the Toysrus website on these? No Longer Available! So for all you people like myself who ordered these months ago we may be screwed.

The TRU.com separation from Amazon.com can't come soon enough. Amazon has screwed up on every single SW order I've had with them since ROTS hit. My order has a new revised shipping date of July 2. ::)
These have been hitting locally but I haven't had the time to pursue them. I'm hoping they'll continue to ship for a while and I can resume a search once my move is over.
-
Picked this up yesterday at a local TRU. I have to say that the pack has fulfilled my worst dreams. The 3 blue arcs are just repaints of the orginials. The Red Arc Commander is articulated, but not to what I consider SA. The AT RT repaint is not the best, not bad just not great. His gun is very small and not a equal to what is in the caroon. I'll take some pictures and post them later. I'm only going to keep it because my son realy wants it.
-
Someone at scum said Amazon canceled their order. It was placed late April/Early May. I hope there's a logical explanation.
-

That's it, i'm not buying this.

My pics aren't that good but I really like these 2(gunner and Red Arc) at least..the waist doesn't move so you end up with 13 points articulation
on the gunner and red arc at least..haven't checked the blue ones yet..I consider this pretty articulated and I'm impressed. I really like the gunners' weapon I don't feel it's too small- the stuff in the cartoon was blown way out of proportion in my opinion anyway. The regular rifles in the cartoon look enormous
-
I've got a big problem with this "dream" battlepack...the plastic. The extent to which it is flimsy is ridiculous. When I was pulling rubber bands off of the first blue ARC I thought he had a ball jointed head and was really surprised to find out it was just cheap plastic making it appear that way for a bit. Big disappointment for me...I thought this was the coolest idea for a battlepack yet. :-\ It's still pretty cool, but I just can't look at it the same way with the plastic they used for the figures.

I'm in a separate battle with Amazon customer service right now about pre-orders not being filled (relating to Marvel Legends). It's absurd to say the least and the latest moron in customer service suggested I have the option to cancel my order ::) Well duh, no **** Sherlock, but that's not the point.
I know I'm not getting my pre-ordered stuff even though those that ordered when the links went live are getting it. It's the principle. Suffice to say I won't ever pre-order anything from those clowns again, but I'm more than happy to continue arguing with them.
-
My pre-order status still says:
Shipment #1: Not Yet Shipped
Shipping estimate: May 15, 2006
Delivery estimate: May 17, 2006 - May 18, 2006
::)
-
I put out a fresh case at TRU in Minnetonka, MN. The intersting thing is that the box says that it's the Hunt for Grievous on it, but the sticker had the former Defense of the Senate on it.
-
I seriously smirk when I see any Amazon preorders in here ever. Thanks to all the folks' horror stories that I've read IN HERE about cancelled orders, flopping shipping updates ect over the last 2 years I learned to never order from them. I'm actually quite surprised(and amused) to see folks still take risks and order from them.
The latest? It seems alot of folks that thought they were being clever and ordering 3 THFG packs to get the 3rd free during the 'buy 2 get 1 free promo' are now (not -so) mysteriously getting burned with order cancellations. It happened to some folks locally that I know...pretty pathetic.
Overall, Amazon sucks for TRU toy orders, period. Why would folks continue to use them after seeing all the neg. testimonial in here over the last couple years??!
-
Well I've never had a bad experience with Amazon till now. But they fufilled half of my order with the Gunship. So if I never see the 2 BPs I ordered then I got the Gunship for 35 bucks shipped which beats paying 45 bucks for it in the stores.
-
You know, the more I think about it, the more I think THIS (http://www7.toysrus.com/Investor/pr/052406.html) is why Amazon isn't taking any more orders for (or even shipping the existing orders for) the TRU Battle Pack anymore...
-
In my scenario, Iam being told the availability of the item has changed. It is actually not yet released, but they will keep the item on order for me until it is released. When it becomes available, the status of the item on my account will change from not yet released to its new availability. ???
For some people, orders have been cancelled. For some, release dates are pushed back until July/August. For the love of God amazon, get it right!
-
The whole Amazon TRU break up sheds some light on the pre order fiasco.
-
This IS too funny...I know too many folks that have been having problems with Amazon orders since last year...a break up makes sense now.
-
These still haven't hit out here... Not that I've seen in the last couple nights anyway. Hoping they do soon though, as this was a pack I actually was looking forward to some.
-
I was able to snag up 4 of these sets yesterday. 1x for me and 3 to share among my fellow Minnesoooooooooota pals. ;)
-
I'm still hoping my pre-order will come though. The last update I received gave a shipping date of 6/1.
I did pick a safety set up in TRU though. The three blue ARC's are kind of disappointing when compared to the other two, which are awesome, but what are you gonna do?
-
These just hit by me today. I was able to get two put on hold for me last night when they were unloading them from the truck. When I went in to pick them up this morning when they opened, the remaining four were nowhere to be seen.
This was only at one of the two TRU's in my area though. The other still has not gotten them, nor can they confirm when they will be. I still have another friend that needs two for himself. Hopefully there will be plenty more to come.
These are great sets and ones that I was happy to shell out $50 for!
-
I was just thinking how Hasbro obviously has the sculpts now, in bulk, for pumping out Clones of (most) all types and not having it cost them much... With the battlepacks that's great and seems to be the route they're taking, but I'm wondering if it'll be the same with basic figures...
I got 3 Evolutions sets online the other week and they arrived... It made me think though, why aren't they re-using either Clone sculpt in those sets? Why not the Sandtrooper too? I'd buy it in plain white, or white with "battle damage" as maybe an Endor Stormtrooper, or even as different flavored Sandtroopers... Or EU Troopers... They are re-using the VOTC Stormtrooper which debunks everyone who said "it's too expensive" to use again...
What I wonder though, will we see all these sculpts getting re-used? I think Hasbro really could just continuously re-use all of them and make some good scratch in the process, and not have to "limit" how many of these troops are out at one time...
Hell they could repaint the Evolutions set again, put it out again, and I'd buy it again. :) In multiples even.
This Battlepack just got me thinking about this... The battlepacks are almost always something "cheap" they can give to a retailer... This one is no different. I'd buy the Evolutions Clone Commander re-released in any color though, or the AOTC Trooper in all white or other ranks (than yellow), or the Sandtrooper... They put out a couple GREAT figures (IMO) in this set, and then re-released the ARC that really everyone seems to feel is somewhat a letdown at this point...
Why not just use the other commander sculpt they have to put out 3 new looking ARC troopers though? Strange on Hasbro's part...
Well, still no sign of these here... I'm looking forward to the set irregardless but I think 2 will be my max. I have a bag full of CW ARC Troopers still, so I have much less need for 3 more of them despite the nice paintjobs.
-
Just Sunday my Hunt for Grev pre-order was changed from shipping June 6th to shipping August 4th (my birthday). I left the order open, but will cancel it if me or any local buddies find them first...because I'm sure Amazon will cancel it anyway...
I just cancelled my Coruscant wave last week from EE, because I've found everythign in that case already...I'll prob be doing the same with the Tatooine wave...
-
this battle pack finaly hit my tru today, there where 5 sets, i grabbed 2. i plan to trade it for some other stuff i've been wanting if possible, if not i'd be more than happy to sell it to another JD member for cost and shipping. so if your in need of a set just pm me. my tru is also selling all the vintage style figures for $9.99, not sure if all the others are as well, thought it was worth a mention!
-
Ahhh I hate my TRU, they said that they had 1 left. But they couldn't find it anywhere. They looked in the entire action figure area and couldn't find it (after I looked everywhere). I'm wondering if I'm ever gonna get it. :'(
-
I wouldn't get my panties in a bunch already. This pack JUST came out. In a month or two then you can get depressed about it.
-
Haha, you both wear panties.
Kevin
-
I'll probally never find this set. :-[
-
I sure they'll get more sets in than gunships, and the gunships have arrived around here in massive quantities. I think in another couple of weeks, everyone will be finding them.
-
Haha, you both wear panties.
Kevin
Actually Boxers thank you very much, brief boy
The Gunship is actually stuck on the shelf no one is buying them for some reason, its the HFG that im worried about though
-
Haha, you both wear panties.
Kevin
In all fairness I do not wear panties everyday. Just when I am feeling pretty.

I saw a case of these today. I almost bought one, but for $27, I said no. Here is why:
The ARC mold sucks, and there are only 2 ARC rifles. The third has a long clone rifle.
The gunner, obviously, has the crappy AT-RT head and it does reuse GI Joe Roadblocks mini-gun.
The only up side is Fordo, but I hate the Sandtrooper style pauldron.
I feel repaints should be cheaper, since the molds are made. I vote pass.
-
Articulation definitely leaves much to be desired, but the paint jobs on these are way too cool for me to pass on. Besides, I broke down and bought the Gunship, so I gotta have the matching Clones for it, right? ;)
-
Correction, I free-ball.
Kevin
-
Man I am so glad I never plunked down the money to get the Clone Wars Arc Troopers cuz they totally suck. Captain Fordo and the heavy gunner are cool, but those Arc Troopers are a utter disappointment. And what's with all these half-assed pauldrons? What I thought would be coolest "exclusive" this year leaves me a bit irked.
-
You can send those sucky Arc Troopers my way if you'd like. ;D
-

I didn't buy the set, but I do have a Clone Wars one I do not need.
-
I got it today
I was disapoited on how flimsy the pauldrons were. I thought they would be like the Rots comnader pauldrons, you know stiff.
Oh well.
-
Traded for one this afternoon. I've yet to open it, but it looks okay for what it is. 5 figures for $25. And they're army builders, too. It's all good.
The ARC Trooper figure could definitely use some updating. But it's also not the worst figure going. I'm sure at some point Hasbro will update the ARC Trooper. Just not now.

They did update when they made that Fordo, but I guess half-ass is better than no-ass.

Oh well.
These are out at most of the TRU in my area, but in very limited quantities.
I agree, the pauldrons are disappointing. But I kinda knew what I was going to get with this set:
Fordo: Nice kit bashing.
ARC troopers: Good repaint. Better than the original greyish blue. I wish these
were kit bashed more like Fordo with a little more articulation.
Heavy gunner: My least favorite. Not a fan of the AT-RT head sculpt. I would
of been happy with another ARC trooper.
Unlike "Skirmish in the Senate", I don't think I will go overboard on buying this set. Overall, a nice set; but not a great set to add to my clone army.
-
I found these today, there was 1 case put out on the shelves. The first thing I noticed is that the paint jobs were ultra sloppy. Almost every set was like this. Additionally, I like how the red ARC and the heavy gunner have articulated knees, but the other 3 ARC's knees don't appear to be articulated. The pauldrons look kinda flimsy and not so good. The red ARC appears to have the wrong guns, looks like he has those 2 little pistols from the Clone Commander #33 as opposed to the long barreled revolver types in the cartoons.
In all, I put it back on the shelf. The $27 is more valuable to me, and that's saying a lot because I love clones. But these just do not make the grade.

That pretty much covers my assessment of them as well. Unfortunately, I can't change my mind in a day or two and pick them up. Since I was in the States, I opted for this over a Titanium 5 pack. I did manage to get the best paint job of the bunch but it still wasn't spectacular. I just decided that I probably wouldn't have another opportunity to get these clones, so I opted in.

They let you into the states? Why was I not informed?
If I was going to spend $27, and I was deciding between Titanium 5 pack or the ARC Clone battle pack, I'd go with the ARCs as well.
Of course, I probably would have picked it up if I didn't buy $114 in Tatooine wave figs at Target yesterday
-
They let you into the states? Why was I not informed?
North Dakota is only marginally the States. I believe most Americans think it's part of Canada, and it might as well be. Cold, flat, damned place.

Oh okay, I thought it might be ND. The authorities have been very good about informing me when you slip out beyond there.

You want me to pick one up for you? The 5 pack of Titaniums, I mean?

For all you folks who ordered from Amazon, I have received word from them today after dodging a half dozen of my emails. In short, your screwed. Even those like myself who preoredered this back in Feb are out of luck. They told me that none of the original orders were fulfilled. I thought I had read that a few people actually received them but according to them this is untrue.

It's a pretty disappointing set anyhow. But they should be readily available at your local TRU I'm sure.

They would be if my $hithole of a store ever gets more in. One person bought the one case they received and I was told no more were on order. Even the other exclusive BP's like the Hoth were non-existant at my store.
-
Jim..I wonder if Amazon dumped the orders because of their fight with TRU. OK, NM..I'm not wondering it.
-
Well after telling me that my order was essentially cancelled, I get an email now stating my figs would ship at the beginning of August. ??? I firmly believe that no one knows what the hell is going on over there. And to make matters worse I rechecked my TRU and they told me the same thing as last week. We are sold out and no more are on order ??? So essentially some TRU's are gettng multiple orders while others are not ???
-
I saw these for the first time last Friday at our local TRU. They had two on the shelves, and although I was tempted, I passed. I checked back yesterday and they were sold out. Funny though, we still haven't seen a single one of those clone wars Gunships at our store, where as it seems many people are seeing them sit at theirs. Not that I have the room for another one anyways ;).
-
I firmly believe that no one knows what the hell is going on over there.
I think you hit the nail on the head there. You can call/e-mail Amazon.com 10 times in a day and get a different answer every time... :-\
-
I wouldn't necessarilly believe my TRU's information either Jim... 9 chances out of 10 they're in the dark on what's coming in on any given truck on any given day. I have a friend who works for one locally and he is pretty blunt in telling me how clueless the employees are from management on down... They only know what they're getting when the truck is unloaded and not sooner, so I'd not believe them on this... NOt to say your store WILL get any stuff in either, just that it might.
My TRU's are hit and miss of late... SW they're pretty decent on but other toys I noticed are spotty distribution. The HFG hasn't shown up in Pittsburgh in any large quantity though if it's of any consolation. The stores have only gotten in a case or two at the most and they've done the same thing with selling cases to a single person too from what I understand, so hopefully they see they're selling fast and get more in. TRU's usually good with exclusives... :)
-
Found my pack today at TRU... I was impressed with the sculpts on the new blue clone and the red arc - decent articulation (even if lots of that was from other molds, and I have no idea if that's the case or not...) and I was thinking to myself how I might go pick up some more of these...
Then came the three grunt clones with their lame-ass rehashed elbowless sculpts and I realized that I'd just paid $25.00 for two solid figures and three crap ones.
-
I know how you feel.
At first glance, it looks like a good deal. Five figures at $5 a pop (as compared to $7 carded figures).
But then you open them and realize that the three pack clone trooper packs were a better deal (three figures at $3.33 a piece).
-
I have yet to do this, but if you have a pre-order with Amazon and call TRU at 1800 869 7787, they are supposed to be able to transfer your Amazon order to the new website.
-
i have managed to find tons of the hunt for grevious battle packs in my toys r us last time i check there was like 20! i only got one bc you realy dont need any more then one keep on checking at your local toys r us's they seem to be getting tons of them in!
-
Went to TRU again today, found 8 of these battle packs. All 8 of them had sloppy paint jobs.
Still had to pass.
-
Hunt for General Grievous is IN STOCK (http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2298497&cp=2255956.2262937.2274249&view=all&fbn=Taxonomy%7CAction+Figures&f=PAD%2FBrand+Name+Secondary%2FStar+Wars&f=Taxonomy%2FTRUS%2F2255958&fbc=1&categoryId=2274249&parentPage=search) right now at TRU.com!
-
Careful ordering these online though, I've seen some really sloppy horrendous paint job examples on the shelves. The articulation overall in this pack is bad, you should at least get a crisp looking set for your $32 shipped.
-
I saw these yesterday for the first time in person... man this is such a waste to me. I never really liked the Clone Wars version of the ARC Troopers, and to have to get several of those just for the Gatlin Gun Clone isn't worth it to me. I passed, and am glad I did. More for those people that are ARC Trooper fans I guess... but these just seem way too cartoonish.
:)
-
This set looks really cool in the box and for the first time (in a long while) I wish I had left them IN the box.
You can tell these figures are kit bashes...the pauldrons don't even fit (or stay on for that matter).
I really feel sorry for kids (parents) these days who buy these Battle Packs to play with. I had to remove all of the accessories before I let junior play with them because they are so prone to falling off and getting lost.
-

I'm with you CHEWIE...I passed on this thing too. It just seems like a huge kick to the nuts to me.
-
For those of you that waited, the new TRU website has them in stock.
-
I've not seen hide nor hair of these locally... I sorta hate to order online due to the paintjobs Dressel mentioned plus the simple fact they're $25 at retail and gonna cost $30+ at etail... :-\ I need two, and would've appreciated buying at TRU, however they came and went here without any sign of more arriving it seems.

Same for me Jesse. I just bit the bullet on the extra I will have to pay for shipping.
-
I sorta hate to... I dunno. I'm asking locals tomorrow what they may have handy to sell. TRU would overbuy a turd in a box, but if they got a $5 box of 30 Clones they'd order only 2 per store. This battlepack just turned out weird...
I'm sort of hopeful more come into the TRU's... There seemed to be more Gunships than battlepacks to go around. >:(
-
I picked one set up this weekend merely to finally have the right clone troopers with the clone wars cartoon gunship that I got a couple of months ago. The figures themselves are fine--- in the gunship and without touching them. Not a quality caliber of item though--- And as I just got a really good look at the Obi-Wan that's coming in the Naboo wave of the Saga I see another less than inferior figure (from Ep I) being repacked with the only saving grace being a cloth robe. Wish Hasbro would start making all of their figures in the same style as Obi-Wan #56. I can just imagine finally getting a Mace Windu like that.
-
why do the pauldron has a slit on the side
-
To slip on and off the figure easily, as the ARC sculpt wasn't a figure whose head was easily removed.
-
I got this set a few weeks ago and just opened it up, and I agree, its a big disappointment. The ARC Trooper is just a bad figure, you can't pose him in too many positions and of course, the pauldrons keep coming off. I might try to just glue them on. This definitely looks better in the box (just like the Target CLONE ATTACK ON CORUSCANT Battle Pack, those gray-detailed Clones were crap on a cracker).
-
I ordered one from TRU on Friday, and it arrived today. I was very pleased with this set. I liked the CW ARCs a lot, so the SA Heavy Gunner and ARC Fordo were the icing on the cake. Luckily, the paint applications were perfect on all five figures. I din't like the plastic parts of the packaging though, since I thought I was going to rip a limb or two off of the regular ARC troopers while getting them out.
-
I got lucky and found 3 at TRU. Now I jsut have to reorganize my Star Wars room to fit them and there Gunship in my Clone Wars diorama.
Fritzkrieg
-
Well, the TRU site has been up and running for over a week now and it SUCKS! I ordered the Grievous Battlepack the first day it went on sale on the new site (July 7th). The item was in stock. It continued in stock for several days at which point my had not shipped yet. I contacted them last night and I was told the item was SOLD out and my order would not be filled at this time. WTF is up with that? I'm not having much confidence right now. Seems like a new website with the same old BS as before.
-
I never got an official cancelation from Amazon. Are the orders being transfered to TRU or what?
-
I never got an official cancelation from Amazon. Are the orders being transfered to TRU or what?
Ant, I got an email from TRU/Amazon stating that any preorder scheduled to arrive after mid July would be cancelled.
When I go to my account page on the old TRU/Amazon it no longer shows any of the preorders I had.
-
I asked about my order a week ago and they bumped up my order to next day shipping and said it was still scheduled for a August 15th delivery.
-
Scratch that I got the cancellation email as well.
-
I just closed my account with Amazon, I am so sick of there unreliable service, they have let me down one too many times. They gave me the free next day shipping too. They know very well that they would not be delivering this item and the gunship. They are desperate to keep our buisness, they know where you are heading - TRU.com.
I found this at a TRU store and cancelled it with them before they could do it to me. I knew they would eventually.
I am so pleased TRU has their own site now. I just placed my ATAT and Xwing order. Screw Amazon, they cater to scalper like Brians toys!
C'mon cancel your amazon accounts with me and send them a message. :P
I must say this set was a real letdown overall. The shoulder pards are flattened, the arcs are lame CW versions, the paint jobs on the helmets are wrong and Fordo does not have a antenna. Your not missing much if you did not find it yet.
-
What I do not get is why the plugged Fordo's antenna hole. A little dremeling will fix that but still, what gives?
-
Like EVERY battlepack, it's a mixture of good and bad.
But I'm used to that now. Jedi V. Sith was the best battlepack for me personally since I didn't already own that Grievious figure.
But everyone of them is a mixed bag.
Here we get two cool figures and three very mediocre ones. The red commander is good and the chain gun guy is cool, too. but the others are pretty sloppy kitbashes with no articulation. Good background filler, but that's it.
Still....my minimum for buying a battlepack is two good figures, so this one just scrapes by. I'm glad I bought it, but not overjoyed.
-
Yesterday, I finally got a cancellation notice. :'(
-
Ok so am I the only one noticing how irregular this Toys R Us exclusive is from the standpoint of availability in stores? Normally, TRU over-orders their exclusive immensely and they are easy to find. Many TRU's 2+ years later still have the Jedi Council scenes, add heavy ordering of things like the 12" Dewback, the OTC Vader TIE, the ROTS Falcon, and last year's Hoth Battlepack and I totally expected to be able to locate this exclusive. I know they're Clones and all, but this is the first time since the TIE Interceptor that I have seen neither hide nor hair of this exclusive.
I went to the customer service desk this evening at the local TRU and asked them to do a check, they did not have any in stock. When I mentioned that they didn't even have a tag for the item on the shelves, the girl noted that they didn't bother since for the few battlepacks they got, they moved too fast. She did a check of other TRU's in a 20 mile radius and none of them showed having the HFG battlepack in stock. This is Chicago's north side we're talking about, that covers at least 5 other TRU's and none had them. Is this just such a popular item (compared to the Target battlepack which is clearancing) or did TRU overreact to previous glut of exclusives?

I think TRU finally got sick and tired of having to give out SW stuff on clearance and decided to cut back. In the case of this BP it sucks but overall I think it is a good thing. Those damn jedi council things were around forever and those whatever packs (imperial, naboo, etc etcrapara, etc) also warmed the shelves for a long time, a long time.
Do not get me wrong, I wanted a jedi council but the only thing good about those packs was the council floor/seats.

My local TRU got exactly one case of the HFG packs and never got another one. They have gotten at least three cases (6 total) of the Gunship, the third case of which was just put out this weekend, but no shelf tag, no ARCs, no nothing.
This TRU *just* put the Jedi Council sets (they only had the one with "Agen Kolar" in it) on clearance for 9.98, and they still have about 10 Falcons at the original 50 dollar price. Gobs of Polis Massans and Tarkins at regular price too. I always thought that Wal-Mart was the worst in the world for not wanting to clearance anything, but TRU is beating the living crap out of them in that department now.
I have to say that the BP didn't bother me as badly as it did some people. The blue ARCs didn't really bother me that much to be honest. I would have preferred an SA ARC in blue, but I know better than to expect anything special with BPs. My main problems with the set were:
1. The crappy "slit" pauldrons. I would have rather seen them go with the Sandtrooper style pauldron, inaccurate though it may be for the ARCs, as long as they would stay on.
2. Fordo's antenna (or lack thereof). Out of everything included (or not) in the set, this bugs me the most.
3. Weapon selection. Fordo doesn't have the traditional ARC handgun(s), I would have loved to have seen a missle launcher like the ARCs used in the cartoon, and the CHG has the wrong gun (and a GI Joe knock-off to boot). I would have gladly sacrificed one of the blue ARCs had Hasbro included a Fordo with antenna and handguns; one blue ARC with the ARC rifle and one blue ARC with the gatling gun; and the CHG with the Falcon-style backpack cannon harness.
All in all though, I think it's far better than the SITS Battle Pack and probably third overall after the Jedi Temple Assault and Clone Attack on Coruscant packs from last year. From the looks of things, though, it's going to pale next to the Windu BP.

I got a strange email last night. The new TRU cancelled my order for these. They gave no reason as to why. When I emailed them I got a generic email that did not explain anything. Seems like I was just not meant to have these ::)
-
I contacted my TRU last week they tell me that they don't expect to see this SKU again until 4 weeks from now...and even then there's only 1 case coming to the store!! Since I already have it... I'll do what I can for folks to try and grab this again when it rereleases.
-
I haven't seen one of these (or a shelf tag) for a month- is anyone coming across them?
-
I haven't seen one in a while. However, oddly enough I did see two Gunships (with Shelf tags) at TRU earlier this week.
-
I don't think anyone has reall seen it. It seems like this one was either really popular or just underproduced. :-\
-
My store got in one case months ago. I lucked out and was able to score one when the new TRU website went live, but have not seen them reappear on the site. TRU kept stating that more were on the horizon but I think it was BS. The previous TRU Battlepacks sat and gathered dust so I would not be surprised that they cut back orders. I am one of the few who really liked this set and thought it was nice getting 5 army builders.
-
My local TRU whse is still showing 96 of these in quantity, they just haven't shipped them out yet for whatever reason. :-\
-
All of the other exclusives seem to be showing up in quantity. Why would this one be an exception?

It's just a function of the battlepacks at 24.99 selling out first being more affordable, and the 44.99 ships hanging around longer due to the excessive cost.
-
I think it's as much an issue of availability with the battlepack though as it is with the price... The ships definitely have their price to blame, plus the lack of "newness" with them. The battlepack though not only is cheaper (some battlepacks just sit and sit though and even cost less than this) but I can speak for my area at least that one of 3 TRU's I try to hit routinely didn't even get a shipment of HFG's in while the other 2 I hit got in either 1, or 2 cases with a 1-case-resupply at one point and that's been IT. It's a very weird situation with a battlepack that was one of the bigger hyped sets of the year. I was lucky I got my 2 when I did or I'd be SOL for a birthday gift for someone this month. ::)
-
Yeah, I'm certainly thinking in realm that Jesse's coming from. For example, my Local TRU had, at one point, 20 Gunships sitting on the shelves at the same time. That was just one of several shipments. I think they have only received two cases of HFGG, so just in terms of quantity, my store has physically received less BP's than ships. ???
-
Commenting on this because I think it needs to be commented on.
Why in the world are we seeing sooooo many of the other TRU exclusives but no more of the BP's? ???

Saw a fresh case put out at TRU on Thursday. All 6 BP's gone by today.
I think I mentioned earlier in the thread, I think this set is disappointing, so I passed. Just too limited in articulation and the red ARC has too many accuracy problems for my liking.
I'd pay $10 if it made clearance but not $25.

Fordo is alright, but how Hasbro could screw up his trademark double pistols and holsters I have no idea. They just didn't give a ****. They just took the kama and double holdout blasters from the #33 clone commander and called it a day on the Fordo figure. That makes a big difference. This is what he's supposed to look like:

As opposed to the half-assed piece of **** Fordo weapon arsenal we got from Hasbro:

And that worries me a lot. I think that with the overall visibility and popularity of the ARCs in the CW toon, the relative scarcity of the 2003 CW ARC Troopers (especially the red one), and the price that was being charged for this set (5 bucks more than any other BPs at other retailers), Hasbro could have at least drilled a small hole in the side of the helmet and given him an accurate kama with two big blaster pistols. I'd have even been okay with them giving him a 33 Clone Commander pauldron instead of the Sandtrooper-style version. How they neglected to see no antenna and totally inaccurate kama/weaponry as acceptable in a highly anticipated/requested figure is beyond me.
And lets not even get into the fact that the Clone Heavy Gunner doesn't use that gatling gun to begin with, and they don't even include the gun he's supposed to have (the big quad-laser thing).
My only hope is that the rumored ARC Trooper Alpha in the Comic Two Packs is an all-new SA Blue ARC Trooper in the post-Geonosis style, so they can simply do a repaint of him for the regular carded line after a few months.
Hasbro's had years to get the Trooper approach right and I still don't think they get it. How else can you explain their outright stubborness with the VOTC Stormtrooper, the paltry quality of the ARC Troopers, the complete lack of a newly sculpted Kashyyyk Clone Trooper and other soldiers, and their continually holding on to this notion that "Cases of Clones won't sell" when, as the GB/H&V assortments have shown, Clones are all that DO sell in those assortments for the most part. ::)

WOW! I did nt know how popular these things have become. Me and my friend staked out TOy"s we figured out what day they were going to be shipped, we went their the night before the manager on duty would not let us get on that night even though they have them in the store. SO we went back the next morning and picked up 3 sets each. Now that I think about I think I saw them there only one other time.
-
i noticed the gunships peg warmed while the trooper set only came out for one day :-X
there was still two gunships at TRU last time i went.
-
I'm glad I got mine...took some "research" on the part of my friend and I, but we cleaned up on them we divided a case between us...(=
-
Still not sure what everyone likes about this. Saw a few lying around yesterday at TRU. Scanned one and they were still full price. This pack is a bunch of inadequately articulated, poorly sculpted, sloppily painted throwbacks from 2002. Fordo's guns, his trademark, are wrong. Really wrong.
Why anyone even wants this is beyond me. It's a half-assed piece of junk. Especially at that price.
-
You're right, they suck...big time. But they are new clones.
-
well i never got any of those sculpts before save for the red guy BUT i have the ship and it looks pretty plain with out the troops
-
The fact that they are clones puts this set in a high category. The fact that the set is an exclusive puts it in a high category still, so here is a built in mystique to a certain crowd whose numbers are enough to make this piece a pain in the but to get. :(

Now here's an ARC trooper:

WOH! i havent seen pics of these guys yet. kool!

Now here's an ARC trooper:
Damn right! Only thing that stinks is that he comes with Obi-Wan. Hopefully that ARC will be packed on his own card in 2008 or 2009.

please hasbro....start selling the comics in Canada :'(
