Nah, DeanPaul. It takes me so long because I have only been there a few times and we usually meet in a motel . . . .

Joke.

I know, but that's not what he said. TBD is a friend and I chose to lighten up this super serious thread at his expense.

And I thinkk you meant think. :)

Yeah, $24.35 with shipping is better then the $29.30 I paid to BBTS BUT I sure like BBTS and their customer service is far better then Wally. That and I know I'll get blasted for saying this I really don't mind paying the extra $5 and giving my business to someone other then Walmart.

No reason to blast you over that...  I'm not a WM fan myself given how their stores are usually a blight on any community they enter...  I can't stand going into them (generally...  There's one nice out of the way WM I hit often) most of the time and only do so out of necessity with this hobby.  Target's more my taste since I just find them to be more efficient and easier to navigate...  Equally pissy employees, but generally cleaner and less packed stores.

I wish Etailers were just more reliable and competitive or I'd go to them constantly I'm sure.

How do these sell in your area?

I'm curious because I would like to see these continue in '06 and would like to know if Hasbro can justify not continueing the line be claiming that the did not sell well.

Here in LA, CA, they are not impossible to get, but they constantly sell out in a few days. When I was in PA and NC, they were easier to find and certainly shelf warmed to a certain extent.

They hit and the grey ones are gone quickly right now. The sith and the yellow sit for several days and then are gone. I know a local grocery store chain got the yellow clones in and marked them at $18.99.  They sold 3 in 1 day and I'm sure the others age gone by now. I don't think Hasbro can claim (while they might) these did not do well. Guess the question is for the number they produced did it generate the profit that would justify continuing to make more.

Not sure if this happened to anyone else, but the plastic on the Clone pack is pretty brittle and I broke my second Clone this weekend at the joints on the arms.  They sure dont move easily.  So anyone posing these use some care.

I still haven't found one of the darn things! I've seen Ani Evolutions at KB like a month ago but didn't buy it. It's the only one I've seen so far.

I've seen barely anything of them either Darth_Nirvana...

Out in Greensburg I ran into the Clones at TRU...  I think I saw one Clone set then at Target at a later date but that was it.  I never saw Sith, and never saw Anakin.  I had to rely on friends online and within the local Pittsburgh collecting group to pick those up for me.  :(

It really sucks that the best stuff Hasbro makes is the stuff you can't ever seem to find.  Shocktroopers are a case in point.  Non-existant out here unless you JUSt happened to be there at the right time...  That's it.  And once they shipped and are were gone, they were gone...  no more it seemed.

I found three shocktroopers, they weren't a problem for me. It's the Evolutions...I saw the same Ani set for 2 weeks at KB, and saw the Sith once at WalMart, and I thought, stupidly, "I don't need to buy them now, they'll keep coming in!"

Wrong.

I haven't seen any yet. Just empty shelf space.
