I just want to ask the writers if they ever plan on killing Ward or should I just check out and stop watching now.

Well, I'm already slated to see it Thursday, Friday and Saturday (tickets in hand), so I can easily see this breaking records for opening weekend.  Every theater around my area is sold out, so I have a feeling this is going to be pretty epic.

I'm with you Jeff, every day is a battle.  I used to spend a lot of time on Yahoo but it seems like every other article is about TFA spoilers.  The next five weeks can't go by fast enough...

We ended up getting a PS4 to replace our Wii.  My sons are 10 and 11 and they have really enjoyed playing the new console.  But aside from the Lego games and Infinity, there really aren't too many other titles for them other than sports or shooting games.  They are pretty content playing Infinity, MLB, Minecraft and Lego though.

For some of the inconsistencies or plot holes, I would really like to see them have some flashbacks with Rex revisiting the end of the Clones Wars.  Would be a way to fill in the gaps of what we were given in the Lost Missions and what we are seeing now.  Don't know the legal logistics of whether Disney can do that since TCW was a Cartoon Network show, but would still  be better than what we are getting so far.

Torres gets 41 game suspension.  Can't say I'm surprised or sympathetic.  About time this goon gets a substantial punishment...

Has anyone gotten this release yet and started playing.  The boys were starting their Christmas lists and I was curious just how good it is.

I also noticed on Best Buy today that there are some Infinity 3.0 Expansion Packs.  I think they are still pre-order, but one pack looked like it was a cart-style racing game that utilized the Infinity characters.

JD Sports Forum! / Who's Still Playing Sports?
« on: August 10, 2015, 09:40 PM »
I recently had the itch to get back into competitive sports after sitting on the sidelines and coaching my sons' teams for many years.  After high school and patella tendon replacement surgery, I couldn't really play high impact sports without the fear of injuring my knee again.  I played sand volleyball for many years (and had to have ACL replacement while playing) and 12" softball, but could never find a rec baseball team that I was able to compete on.  Baseball was always my favorite sport growing up and always wished I could have continued to play.

We moved to a different town about a year and a half ago and I caught wind of an over 40 baseball league.  I finally ended up catching a game this past weekend and think that with a bit of practice I could compete again.  So I'm wondering, is there anyone else out there that is still playing rec sports like baseball, basketball, hockey, etc. and are you able to compete and have fun?  Specifically I'm looking for any of my over 40 brethren's experiences, but I'd like to hear from everyone.  Thanks guys.

I made a custom Clone Wars Armor Obi-Wan too, but can't find the picture of him.

You mean this one?  I found it in the customs thread:

And thought I'd throw mine in there again for old time's sake:

In regards to my above question I seem to recall iamsith doing some customs back in the day, I'm not sure if anyone has any knowledge on dismantling or breaking apart kubricks.

Yes, I did several customs back in the day.  Most of the brick torsos are glued so you have to break them apart.  I would remove the arms and go in with a razor blade along the side.  Once the blade was in slightly I would start to rotate it until I could see the two pieces coming apart.  Stick the blade in further and then give it a good turn and it should split in two.  You may end up with a small hole where you first went in with the blade, but if you are adding robes or when you put the arms back on it shouldn't be too noticeable.  You may also need to superglue the torso back together when you're done so that it stays together.  Hope that helps.

The Sequel Trilogy / Re: The Force Awakens Trailers
« on: July 7, 2015, 07:57 AM »
I need to ask a simple question that I have not been able to find an answer to anywhere.  When Disney first announced the new trilogy, they specifically called them Episodes 7, 8 & 9.  However, since the name of the film has been released, I've never seen TFA referred to as Episode VII - The Force Awakens.  I know that when the OT was released, the posters and trailers never referred to the movies as Episodes (there was no Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back).  And the only place this showed up was in the initial crawl.  But when the Prequels came out, the 'Episode I' was more prevalent on the poster than either 'SW' or 'TPM'.  And it was always referred to as SW EPI TPM in the commercials, trailers, etc..  So the question is, are they consciously trying to avoid the utilization of Episode VII in all the discussion/advertising on purpose, or is this truly not going to be referred to as EP7?

I'd like to see them try to get something done for Vermette but I'm not going to hold my breath.

Thankfully I wasn't holding my breath as Vermette goes back to Arizona...  Okay, Saad, Richards, Vermette.  Who's next?

Oh and Chicago extended Anisomov so that makes that Saad trade look better already though I know the Hawks fans don't feel like it.

Honestly, we have relatively short memories because I remember the uproar after the first Cup and the players that were traded/let go.  Then after they won the second, I didn't hear anyone bitching about the fact that all those guys were gone.  As long as Anisomov turns out to be a productive player over the next 5 years of his contract, I don't think too many people will compare his numbers to Saad's over that same period.

Oh and just because we're keeping score, Richards is also gone to the Wings.
