I wanted to post and say hi to everyone.  Just joined, I found this site through another one I read.  Have been looking through the posts and looks like a fun place to visit.

I'm a gal, in my 30s, have been collecting Star Wars since 1977.  Favorite characters are Darth Vader, Han Solo and R2-D2.

My collection focuses mainly on Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker and R2-D2.  But if I see other things that catch my eye, I tend to pick them up too.

As one SW gal to another, welcome.  This is a fun place to hang out -- everyone here is pretty great (for the most part ;))  Do you have a real name we can call you?  It's nice to have another girl around here :)

Hey Kathy!  Welcome to the party.  Glad to have you stop on by JD here, as we can always use some more ladies around to keep us fellas in line...  ;)

Good to have another "old-schooler" as well, and I mean that in the most respectful possible way.  :D  I'm sure you'll fit right in, since most of us around here are 30-somethings.  Except for our resident Canadians, who are mostly MUCH older.

Looks like you picked a couple character focuses there to seriously keep your collecting habits busy throughout both trilogies.  Good stuff!  So enjoy the site, and give us a holler if you have any questions, comments, or suggestions about the place.  We're here to serve.  Looking forward to chatting with you around the boards here...

Welcome Kathy! I hope you enjoy your stay here at JD! It's always good to see some females around these parts. Don't hesistate to ask any questions, I think you will find that 99.9% of the members here are really nice and always willing to help out. :)

Welcome Kathy, my nephew would probably love your collection....he's 4 and thinks Darth Vader is the coolest!   :D
