Post by: Sith Bounty Hunter on June 15, 2003, 08:21 PM
I took a closer look at the Dooku Sith Lord and it had a green lightsaber. If anyones knows why it has one please reply. My theroy was since Dooku was a jedi they put a green saber in there.

In some early production photo from AOTC, Count Dooku is pictured with both his red lightsaber, and a green lightsaber.

Also in a deleted scene of AOTC Dooku took Anakin's (not his since he lost his on the coverory belt so had to barrow one from some sap jedi who propbally died in the arena thanks to him having to give his lightsaber to Anakin) saber after he cuts off Anakin's arm to fight Yoda with two sabers.  Hasbro saw this scene/pictures before the movie was edited and ended up putting the extra saber in the April 24 Dooku.  Same explantion for the Massiffs and Genosian Warriors, the came from a cut scene.

And all this time I thought the green saber was inserted to complete the ever so festive green and red Christmas feel, incase the Dooku figure was a holiday gift.

Wonders never cease.

I agree with the deleted scene thingy...there was supposed to be a longer duel to which Dooku used Anakin's green saber that he double dueled with
