I just picked up this horror/comedy classic at Best Buy:

I've put off buying it for years but with this edition I just caved...

Same here - I also picked up Curse of the Golden Flower.

I passed (for now) on Shutter, and on Ultimate Versus - the old cut will have to do for awhile.

Picked up Childern of Men today. My favotate film from last year.

Does the movie get better after the first half hour?  I'm up to the part where Clive finds out that 'you know who' is 'you know what'.

An interesting tid bit for the 25th Anniversary release of Blade Runner.

Cassidy Reshoots "Blade Runner"

From Joanna Cassidy's site.

Quote
Joanna has just finished re-shooting her scenes from the original BLADE RUNNER movie.  Joanna is wearing her original outfit (which she kept over from the first production).  These new scenes will be part of the upcoming special BLADE RUNNER DVD re-release.

TV DVD Sets
I was curious how many of you buy TV DVD sets, and what helps you to decide which to purchase?  We have a fair amount of TV on DVD sets, picking up many of our favorite shows, but I'm starting to find that the majority of them sit on the shelf without being watched much.  We do get good use out of the comedy ones, and watch them during our lunch break or on weekends, etc. - such as The Office, Scrubs, Arrested Development, Simpsons, etc.  Some of the other sets we've picked up, don't end up getting watched much - at least right now.  I keep thinking that "someday we'll want to see these".  Do any of you have this happen with TV DVD sets that you pick up - or do you just avoid picking them up?
