I totally cleaned up on loose figures, for between $1 and $5 apiece. It was glorious--I saw multiples of figures I've wanted for years. For example, I'd been looking for a loose Prince Xizor for ages, and at CIII I saw at least a dozen. Oddly, most were missing his cloak, and I only found one that had the blue energy shield things. I bought that one and one missing the cloak.

a battledroid that comes in half with a magnetic connection at the waist. The dealer had a whole bin of these for $1. Back in the hotel room I tried him out and was very impressed with both the magnet and the fact that he actually stands up. I went back to the dealer for more but apparently someone else had the same idea since they were all gone. :(

I'm sure there's a few more items that I forgot. As you can see, I didn't pick up any high-end or particularly rare items, but I wasn't planning to do so and I'm very pleased with what I got.

The Hard Rock pin is limited to only 300 sold in 23 min. AT the Hard Rock.
The Titanium gold X-wing has "Indianapolis 2005" on each side of it (I heard 100 made, then I heard 250 later in the day???)
My Stormtrooper pin was #30 of 300 (numbered on the back lower right corner.

4 Vaders, 1 Plush Yoda (love that thing) and a MR FX Saber (E3 Anakin).
That was about it... not counting free ****. I did get 2 C3 posters too though.
Like the saber a lot, and Yoda. Vader grew on me as a cooler toy than I thought with the base and all.
I'm glad to have this stuff... The Yoda just is really neat considering everything.
My favorite purchase though is 3 signed McQuarrie Concept Art prints. 1 from each film, and each are either iconic ones (in my view) or ones that meant something to me.
The ANH one I got was the duel in the streets of Mos Eisley. Love that shot, and I think it's a very popular image with fans of McQuarrie's work.
The ESB one was the rebel soldiers wounded or dead in the trench with the AT-AT walking over the trench and the Snowspeeder smoking as it flies along. The picture's important to me since I have such a military-focus with this hobby. It's one of the gritty, realistic war images of the trilogy.
The ROTJ one I got is the conceptual drawing of the B-Wings flying away from the exploding destroyer they strafed. Very nice picture, very iconic, and again a devastating picture of the "War" in Star Wars. The shot being one edited out (all 3 are actually filmed in one way or another, and edited out) is pretty neat too.

Well, me and P'Dubbs found these 4 cases, against the wall all alone, unguarded. So we went over and started raiding the opened on, and getting what we wanted. Then a mess of people showed up, and it became a cluster**** of grabbing for toys, and I wound up with what I had. The 501st just kinda looked the other way for us. I took pics of the chaos. Expect them up later this week.

Yeah, I had to hide my stuff too, we left the hotel room, came back, and our blankets and bags were all over the place. Nothing was missing, we were just paranoid after. Maybe Matt heard I had more promo stuff than he did?

I'm curious to know what hotel keys everyone got. I have two of the one with Vader and his cape flowing out behind him (like batman). What did others get? Mine were from the Marriott.
I went nuts on the pins from Pin USA but haven't unpacked "that" bag yet, I know my mini saber is in it but I can't remember what else.

That's the one I got too, over at the Courtyard by Marriott. No extras though. They were actually selling them at the front desk too, for $5 a pop.

Tom, they only gave out one per room. I got the one, since I went through the freaking nightmare of registering the thing through the Gen Con and Official site.
Did you have any roommates? If so, one of them might've gotten it. If not, did you actually register through the Official site and all that jazz? If so, then I'd just contact them and say they didn't give you **** for a cool SW room key...

I got the coasters, the water bottle, an the blue CW style tshirt... they didn't have it in my size, so I got the size above and it's too big- so I figure it's now a C3 nightshirt... :( I wanted a tshirt though...
as far as other loot- I got some more promo glasses- adding to ones I have from childhood... I only need two more to complete my collection...

Matt, did you notice that the Courtyard starting selling those room keys for 5 bucks apiece on Saturday? I got one, so I didn't buy them, but they sold out apparently.

Ended up getting the ROTS theatre poster, hotel key thing, and 4 autographs - Jango, Mothma, Fisto, and Zam. Lots of free stuff. I almost got a Saga 12 inch (5 inch?) Yoda from Brian's Toys but did not. I waited to long to get the movie souvenir magazine/program. My fault there. Oh yeah, convention food that did not agree with me later on that night. My friend just got me a C3 Vader the other day. I am going to count it with my little haul.

I also got a cold/flu, which I'm still at home feeling AWFUL with... It's so bad today I think I'm going to have to hit the couch instead of being online! yikes!

I just had a problem digesting the con food later Friday night on our drive home. Had to stop a couple times to get rid of it as it moved south. I was not good all day Saturday at home. My wife's parents came down to visit and help us pack. I did that but I could not go out for pizza with them. I barely ate anything that day. Sunday I was fine though.
I assume it was the food - lunch was their Grilled Chicken and fries. Supper was their hamburger and also fries. Oh well at least there was not upchucking :)

But I guess 3 nights of heavy drinking and 5 nights of about 3.5 hours of sleep on average, mixed with the rain, snow, and freezing temperatures, will do that to a person, eh? :P

Yeah, they sold about 100 of them, apparently, and were for charity. What charity, I have no idea. I asked if they had all four styles, thinking I'd buy them if I could get a complete set in one shot, but they only had one.

I got a ******* Pizza Hut room card. But I'm not bitter. Really.
Anyway, I tracked down about 20 carded figures to fill in holes in my various collections, including the C2 Jorg Sacul. I also grabbed some Force Battlers and Galactic Heroes at Target/Wal-Mart - I love shopping in the big city! ;)
I had to buy a Rubbermaid tub just to get all of it home!

The vintage sales at the Omni was posted at RS in the vinty section. This is the place were most of the vinty guys stay, I was there on Thursday night and picked up some Polish bootlegs and a Lily Ledy Han Trench Coat. I didn't make it Friday night but I heard it was a good time. It was great meeting the gang there but I missed out meeting others. :'(

It was posted, but I've met a lot of the vintage guys in years past. Thurs. A couple of the guys asked me if I was going. Bill Cable and I do a ton of stuff with the PSWCS every year, and I've met guys like Todd Chamberlain, and some of the vintage guys through the years. They had a big cardback sale last year that was HUGE. I try to buy a few neat pieces every now and then.

Very nice 4-up. 8) Todd had a few there and I missed out on going Friday night so no doubt I missed out on a few things. The R2 coin hardcopy the coin die were awesome.
Lots of nice stuff that I saw, prototypes, proofs (not like the blow out that I heard about :o ), cromalin's, diplays bells, loose and carded figures... so much.

The R2 dies were sitting on the box with the hardcopy, I went to pick up the die box and man that sucker is heavy. When I opened the die box, my jaw hit the floor. Sweet eye candy. 8)

I just received my stuff that I mailed myself out of the UPS store in Indy. Everything was in there inculding a box that isn't mine. ANyone else use the UPS store and get an extra stuff inculded with your stuff. I guess I need to try and contact them and see what they can do but I doubt there's much.
