So here's my list for ROTJ...

Lots of Honorable's at the end there, which shows this was really a hard choice for me.  In the end, I'm on a SA figure kick though so I'm wanting SA versions of the heroes and troopers because that's a must at this point after getting these great SA figures in the VOTC line.

Chewie's been done now too, so I'm game for Han, Luke and Leia having their figures.

1)  Super Articulated Han Solo with Trench Coat...  Either do it with a NICELY done softgoods coat (tough, but possible), or pull a 21st Century Toys maneuver, include two sets of SA arms (coat and shirt arm sets) that pop off and include a pliable sculpted coat.  21st just did a German in Trench Coat that way and it's flawless.  Of course a working holster is a must.

2) Super Articulated Luke Skywalker in Endor...  With a removable cloth (no sculpted) poncho and removable belt and helmet.  Include a saber that attaches to the belt as well, and if they'd be real creative, a removable "vest" piece too so it coudl double as an Endor surrender Luke.

3) Super Articulated Leia Endor...  With a removable cloth Poncho, removable belt, removable helmet, working holster w/blaster.  A great figure...

PS: On both Endor Leia and Luke, it'd be neat if they included the ball/socket hip like on VOTC Luke.  Make them better fits on a possibly resculpted Speeder bike down the road?

4) Super Articulated Endor Rebel Soldier...  Either the POTF2 style or the Saga style, but Super articulated with removable helmet, backpack, and a firm plastic rifle.  A cloth sachel with explosives would really rock too.  And of course, head variants.

5) Hermi Odle...  I want my Hermi Odle figure.

6) Super Articulated Biker Scout...  Without a DOUBT, this is a must have.  I'd like an ultra version with a NEWLY sculpted, properly scaled/detailed, Speeder bike.  Include ball/socket hips so he can mount the bike properly, and a clear stand for it to "hover" when you're displaying it.  Perfection in my book.

7) A-Wing Pilot...  A new, nicely articulated, removable helmet, A-Wing Pilot (Human).

8 ) Ewok Army Builder...  Teebo's entire sculpt reused, redecoed, and just give him a new "generic" hood, and pack him in with a spear, stone axe, and bow/quiver set.  Variants in fur pattern/color, and hood color, would be UBER welcome.  The ultimate Ewok Army Building figure.

9) Soft Goods Emperor Palpatine...  Poseable Palpatine capable of actually sitting on a throne, toilet, toilet throne, or in his lounge chair.

10) Super Articulated Emperor's Royal Guard...  ERG with full armor (EU) sculpting under the robes, cloth (red silk-ish) robes, and a pike.  Absolutely incredible figure for mucho Emperor defense!

HONORABLE MENTION:

-B-Wing Pilot...  Proper Color, Human, Removable helmet.
-Rebel as Biker Scout...  Removable helmet, use SA Scout body.
-New Dresellian Commando (sans Eyepatch)
-Rebel "Crewman" in the brown uniforms on Home One.
-Properly colored Y-Wing Pilot
-Moff Jerjerrod
-Super Articulated (reusing some parts of VOTC Vader even) Vader with removable helmet and hand...  New, ball/socket elbow arms a must though.
-Sgt. Doallynn (Skiff and Palace)
-Klaatu Palace
-Vintage Barada
-Vintage Nikto
-Romba
-Warok
-Lumat
-ALL NEW Wicket
-SA AT-ST Driver
-Chief Chirpa
-Poseable Gam. Guard
-Other Rancor Keeper (alien with beedy eyes consoling Malakili)
-White jumpsuited Takeel from Palace
-SA Throne Room Duel Luke

Yeah, lotta figures from ROTJ NEED done at this point.

I want that Army Builder Ewok more than the vinty's done though.

Either or would be great Beth.  I just wanna know what I'm looking for at this point because I'm lost, what with tons of repacks and confusion over what's new and what isn't...

Saw the SA Frodo/Aragorn, like I said, and would've just skipped them thinking they were just the other Frodo/Aragorns that clog the pegs.

I've wanted to redo the Hasbro Carbon Freeze Chamber too.  I wanted to just make a "snap on" piece that makes it bigger and more accurate looking.  It, to me, is actually a really nice playset.

The feature worked well, the concept was there...  It just wasn't a big enough playset to drive people in and buy it.  Overall I really liked that set though.  Kinda wish I'd gotten more of them when the FC store clearanced them.

Star Wars Action Figures / Re: Anyone Customize any Madines?
« on: November 9, 2004, 06:27 PM »
I've been wanting to put a Riekean head on a Captain Antilles body myself.  I've envisioned Riekean as just Dodonna's replacement at some point (for whatever reason), especially since the Hoth uniforms definitely echo sentiments of the Yavin uniforms and such.

The Home One generals I always have separated into a separate part of the military, and thus the uniform difference.  I clumped them into the Special Services branch of things...  With that in mind, I intend to make a Madine into a General Cracken (Intelligence CO), and maybe the two goofballs standing around with Madine then.  :)  Some Fan-Fic guys too.

I have a George Patton head I wanna cast some day and make him as a General, though more the "Fleet" uniform instead of Madine's.

Hmmm, pretty interesting Jeff, and nice scoop there.

I really am not sure what to think about these.  It's a side line, and one I doubt I get into as I just don't have the room.  If I am gonna have "models" of the ships around I think I want plastic kits.

These are sorta cool in a micro-Machines kinda way, but a lotta people would rather see Action Fleet with new life breathed into it than a die-cast line.  At least that's what I've always gotten the impression of.

Revenge of the Sith / Re: Anakin Mock Up
« on: November 9, 2004, 06:20 PM »
I'm not sure how good his lower body's articulation will be, but it looks like elbows, wrists, and ball/socket shoulders at least, which is something a bit more than any Anakin figure had in the E2 line it seems.

If his legs are NOT articulated except for the hip joints, I'll be a tad disappointed, but it's a good start nonetheless and superior (IMO) to every Anakin from E2 just because the arms are articulated to actually be posed fighting and such.

I lightened the picture and can't tell what is doing with the leg articulation though.

Just outta curiosity, is there SOMEWHERE I can go and find a complete list of LOTR figures released so far?

My brother's in school for his Dr., and he's busy busy of course, and I try keeping him updated on LOTR but I know now he's VERY behind.  I've never seen a Shelob for example (I'd like one for myself even) and he's behind all the nifty army builders once rumored, and the other Elf, etc., etc...

I just saw SA Arargorn and Frodo the other day he and I were out, and my brother got them, and I got him a Faramir in armor too, but those are the ONLY new figures he has gotten in what feels like a year.

NHL:  Pittsburgh Penguins
NFL:  Pittsburgh Steelers (Here we go Steelers, Here We Go!!!)

MLB:  Not even a sport (j/k, sorta, for you BB fans)
NBA:  Don't care for Basketball enough to ever pay attention to it.

NASCAR:  Mark Martin, Bill Elliot, etc.  Lots of drivers I like there.  Lots in other motorsports too actually, but Martin was my fav for years.

Beth, not that you need me to tell you, is a great person to do any deals with.

The Wookiee Arcade / Re: Episode III ~ The Video Game
« on: November 7, 2004, 03:29 AM »
With a somewhat strong showing for E2's premiere, I'd be more lenient on how the game may play out.  Bounty Hunter was such an awesome game, I had actually hoped for a BOunty Hunter II that was revolving around Boba's story now, just before ANH or something.

Either way, I think the game could be good...  I could see something like the LOTR action/adventure games...  They're simplistic in gameplay/style but fun and captured the feel of the films.  A Star Wars version is doable given the droves of droids that Jedi smash up in battle.  I could see it.

Madine as Imperial Officer...  Hellooooooo!?  :)

seriously though, I've not done any so far but stocked up on some Madines in the KM sale on Friday just for this purpose.

I believe there were 3 (Madine and 2 others) in the Home ONe briefing scene.  Can't be sure on that though, but I think it is three and they're pictured behind Madine on his OTC Card actually, if you look.

Original Trilogy Collection / Re: VOTC/OTC Purchases
« on: November 7, 2004, 03:23 AM »
Welp,

Today at the local get-together (at Bobafett14's house), I was able to score a VOTC R2 and 3PO from the infamous "Blue_Harvester", Dave.

He helped me pretty much clear up my VOTC wants other than Chewie who is supposedly in route to my house as we speak...

Beyond that now, I'll only need "extras" of certain VOTC...  Maybe one more Fett, another Chewie, and any Stormtrooper I can get ahold of that I feel I've got $10 to blow away on another Stormtrooper.

OTC I need the Gam Guard only really...  I could live without the Scanner tech, though if I saw one I'd maybe nab him just for the "variation" in him.

The Gam Guard's eluded me though.   :-\

Beyond that then, I'll need OTC Transition figures like the Cantina wave, the Naboo figures, and the Coruscant figures.  Then I'll be 100% set till (I guess) E3 product...  Unless there's surprise stuff coming.
