I found this vintage y-wing star wars commerical on youtube. It shows the laser cannon moves left and right when the sound effect button is pressed. Does this really work this way? My vintage y-wing doen't do this. Maybe it's broken.

But does pressing the button turn the turret too?

Looks like it should.
Button-activated cannon sound and motion.
Activate top cannon turret motion & sound by pressing rar dark grey button.

Yes, pressing the button does make the turret swivel left-right and makes a "firing" noise, if you can call it that... ahh, that brought back some memories.

I haven't had any batteries in my Y-Wing for about 15 years, I'm going to have to go downstairs and
play test that. ;D

Dug mine out but I had to do a bit of cleaning, works like a charm.

Wow, I never knew that about the y-wing. I'll have to see if the electronics in mine still work.

Same here - you all have me inspired to check the electronics on mine. It's super clean, so I'm guessing it will work.

hi there. i am new here. i have 3 y-wings. 1 still in box the other 2 is loose and complete. when you press the fire button,it makes firing sound and the top gun moves from side to side.
