Title: Which Basic Clone Design Do You Prefer - AOTC or ROTS?

I know that there are helmet/armor variations (Galactic Marines, BARCs, Airborne, etc.), and the whole "colors gone wild" thing in ROTS, but as far as the basic clonetrooper designs go, which did you like better?  The Fett-esque helmeted AOTC clones, or the Revenge of the Sith versions?

I like them both, although I admit when ROTS first came out I liked the ROTS versions better because they looked "closer" to the OT troops.  But, the color schemes seemed to get a bit out of hand with the troops in that movie and later toy releases - some made sense, some don't.  If we were talking about the plain white clones though, I do like the "OT influence" of the ROTS helmets (or Version 2) clones.  Anyways, which clonetroopers do you like the best?

AOTC. i dont know why it just has a nicer look to it. reminds me more of a mando..but then again this is the point

This is a toughie. I think ROTS by far, but the only reason it was a hard decision is because Hasbros lately been giving us nothing but ROTS clone repaints and Im getting tired of seeing it.

AOTC

The ROTS design is just a "split the difference" morph between the AOTC and OT designs. Plus the "rainbow clones" overload in both ROTS and the toys kind of soured me on the armor design by extension.

AOTC I have more of an affinity for. Maybe because they were good guys, maybe the mando but for some reason I just like the better. The simplistic color pallet is nice too. ROTS clones were given too much personality with the overload of colors and commanders. Don't get me wrong I still like the EP3 design.

AOTC and I think it's because the CW figure version blew me away, and then we got #6.

Essentially we're talking about the Helmet here (various paint schemes aside).

So for that, my vote goes for AOTC. The harder, sharper angles make it seem more menacing to me. Also when I first saw it I immediately thought it was a cross between Boba Fett's helmet and a "Cylon" from the original Battlestar Galactica. I thought that was kind of cool.

AOTC.

Just for the little crest on the helmet that makes them look like spacemen from a B-film or a hood ornament from a 1930s Buick.

Definitely AOTC.  There is something about the E3 trooper that I just don't like.  Plus I love the CW ARCs.

Rots clone are more evolved than AOTC, but both showed good CGI job
