Just put the finishing touches on this one; everything is styrofoam coated in plaster of paris and spray-painted/weathered. The Sy Snootles is a custom upgrade of the vintage figure. Hope you guys like it!

AWSUME JOB. I LOVE IT. IT LOOKS LIKE IT CAME RIGHT FROM THE SET OF ROTJ. GREAT JOB ON THE UPGRADE OF SY TOO. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. NOW I WANT ONE

Wow you are truly a master, but where's the little frog guy and that drummer guy from TAC W4? Just kidding I know you're an OT purist. Do you have a making of somewhere on the web?
I've got a couple pieces of styrofoam that I'd like to use as my own EU diorama's, and I've been wondering how you do it with the plaster of paris.
I'd like the "walls" to be flat and wasn't sure if it'd be easier to use decals or maybe plastispray, I think that's what it's called, to fill in the gaps in the styrofoam.

That looks great Daigo-bah (as we've come to expect!). Any chance of some better lighting so we can see the details a bit more ::)
-
Very cool. I like the addition of the little wind chines next to Amamaman. The chains in the corner are nice touches.
-
Are you making the whole pallace one piece at a time?
-
Thanks a lot fellas- I'll definitely get some brighter pics up once I can get some sun in the windows! (My lighting in that room is very poor, and it has been overcast lately). Each Palace scene is really just for that iconic moment rather than to be fit together, and so I still have to make a proper throne room to go with the dais I made:

Impressive work! How long did it take you to put that together?
-
I like the animal skin carpet. I reminds me of the 12" version. You got to repaint that jabba though. It ruins the dias.
-
Hope you like it, he says.... Daigo-Bah, your Jabba Palace series is nothing short of amazing. Like Brent, I'd like to see some brighter pics too, so here's hoping for sunnier days. But nevertheless, your work looks superb! Very neat work on finishing the walls and floor and the little details are to be noted!
Is that your insanely awesome Han in carbonite scenery in the background?!

Thanks, and I did- here is a not-too-clear shot of him after repainting:

And here is a clear pic of the Sy custom upgrade:

I know I've already given Kudos over at Scum for this, but you can never have to much for top quality work. Kudos!

Haha, thanks DA, I just came over from there too! I have 2 new pics that showcase the replaced photo background that I printed on photo paper, to replace the old one that was on label paper. As you can see, the image is so much more vibrant and clear, and without the vertical lines.
