This reminds me of a pic I saw a month back.  It was of a guy in a Biker Scout outfit.  The person was like 5' 5" and weighed 250 lbs.  Just wrong man.  Some things just dont look right.  If anyone has seen the pic please post.  Funny stuff.

Thanks for the link Mikey, some funny stuff there.  I've never been in to that part of the hobby at all, its cool and all and people can do what they want to do, I just would never openly declare my geekdom in such a way I guess.

Don't get me wrong, some of the costumes are pretty good.  Most of them suck.  I'm like Scott.  I know how much of a geek I am, everyone doesn't need to know.

There is absoulutely no way you can't find this thread funny. The guy who subtitled the pictures hit  perfectly. I'm not a dork ;I have a geek tendency. These people who dress up are just  pathetic. I can understand kids dressing up,  I can understand dressing up at halloween, but for no reason should an adult male or female dress up in a Star wars costume. It's a sad sad affair to see these guys trying to make fantasy reality.

I've met a number of people that collect who are just plain socially retarded and have no social skills whatsoever. The costumed ones usually fit this category.

for the record I have this posted over at GH this one gave me the open sore on my lip. I gave myself a vasectomy after I had the pleasure.

I think LJ needs to watch Spaceballs again.  It took me a second to figure out WTF that guy was supposed to be!

Now, I once made a Darth Vader costume, I even improvised a Darth Maul costume out of a bald wig, some black and red make-up and my bathrobe and I have a Jedi costume.  The ONLY time I've worn any of them, it was October 31st!
