Okay what films did you think were being set up for sequels but never happened or that you wished had a spinoff?
As cheesy as it seems I was always waiting for a Point Break sequel. Its got the perfect setup that could go either way. In the back of my mind I always thought Bodie survived that big wave at the end and was going to resurface a few years later. Maybe once Keanu Reeves career hits the can it may happen.

i was gonna say, in this day and age, you can't count any movie out of the sequel race. or prequel race, for that matter.
but to answer your question, i'm still hoping for a sequel to army of darkness. and of course, indiana jones 4, which i just think is never gonna happen. but i'd love to see it.

I forgot about Army of Darkness. Didnt Bruce Cambell recently mention that Raimi was interested in resurrecting that story? Also, I couldnt agree more that Indiana 4 aint gonna happen.

I have heard rumors about Evil dead 4. As long as Raimi is doing it, Bruce is in, if not... :-
Raimi is busy with Spiderman 3 so it may not fly!

i've heard that too, but bruce says he'll only do that if ash ends up winning in the end. which i don't see happening, since i don't think anybody will be too happy letting their horror property "cash cows" so to speak in jason and freddy both get their asses kicked and lose in the film. :-\

I forgot all about this flick. I remember seeing it on many countless airings on HBO back in the day. Will have to check it out again soon. I thought it was pretty good. Funny too.
Total Recall could of made a good sequel if done right. Phillip Dick written movies never seemed to be answered IMO and were left for you to come to your own conclusion.

How about the Doctor Detroit sequel? Whether or not it was a joke on Ackroyd's part or not, I would have gone to see "The Wrath of Mom"!
And how about the sequel for "Doc Savage: Man of Bronze" that never materialized. I love this film...it has the camp factor that made it fun, yet it almost seemed like you were watching a serial from the 40s.

Doc Savage ruled, it's a great flick. Dale goes looking for his VHS copy...must watch again & again!

The Last Starfighter.
American History X- it finished really quick , i'd love to see Edward Nortons charachter go down the dark path again or how he deals with his brothers death.
Aliens- now i know that some people consider 3 and ressurection sequals but as far as i'm concerned they never happened, dammit Hicks was supposed to live and the aliens infect earth. Then all hell breaks loose. Oh yeah and bring back Cameron to direct it.
Osmosis Jones - that was funny i want more osmosis!!

Unbreakable needs a sequel. It's an excellent movie, but it feels like it only scratched the surface.
