Many sites have trivia threads dedicated to specific movies, or shows, events, etc, but not this one! Welcome to the official Ultimate Trivia thread! Any trivia goes, as long as it has a real and valid answer. Try to at least keep this on the level of Trivial Pursuit (ie no Advanced Astrophysics or Thermodynamics of Metals Under Stress type questions). All you have to do is answer the question correctly, and ask your own question! Perhaps if we work hard enough, we can beat out that darned Word Association thread ;)
I'll get the ball rolling:
Who plays Ben McKenna in Alfred Hitchcock's "The Man Who Knew Too Much"?
Que sera, sera. Whatever will be, will be. The future's not our's to see. Que sera, sera, what will be, will be...

Ok, maybe a bit too tough?
Here's a hint:
He also starred in Vertigo, Rear Window, had a small role in Rope, and has a best friend named Harvey, who happens to be a 6'3" rabbit...
-
A bit too tough? It's only been on for around 35 minutes. ;D
Give us time. ;)
-
Ok Mr Smartypants why dont you answer? Yeah, thats what I thought ;) J/K
-
Too hard? Please... Maybe for Dale! :P But you're gonna have to make it tougher than that for the rest of us Adam! ;)
Jimmy Stewart! (watched Rear Window in my film class in college)
Hmm... Let me think about my question for a minute here...
OK, I'm a music guy, so...
What artist(s) sang the song that holds the record for most total weeks at # 1 on the Top 100 Billboard Music Chart? That's kinda a tricky two-part question if you really think about it... ;)
-
Mariah Carey?
-
Hmmm, you're making this kind of difficult Adam... 'Cause I'll be giving you a serious hint when I say that you're exactly HALF right... To make up for squeezing that hint out of me, and if you want full credit here, you better give me the "other half", as well as the name of the song now!
Tick-tock, tick-tock... I'm waiting... :)
-
Ah man, you're killin me here!
-
It was with Boyz II Men in One Sweet Day
-
Who holds the all time NBA record for assists in one game...

Ha! I was a big, big Magic fan in MS/HS.
Scott Skiles, of the Orlando Magic, back when he, Nick Anderson, and DENNIS SCOTT of all people, ran things.
That was the most exciting thing Orlando ever had happen to them before Hackelle joined 'em.

In what John Carpenter movie did special sunglasses give pro wrestler Rowdy Roddy Piper the ability to see aliens who appeared in human form to the naked eye?

Mr. Wonderful Paul Orndorff / RRP vs. Hulk Hogan / Mr. T. Muhammand Ali was the special guest ref. Piper / Orndorff was accompanied to the ring by Cowboy Bob Orton. Superfly Jimmy Snuka accompanied Hogan / BA Barracus.

I've heard minor rumblings. Depending on what the script is, it could be a good popcorn flick. (not that the show was Oscar material) I'll see if I can dig some info up.
And I'll think of another question ;D
-
Here's what I found about the A Team movie
http://movies.go.com/movies/A/ateam_2002/index.html
I like the idea of a new team (B-Team? ;)) with cameos from the surviving original members, but wouldn't rule out a remake of the show using Hannibal, BA, Face and Howling Mad Murdock.
