No new SW Kubricks at Medicom this month, it will probably be a few months before we hear about Series 4

Has anyone else heard the rumblings of a secret Jango Fett 'brick being handed out at a Medicom Party in Japan?

I heard it was limited to 50 pieces, no word on packaging yet.   :-\

Or how about the early rumblings that SW Series 4 will be RotS related?   :-\

Vader
Emperor
Obi-Wan
Alien
Clone Trooper
Padme

Anyone else heard this?  I'm hoping this is just rumoring and such.  Hopefully there will be a separate line if they decide to do RotS Kubricks so that Series 4 can be RotJ related!

Nice goss. I haven't heard anything like that, but if Medicom want to cash in on the RotS hype, that would be the line up I would imagine they would have.

I never heard about this secret Jango Fett. Limited to 50 pieces would make it over $1000. to get!  ::)

Yuo don't think they'd at least try and squeeze a Greivous in there too?

I've long dreaded the day Medicom turns towards the Prequels, but I fully suspect it'll happen eventually.  Pretty sure that when they finally do, I won't be taking part - unless they're figures like Vader, Chewie, or R2 that "go both ways"...   :P

Yikes, the carded Sandtrooper is still commanding big $$$. This is the latest one that was on the auction block.

Black Sandtrooper

I woudn't be surprised if Medicom did a Prequel series. Oh yeah, Greivous would just rock!  8)

I wouldn't mind prequel stuff but I hope it doesnt come for a while. I'd rather see them keep the original stuff going as they have been doing and continue with the Droids for the carded figures.

Ugh....I really hope this is indeed a rumor.  It would be really out of place to all of a sudden switch to the new trilogy.  There are soooo many more cool figures to do in the OT, that I wouldn't think it would even be on the plate yet.

Long time lurker, first time poster here.  Big Star Wars Kubrick fan!

Anyhow, does anyone know what size the TRU set will be?

I'm ordering some of Oscars cases now for my Early Bird & Speederbike set & would like to order one for the TRU set now as well.

Welcome!  I am not sure if anyone knows for certain, it might be best to wait till you have this in hand to make certain that Oscar builds a case with the right dimmensions.

Regards,

DBK

Hi artooa6, Welcome to JD.  :)

I'm guessing the TRU set is the same size as the Speeder Bike set but like DBK mentioned, it maybe best to wait just incase. Better safe than sorry.
