So when do I get a Jack Tripper doll? They did Somers in the 70s.

I want that.

Other Toy Lines / Re: 2004: What Are You Collecting?
« on: May 2, 2004, 06:42 AM »
I don't collect anything, even Star Wars, 100%. I love monsters and aliens, and grab creepies that float my boat from all kinds of lines; some vintage. I don't only buy creatures, though, of course. Here are some of my favorite things:

Meegan (Silver Surfer line)
Krang (vintage TMNT)
Lurtz
Treebeard
12" Gimli
Adventure Kermit
Thundarr
Ookla the Mok
Modulok
Mantenna
Spider-Man (Classic)
Thing (ML)
Torch (ML)
12" Creature from the Black Lagoon (Hasbro)
12' Frankenstein (Sideshow)
Enemy Visitor ("V - The Mini-Series")
12" Cobra Commander
Imperious Leader (vintage Battlestar Galactica)
Ovion (vintage Battlestar Galactica)
Mayor McCheese (Remco McDonaldland) LOL
Big Mac (Remco McDonaldland)
Capt Crook (Remco McDonaldland)
Grimace (Remco McDonaldland)
Raphael (modern TMNT)
Kubrick Creature
E.T.
Mork from Ork (vintage Mattel)
Spidey (10" vinyl)
The Visitor (Stan Winston Creatures)
Suckerman (vintage Mattel suction cup monster toy)
Worm Aliens bendies (Men In Black)

The Creature is my first Kubrick. Never knew of Universal Monsters Kubes. Spotted him in a case at Wizard L.A., and nearly passed a stone. I love the Creature! Had to have him.

I wouldn't mind a few cantina aliens, Spidey and Bert & Ernie.

This is really an outstanding line. The Muppet figs look incredible. I'm not collecting the line, but I had to have Kermit when they came out. I also got Adventure Kemit, and man, he is one of the coolest figures of any line, ever.  :)

Wow, no wonder no ones posting. Looks like no one can, ha! I don't use NIS, and haven't had any probs. Except the slowness.

You know, all those trade feedback threads we have with links to all our feedback are gonna have to be edited with new URLs.......

That just goes to show you that you have to stick with rule #1 on this issue: NEVER SUPPLY ANY PERSONAL INFO IN E-MAILS LIKE THIS, WHETHER YOU PROCEED TO THE URL BY CLICKING, COPY/PASTE OR WHATEVER. Just type in the actual main page address to the site www.ebay.com, and go look through your own "My eBay" section for your supposedly cancelled bid (or whatever the case my may). E-mails asking for passwords, credit cards or any crucial info are ALWAYS SCAMS.

More phobias than I will care to admit... But the main one would have to be sharks.... Deathly afraid of them. The big ones.

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: Last Time You Threw Up
« on: March 4, 2004, 03:33 AM »
Last real gut-wrenching upchuck I had was over a year ago, when I had a particularly evil flu. I was on the crapper suffering through explosive diarrhea when, I kid you not, I erupted in vomitousness.

WTF are you gonna do when you're actively crapping and can't help but puke?

There's no escape. Since I couldn't quite reach the trash can, I had to retch all over the floor, my feet and my clothes while still exploding assward. Yay, flu!

Power of the Force 2 / Re: Opinions on Rebo Band and Rancor

I've haven't actually tried it yet, but an idea I've had on the joint issue is to wind some thread or fishing line around/into the joints. Jamming it in there would tighten it up. I wouldn't want to get it stuck in there and unable to come out, though.  Others will tell you to try super glue. Put some in, and move joint so it doesn't get stuck. Never tried that either, but I sure as hell won't either!

I have no memory at all of distrbution of these guys. Can't even recall if they were hard for me to find, or not...

Circumvent? You better check your settings. All I did was type the word. I was actually surprised because I thought you guys censored here...

EDIT: I just tried some choice words in a preview post. You guys have it set to catch dirty words if they're exact, but not variations. For example, if you had "crap" censored, "crapweasel" still gets through. You need to set it so it comes up "****weasel".

Newbies / Re: Hi

Ah, people love the name.

It's good for monkies and orcs and all kinds of big lugs. If I were a Wookiee, I'd be Ookbacca!

(...looks like I'm sleepy.)

Anyway, I stole the name off Ookla the Mok from Thundarr the Barbarian.
