Title: Spectre's Swap Shop
Post by: Spectre on November 13, 2005, 12:52 AM: Due to lack of time to update inventory all over the net (trust me, it takes forever to update this thread on 10 different boards :( ), most branches of the "Swap Shop" have been closed. The last 3 branches are still open at the following locations:

I still have alot of great items, including a ton of Clones and Clone parts just added this evening, so stop by one of the 3 remaining branches and have a look around :D

Post by: Spectre on December 30, 2005, 01:12 AM: Added a bunch of complete figures from various lines as well as a Frag-Viper that amost looks like he just came off the card (joints are TIGHT, Cobra symbol is dead solid perfect, and the only paint wear is very slight and is on the right glove and the blue strap on his butt)!

Post by: Spectre on January 3, 2006, 01:16 PM: Found a dead-mint Transformers G1 Grimlock sword in my sword box today and added it to my Haves as it does not fit the design aesthetics of the Star Wars Universe. If any Transformers G1 collectors out there are missing this popular character's weapon, shoot me a trade offer and it's yours ;)

Post by: Spectre on January 15, 2006, 11:24 PM: Just added 2 minty-mint complete Kenner "Predator" action figures to my Haves. They are the original Predator from the Deluxe "Alien Vs Predator" 2pk and the blue "Warrior Predator" from KB's Exclusive "Hive Wars" line (and is a significant figure as it was originally to have been included in the cancelled 3rd wave of Predator toys from 1994 and is considered to be the finest Predator figure produced in the entire line). Both figures have all of their accessories (masks, spears, and in the case of the original Pred- his rifle) and are in tip top condition with tight joints :D

Post by: Spectre on January 18, 2006, 07:46 PM: Added some Star Wars accessories and an Army Of Darkness Series II shield to my haves.

Also added an EU Mara Jade cardback with an unpunched 3-D Playscene! The only damage to the card is minor creasing at the top back of the card just to the right of the j-hook (almost 2 inches above the playscene), and the area where the bubble sat on the front (outline of where bubble was glued to card) is marred from removing the bubble.

I added an original Crimson Guard v1 backpack to my Haves though.

Also, look for a BIG update to my Haves List tomorrow or Monday night!

Post by: Spectre on January 30, 2006, 11:12 PM: Added a bunch of cool stuff today including statues, a "Theatre Edition" Luke Skywalker figure from the release of the "Special Edition" of "Return Of The Jedi", and some salesman sample McFarlane "X-Files: Fight The Future" figures that I got a few months before their retail release from a McFarlane rep I met through Toy Fair years ago (I used to get lots 'o goodies from the different companies).

The salesman samples have dates on their feet so I don't think you can classify them as prototypes, but they're interesting none the less. The Mulder and Scully figures both come with a flashlight and cell phone while the production figures came with one or the other (Mulder had the flashlight and Scully had the cell) and the Aliens are the much harder to find original bright green w/yellow highlights color scheme that was phased out of the production line after the first run. The Flukeman was intended to be part of the second series where characters from the tv episodes would be added to the line. He's quite a bit taller than the other figures as he was never completely pantographed down to the scale of the rest of the line. He has dates on his feet indicating that it was intended for retail release and small numbers of them may actually have been released through McFarlane's Collector Club, but I'm not sure.

He got a bit dinged up in the move (paint chip on left shoulder pauldron, thin part on top of lightsaber handle broke off) but he displays just fine and can be made good as new with some gloss black paint :)

I REALLY NEED A McQuarrie Concept Stormtrooper pistol!- I just discovered that I lost mine in the move :( I never owned this figure until I got one in a trade this summer and now I've lost his gun :(

Also updated my Wants with a few oddball Misc. Wants for an upcoming project.

Look for a large amount of new inventory to be added next week after I finally finish setting up my Hobby Room :D

Post by: Spectre on April 7, 2006, 12:51 PM: Added some new inventory today including 2 carded "Ultimate Galactic Hunt" figures (AT-AT Driver and Commander Cody). Both have some slight damage to their packaging. The AT-AT Driver has small ding on top of bubble and Cody has a similar bubble ding and a crease along the bottom of the cardback (pics will be posted this evening after I get home from work). The funny thing is that is the condition they were in when I pulled them from the sealed case at TRU this morning, the regular figures in the case were mint (different conveyor belt feeding "UGH" into cases maybe?)!

1) Star Wars Vintage (1978-1985) Nikto action figure- nice condition but has some extraneous paint marks on the arms that need to be removed.

2) several varieties of Clonetrooper helmeted heads (including Scorch and some ROTS variants!) as well as a pair of Royal Guard (blue) heads.

3) a handfull of those clear heads InToys used in their S.W.A.T. packaging under the cloth baclavas.

Free Comic Book "Stargate SG1" Jack O'Neil still in the headercard baggie but no accessories (accessories removed through small unobtrusive incision in side of bottom of bag- needed accessories for a custom)

I also updated my wants as I really need one of those Target Exclusive BBI/Elite Force HIND Helicopters! They appeared and were discontinued in the same week here in Jersey and the one time I saw them I had no cash :( I want one to make the flying ambulance from the episode of "Firefly" where the crew of Serenity had to break into the hospital so Simon could scan River's brain.

ROTS Target Exclusive "Neyo" Clonetrooper- has both weapons and is something of a internet celebrity as he's been one of the stars of all of my Marauder, Inc. and Good To Go Customs reviews! I'd really like to get a "Skirmish In The Senate" Senate Pod in trade for him but no reasonable offer will be refused :)

10 Clonetrooper DC-15 blaster carbines (the shorter of the 2 standard Clone weapons).

tons of Chap Mei accessories

2 "The Corps!" Shark (SEAL) figures

and 3 working seige weapons with 2 projectiles each from Mega Bloks' "Mag Warriors" line.
