Title: New group project started at RS
Post by: Phrubruh on June 9, 2005, 12:24 AM
With respect to Chewie's Customizing Challange, I've decided to start the 7th group project over at RS. This one has two figures to choose from. A Mon Calamari dancer and Female protocol droid. We will have two months to finish one or the other or both. This should give us time to do both Chewie's CC and the RS GP. Over the next two months, I'm doing both the smuggler/sith and the dancer/fembot. Feel free to join us. The Group Project pictures will be archived over at FFURG.

Anyway, the link to the thread is here: Group Project #7 (http://threads.rebelscum.com/showflat.php?Cat=&Number=1224981&page=0&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=&fpart=1#1224981)

You can do them here if you want. Here are the reference pictures.

I was thinking last night that the Animated Clone Trooper's legs might work well for a Fem Bot.

Don, glad to see you made it here.   :)

That is a great reference pic... Phruby, don't you have a WIP of her floating around somewhere?

I need to start on mine, but I don't think I will be able to until mid July.

The female protocol droid isn't that hard to paint. Just paint it completely silver then use glass paint over the silver. The glass paint will let the silver shine thru. Then  use the glass paint gloss/sealer to make it really shiny.

Go check my work in progress pictures over at RS.

thanks MP, I may just go searching for some of them paints.  I have a body that I think would look awesome, but I am a little hesitant since its one of my favorite toys on display.  I'll go check that out.
