Not much is known about this wave at this time, except that it will consist of six or seven figures and should be available in September (or thereabouts).
The only figure confirmed right now is the Giant Thuggee Guard:
There was this (puzzling) response, though, in this week's Q & A:
We've seen a number of UK Toy Fair reports which detail the 3 3/4" Indiana Jones line. Raiders, Last Crusade and Crystal Skull all seem to be represented - but Temple of Doom appears strangely lacking. Are you, like Lego, avoiding merchandise from this film due to it's darker tone? Will we ever see Willie, Short-Round and Mola Ram in plastic form? (TPU, 02/27/08) (http://www.theprivateuniverse.co.uk/cgi-bin/showarticle.pl?section=news&articleid=2675)
Wave 4 of the IJ basic figure line will be Temple-themed, and it will be a doozy of a wave. We showed one image at Toy Fair - of a Temple Thug - and we can tell you that this is one fine wave. As for specific characters, we will confirm Wave 4 at Toy Fair (if not before).....the remaining one(s) will be be in the first of the 2009 waves.
Now I don't know whether to make heads or tails of this answer. They confirmed Wave 4 at Toy Fair, but none of the characters in it save the Thuggee. It sounds to me like maybe they're saying two of the characters mentioned will be in Wave 4, but the last one will be in the first '09 wave. I don't know.
If I were a gambling man, I'd say that Rope Bridge Indy, Mola Ram, Short Round, and some version of Willie Scott are a lock for Wave 4, along with the Giant Thuggee.
-
I bet they meant Comic Con
Here's my guess:
Rope Bridge Indy
Mola Ram
Short Round
Willie Scott (Club O-W)
Tuxedo Indy
Lao Che
Maharajah
Giant Thuggee
-
Yeah, I'm thinking SDCC as well... My guesses are like this...
-Giant Thuggee
-Regular Thuggee
-Rope Bridge Indy
-Short Round (packed with something to even it out?)
-Mola Rahm
I would bet no Willie Scott, at least not yet. I'd think a second Indy may even be more likely, actually. Could be wrong I guess, I just think Hasbro has that stigma with female characters going on with this line.
-

I don't think so. Elsa is rumored for Wave 3, Cate Blanchett and Marion are in Waves 2 and 1, I would think there would be a Willie in Wave 4.
-
All I know is that there better be a deluxe figure with a mine car!
-
Yeah, I'm thinking SDCC as well...
Yeah, that makes sense, I guess. But if Wave 4 is due in September, that's just five or six weeks after SDCC. I bet we'll know it's contents much sooner than that. June at the latest, would be my guess.
My guesses are like this...
-Giant Thuggee
-Regular Thuggee
You think they'd put two Thuggees in the first wave? I bet we'll get a regular Thuggee at some point (packed in with a mine car in the Deluxe line, maybe?) but I doubt it'll be in the same wave as the Giant one.
-Short Round (packed with something to even it out?)
I'd like to see Shorty with a mine car pack in (although they're not doing any big accessory pack-ins in the first two waves, so that may be unlikely). He could be packed in with the Maharajah or a slave kid (although those seem somewhat unlikely as well--the latter, especially so). Aside from those things, I don't know what else they could put in with him. Maybe they'll skip the single-carded release altogether and do a Shorty with Mine Car Deluxe set?
I would bet no Willie Scott, at least not yet. I'd think a second Indy may even be more likely, actually. Could be wrong I guess, I just think Hasbro has that stigma with female characters going on with this line.
I have to agree with my esteemed colleague Robo-Quack here. I don't see any stigma with female characters. I'd be more surprised if they didn't do a Willie in Wave 4, actually. My only question is which outfit it'll be. The nightclub dress is the most-interesting, visually, but it would make for a crappy action figure. The other outfits are a little more bland but would probably play better. Maybe we'll get a Willie in the sacrifice cage? That'd be cool.
-
The stigma, I'm saying, comes from their Q&A's and things... They claim any female character doesn't sell well... Just going by what they say is all there. I think Willie's the least itneresting of the Jones women personally, so I just have this suspicion she'll get shafted... I could be wrong of course.
I really think the Thugee (regular one) could happen because he's an army builder, and so far they seem to want to have one army builder with every assortment. The German, Russian, etc. Even the motorcycle German in the deluxe assortment, who's sort of out of place since he's the only TLC figure out even.
Just guessing though... We didn't get the German Mechanic so I'm sort of surprised at the big Thuggee.
-

I hear ya. I'm just going off of what they've done so far with this line, with at least three females in the basic line and one in the Deluxe. I don't think they're ignoring the ladies at all. And especially with Temple of Doom, which doesn't seem to have as many viable candidates for figures as the others, I don't know how they couldn't do Willie early on.

I don't disagree with you there (you have to wonder how much better Temple of Doom would have been without her shrill shrieking and carrying on), but I wonder if this guy does:
(Maybe this is a dumb question but I wonder if her being Spielberg's wife will have anything to do with how her character is treated, toy-wise.)
. . .
(Yep, dumb question.)
I really think the Thugee (regular one) could happen because he's an army builder, and so far they seem to want to have one army builder with every assortment.
Yeah, I think we'll see a normal Thuggee at some point, I just don't think it'll be in the same wave as the Giant one.
Just guessing though... We didn't get the German Mechanic so I'm sort of surprised at the big Thuggee.
We didn't get the Mechanic this year because Pat Roach was such a hulking behemoth of a man that Hasbro can only afford to do one of his characters a year. (http://images.dvdtalk.com/images/smilies/lol.gif)
German Mechanic in '09, Giant Sherpa in 2010?
-
Too bad he only had a minor cameo in LC.
I see TOD being like this-
Bridge Indy
Short Ram & (Maybe) Prince
Mola Ram
Lao Che Goon
Willie Scott
Giant Thugee
-
I like the idea of a Loa Che Goon/Shanghia Gangster, but if that happens I want a Tuxedo Indy to go along with him. Actually, that would make a great second TOD wave..
Tux Indy
Lao Che
Gangster
Willie in red dress.
-
A club Obi-Wan wave would be friggin' sweet actually... A gangster, some of the main gangsters, Tux Indy, dress Willie, maybe Indy's waiter-assistant... I'd dig that wave a lot actually.
We didn't get the Mechanic this year because Pat Roach was such a hulking behemoth of a man that Hasbro can only afford to do one of his characters a year.
So he's kind of the Ephant Mon of Indiana Jones? :)
-
Yeah I think Tux Indy is the only figure I really need from TOD.
That and maybe Mola Ram.
-
Actually, I really want them to make the guys that help Mola Ram n the Altar...the ones with the white skirts and skull make-up. I officailly dub them Altar Goon.
-
Agreed... TO be honest, I'd take a Colonial British Soldier, the skull make up guys, little thuggee's, some Chinese gangsters, a couple Indy's, etc.
A cool railway mining car set would be really neat, but not hoped for. Honestly, who would expect a playset from Temple of Doom? :-\ Just doesn't seem likely unless it's something like a mining car with track pieces in the deluxe line. That seems like "it" that anyone could hope for.
-
I wonder if they'd go so far as to make the guy who gets his heart ripped out of his chest.
Maybe they'll make a deluxe of Willie with the cage she gets put in.
We might get Indy without a shirt on too, when he's possessed.
I'd really like to see an Elephant made as well.
-
Maybe they'll make a deluxe of Willie with the cage she gets put in.
That would be cool. I'd also like to see deluxe mine cars, an elephant, and (dreaming) a bridge playset.
-
I like the idea of a Loa Che Goon/Shanghia Gangster, but if that happens I want a Tuxedo Indy to go along with him. Actually, that would make a great second TOD wave..
Tux Indy
Lao Che
Gangster
Willie in red dress.
I think that's probably what we'll get in '09.
-
Looks like we might get an "Altar Priest" after all, check out the Adventure Heroes TOD sets!
-
How about Deluxe Willie w/ table and monkey brain dessert!
-
How about Deluxe Willie w/ table and monkey brain dessert!
That is just a given, I think we will see it in the adventure heroes line first. You know with the big kiddie monkey face smiles
-
See, I'd love Willie with a monkey's brain dining accessory. That would rock... I'm depressed at the thoughts they probably won't get to stuff like that. :)
-
In Wal-Mart's computer:
# 6-53569-31614 -- Indiana Jones -- Last Crusade (?) (40661)
# 6-53569-34278 -- Temple Guard (40824)
# 6-53569-34274 -- Indiana Jones -- Temple of Doom (?) (40765)
# 6-53569-34277 -- Willie Scott (40790)
# 6-53569-34276 -- Short Round (40788)
# 6-53569-34279 -- Mola Ram (40834)
# 6-53569-34275 -- Temple Thug (34275)
(from CTR (http://cooltoyreview.com/story/front/Hasbro_New_Indiana_Jones_Toys_Revealed_113968.asp))
-
Cool. I assume that Temple Thug is the Giant Thuggee...so the Temple Guard is a regualr Thuggee. Where's the Altar Priest?
-
I would actually buy the poor fella that gets the heart ripped out. I doubt Hasbro will make it though. Of course would need Mola Ram holding up the heart aflame with a psycho open mouth smile. Maybe SideShow will?
-
I'd like the painted guys, the heart ripped out guy as a deluxe figure, Indy posessed... I'd take it all.
Glad to see a small Thug and a large thug.
-
I get the feeling we'll get that sacrifice cage in some form or another, either with the heartless dude or with Willie. Maybe even in the Deluxe line, if it's still continuing by the time they get around to it.
-
Pics!

Mola Ram comes with the flaming heart... Nice...
More thoughts later.
-
Very nice. I may skip Willie, but the other four are a must.
-
Ooh... I like them. I'll definitely grab 1x each... :)
-
Very nice, and 2 thugs = 8) to me. I want to see maybe the sacrifice priests, and the other outfitted thugs... No Indy? Interesting.
-
No Indy? Interesting.
I think there is supposed to be a rope bridge/torn shirt Indy in this wave... Hasbro confirmed it in a Q&A.
My thoughts on this wave...
Shorty- Looks pretty good. Face looks a bit weird, but it could just be the pic. Hopefully his cap is removable, and I love his torch. This is a definite buy for me.
Willie- Don't stone me for saying this, but Willie was always my favorite Indy girl. I always liked the thought of Indy getting stuck with a completely useless gal on one of his adventures, in contrast to the tough and resourceful Marion. I like the figure, but I hope she comes with some actual accesories, maybe some chilled monkey brains? ;) Or, better yet, maybe a sacrificial cage. Might be better for the Deluxe line, but hey, if Hasbro can pack in a large accesories with the Star Wars line, they can do it with the Indy line. A buy for me.
Thuggee- Always up for some army builders, and this looks like a good one. Buy.
Giant Thuggee- Looks like a good figure, but probably a pass.
Mola Ram- Love that that they included the flaming heart, that's crucial to the character, and it looks great. Nice figure all around, a possible buy for me.
-
AWESOME! These loook great! I really like Willie, and I thought she'd be the stinker of the wave. 2 things though...what's that around Short Rounds neck? And, which Thuggge is that? Didn't they wear black robes and have uncovered faces? This line is turning out to be great.
-
This wave looks great. I've been waiting for Mola Ram since the line started. :)
-
Other than Short Round's cartoonish looking face, every figure in this wave is just about perfect.
-
Another strong wave, TLC & TOD waves seems to be the best ones.
-
I hope we see this wave. The WM's around here are overflowing with the first two waves. I gree Wave 3 & 4 rock. I am starting to get into this line......great more stuff to buy.
I want to see the battered Indy of this wave, it's one of his most iconic looks.
-
Mola Ram looks STUNNING. Love it. I'm in for the wave for sure!
-
Like everyone else so far, I think this wave looks pretty great too. I'm glad we're finally seeing some pics of it. I'm pretty sure we're supposed to get the torn shirt Indy in this wave as well (mentioned earlier), and that would bring the total figures for the year to 29, which I think was on Hasbro's Indy presentation. The initial launch of 17, then two waves of six to round out the year.
Overall, the wave looks really nicely done though, and I'm looking forward to picking them up. Although ToD is not my favorite of the Indy movies, I still enjoy it, and have a lot of fond memories watching it with my dad when I was a kid. I think it was one of the first ones we had on tape at our house (taped off cable I think), so we got a chance to watch it quite a bit. Anyways, nice lineup, and I'm wondering if this wave will end up wrapping up the year on Indy figs. That was the original plan, but with the TLC wave starting to show up now that just leaves this wave for the rest of the year, which is possible I guess.
-
Any idea as to what the pack in pieces will be with each figure?
-
These are the six that are left-over from Hasbro's original list of 29 relics for 2008, so it's likely these are the 6 relics for the ToD wave...
- Anubis Statue [?]
- Aztec Sun Dial [?]
- Easter Island Head [?]
- Temple of Doom Medallion [?]
- Chinese Lion [?]
- Spartan Helmet [?]
-
Like all of you I agree this wave looks awsume. I love the Flaming Heart I think that is the best piece yet. I can't wait for this wave
I keep looking at this wave and wonder what great customs Chewie is going to come up with.
-
Another awesome wave! Willie and Mola Ram are outstanding. :)
-

So the sixth relic would be with the ToD Indy figure that's not yet pictured?
And I also agree, this is a great wave. :)
-
Very nice looking wave. But considering my main focus is SW and my collecting budget will be held back as it is,(due to university) I may only get short round
-
They look great, For Willie I would have prefer they did her in her Red Evening Dress in the beginning of the film at Club Obi Wan. Mola Ram is the one I am looking for the most, I can't believe they will sell Short Round by himself.
-
... I can't believe they will sell Short Round by himself.
Short round = droid.
-
Indy revealed!
And Hi-Res shots here (http://www.indianajonescollectors.com/).
Looks damn good. They keep making the 80's Harrison Ford sculpts better by the wave!
-
Oh, hell yeah. ;D Least favorite movie, but great figs though. Definitely looking forward to these.
-
Y'know, not to sound pervy, but I wonder if Willie's skirt comes off, and she has the leggings on underneath that she wore through the chase scenes. That skirt could just wrap around, and have a slit in the back.
-
I am VERY excited about these figures. This is my favorite movie so I'm very pleased to see a nice collection of figures to start things off.
About the only thing I would have preferred is for Willie to be in the black pants/white shirt like she wore through a good portion of the movie and then had on again at the end of the movie.
Hopefully that will be the next version of her that they make, but they will probably make her in the red dress from the Anything Goes number instead.
-
I am surprised that Willie turned out as well as she did. Anyway, I will be all over this wave. I think they all look terrific. Short Round does have a different looking head sculpt but I will still get it. Of course I am hoping for some mine cars and Club Obi-Wan figures eventually.
-
It's a decent wave of good looking figures. I'd like to pick them up.
-
Temple of Doom Set of 6 Pre-Order for $54 (http://www.toyrocket.com/Indiana-Jones-Series-4-Temple-Of-Doom-Complete-Action-Figure-Set-P45665C0.aspx) at ToyRocket.
$54 is better than $75 from BBTS... (assuming the pre-order is correct that is).
-
Much better price but i stay away from them, a few bad experiences.
-
TNI (http://i.toynewsi.com/g/index.php?mode=album&album=Hasbro%2FIndiana_Jones%2FFigures%2FWave_04%2F&dispsize=600&start=0) has carded and loose shots up of this wave, for anyone interested.
-
The wave looks great, looking forward to it.
-
Indy's satchel looks like can open, for the "forthcoming?" sankara stones. Still not a great headsculpt, but Mola Ram and Willie are fabulous
-
I was just checking my preorders over at BBTS, and although I'm glad I have it on order (since the retail situation isn't too spiffy right now for Indy), it seems crazy that it is $75 for a set of 6 Indy figures (3 3/4") and I have Wave 3 of DCUC Classics (Case of 6 figures, plus the BAF) on order for $65. Anyways, off topic a bit, but just something I noticed. Hopefully I'll find them at retail (or on HTS) and be able to cancel my order eventually, but we'll see.
-
I hope this wave isn't as elusive as the Last Crusade wave.
-
Just got an e-mail from BBTS saying my preorder has been filled ;D
-
Me too! :)
-
My order has also now shipped from BBTS so I'm covered on ToD. :) Still in need of Elsa and Vogel though.
-
Just got my TOD wave in the mail today. Can't wait to go home and open it. The heart with Mola Ram isn't as cool as it looked in earlier photos. I was actually hoping that the heart would look like a heart. Instead it is just a red painted orb with flames. Kinda lame.
-
I've been without internet for about a week, but I got my preorder/shipping confirmation from BBTS as well, so hopefully they'll be here in about a week. Now I just need Elsa and Vogel and I'll be complete.
-
I got an email from Toyrocket saying their ToD stuff arrives this week, so when that shows, I'll only need Elsa to complete my collection.
-
I got my figures last night, first glance, nice, really nice...too bad nobody will be able to readily get them :-\
-
Good news, thanks Scott. I'm assuming mine will arrive next week. I'm still holding hope they'll release the next set of ROTLA figures to online retailers and will happily order online that way as well. I agree few will find this wave if they wait on regular retail.
-
I waited, and now I'll suffer. I'll deal though. The IJ line's become significantly less important to me now that Hasbro's said it's dead in the water.
-
It's more important to me now. Now I want to make sure that I get all of the figs!
10 dollars says that I'll find the entire TOD wave in a Rite-Aid in 2010
-
It's more important to me now. Now I want to make sure that I get all of the figs!
Agreed - if you've been collecting the line since it launched in May, getting the ToD is the most important addition you could make to that collection so far.
I'm holding out hope that HTS is going to be expected to sell through a good amount of the ToD wave. I also keep hoping that WM will get them in (even though my local WMs have marked the figures down to $5.44).
I've been seeing the Last Crusade wave more and more lately - and I mean them all, I saw an Elsa and Vogel just the other day. So it's not like the quantities weren't made of Wave 3 - hopefully it was too late to cut the Wave 4 production short and there will be plenty of them to be had.
-
Just as a heads up, but HTS has put up this wave on their site (listed as "Coming Soon"). I'm sure that you'll have to be quick to nab them from there, but it might be a chance to not only pick up this wave - but get it for closer to retail price. I've got a set coming next week from BBTS, and I'm really looking forward to it. Its a shame this might be the last wave, because from the indications/reviews from people who have them, its the nicest wave of Indy figures yet. The quality might have been improving.
-
It's now showing out of stock. :(
-
I left work and they were still listed as coming soon. I check when i get home and sold out ::)
-
Looks like they were only available for about 20 minutes starting at 4:30 or so. I didn't know about it till it was too late. But since collectors don't shop on-line, I'm sure this was just an error and Hasbro will correct it and these will soon be available again for mothers and children all over the nation.... ::)
E...
-
It sells out in 20 minutes but the fanbase is not large enough? Hmmm...
-
It sells out in 20 minutes but the fanbase is not large enough? Hmmm...
I don't think that really means anything. Suppose 1,000 people (I'm being generous) bought up everything on the website in those 20 minutes. Out of those 1,000, how many were fans and how many were people looking to flip them on Ebay? Even if all 1,000 were fans and collectors of the line, that's way too few people to support a line in retail stores nationally ... and even less if you look at it as a worldwide number.
-
Agreed, the 20 minutes isn't particularly telling. But I do think their inability to keep the TLC wave in stock, aside from the Young Indy figure, is more telling. Henry Jones has been obtainable on the site, but Elsa and Vogel have been remarkably difficult.
While that doesn't necessarily indicate MASSIVE sales for the line, it should be fairly indicative to Hasbro what portion of the collecting market is buying this stuff up. Those figures would have limited appeal to anything but adult collectors. This line wasn't so hard to figure out at the start, even before it was released - the primary buyer will be an adult collector. Why couldn't the big H see that when it seems to have been fairly obvious to everyone else? [/standard bitchfest run]
-
The combo of retailers buying too much of the same product (yet again) and some lame figures choices for the first two waves did not help. That and kids just are not into it at all did not help. It's too bad. I really liked the lineup of figures for the most part and looked forward to the Raiders wave 2. I wish they would have made a few other items.
-

Agree completely.
My case from BBTS showed up and all have good paint jobs, so I am very pleased.
-
Guys, they might have had 10 cases, therefore only 10 Elsa and 10 Vogel. However, Hasbro saying that collectors don't use the internet is assinine.
-
So you figure over the span of a couple of months they parceled out 10 of each? :o ;)
-
No, I was talking about that 20 minute window where some TLC figures were in stock. It could have been only 5-10 figs!
-
It looks like this wave is up at HTS again (preorder) shipping in November. Not a bad deal to get them for retail, if the order goes through. You can also use the fall20 promo code if you place an order. I got this wave from BBTS yesterday, but I ordered an extra Indy from HTS.
On the topic of this wave, I have to say it might be the best one yet from this line. Kind of a bummer that it might be the last, but I guess at least they went out on a high note. I haven't gotten a chance to open them yet, but I think this Indy might be the best of the bunch - the rest of the wave is very well done too. It makes me wish we would have seen more from this line, as they seem to have gotten things together now.
-
Scored the wave w/ the promo code. ;D Still up, except for the guard it seems.
-
All gone.
-
Ugh... why do they always pop up cheap at HTS when I'm not around to catch them. >:(
-
Dammit, I wish I'd have gotten in on that. My Toyrocket preorder is now showing Dec. 08, which probably means it isn't going to show up. I should just order the case on EE and hope for better.
-
I decided yesterday to assemble a set of the Indiana Jones line.
Is there any hope that this wave will show up in stores? Or do I need to order from EE to get them?
-
At this point, there is very little hope that the ToD wave will show up in stores. :-\
I'm probably just gonna order this wave from EE myself, I think that's the best way to go. Good luck, Rob! :)
-
It would just be a shame to pay what amounts to around $10 per, when if they hit stores they'll be $5.44 at Wal-Mart...
-
Today at Target I had a very, very annoying experience. The ToD wave was IN THE ******* BACKROOM, but the stupid he/she/it employee wouldn't pull it for me, despite my intention to buy the entire case from those ********. I plan on writing, a very, very angry letter to Target regarding this encounter with 'Yvette' and Target's quote, "problem they have with collectors." >:(
And yet, I still walked out of there with a ton of Star Wars crap. :-\
-
Is the DCPI for this wave floating around anywhere?
-

Depends, my WMs still have them at $6.94...

They wouldn't give you your toys? That's it? Good luck with that very, very angry letter.
Take a deep breath sonny.

Okay, I've calmed down a bit. :)
I'm still pretty pissed off though, to think that I could've gotten the ToD wave today at retail price. :'(
-
How did you know it was the TOD wave in the back? Did someone back there confirm which figures were in the case that they wouldn't sell you?
-
With the answer that Hasbro gave Cool Toy Review in this week's Q&A session where they recommend getting this wave online 'cause it will most likely not make it to the big retail chains - I decided to place an order for this wave from Entertainment Earth.
I'm not overly thrilled with getting like six additional Indiana Jones figures that I don't really need, but I guess now I'll just hope that they ship me the wave so I get it before December 30th so I'll just rip those guys open to send away for another Crystal Skeleton.
I know the other option was to buy them off eBay - but a quick scan of auctions for complete sets shows that the going rate for a set of six is the same price as the case from EE, so just for the stickers alone the EE option wins.
I am keeping an eye on an auction for 3 of the Temple Guards, since my wants from this wave were 1 of each figure, two of the Head Guards and at least 4 Temple Guards, winning that auction would help me get towards my goal. Combine that with the Head Guard my friend was able to score for me as part of a trade, and I'll be finally all set with this wave.
Sucks that it had to come to this. Why couldn't Hasbro have just dumped the ToD wave on HasbroToyShop.com?

Today at Target I had a very, very annoying experience. The ToD wave was IN THE ******* BACKROOM, but the stupid he/she/it employee wouldn't pull it for me, despite my intention to buy the entire case from those ********. I plan on writing, a very, very angry letter to Target regarding this encounter with 'Yvette' and Target's quote, "problem they have with collectors." >:(
And yet, I still walked out of there with a ton of Star Wars crap. :-\
I think it's perfecly logical to be pissed off at them. It doesn't matter that they're
"just toys". With the economy the way it is, stores should sell whatever they can to who ever wants it.
-
I've heard that this wave might be showing up at TJ Maxx stores. I hit a couple today, but no luck so far.
-
That would be awesome. I just can't bring myself to spend $100 for six figures.
-
They did hit TJ Maxx before Christmas, and apparently were gone about 2-3 weeks ago in my area. I've checked two different stores in my area a couple times and only find a ton of Young Indy.
I've also heard that they have been found at Marshall's, though that was just a friend talking who doesn't collect the line. I went by a Marshall's tonight and didn't see any Indy stuff.
-
I saw some TLC figures, but no vehicles or anything else. That was after Christmas, though. Plus their toy section looks worse than K-Mart's. It's like they just toss **** right out of the cases and wherever it lands is where it gets sold.
-
TJ Maxx is still getting stuff, so keep checking... Ours just got TLC and cargo trucks in this past couple weeks or so. Not very long though, so it's still trickling out. I think TOD's just gonna be a tough wave to track down ultimately though.
Check ROSS Dress 4 Less, and other discounters though. ROSS got in those titanium figures nobody could find like 3PO and Luke. I got those there and didn't even collect the line but wound up with rare stuff. Go figure.
-
I've been hitting the local Dollar Generals/Family Dollar too, since they're ubiquitous around here. No luck. Found some Legendary Comic Book Heroes figures, but only the two-packs.
-
WOW! Just got a case from EE! Holy sh*t these are fantastic figures. I may need to get another temple guard (Thuggee.) It's a real shame that this line died an early death. As others have said, some of Hasbro's best work ever.

Yeah, I was just looking at my Indy figures the other day again, and its really a shame this line died just as Hasbro appeared to be hitting its stride. The ToD wave is pretty much close to perfect top to bottom, and like you said, some of Hasbro's best work. Its also too bad its the scarcest of all the waves, since it is so well done. At the time I went back and forth whether or not to keep my preorder at BBTS for this wave, since it was higher priced, but I'm glad now that I did.
