Here are some opened pics.

I must say I was a little dissappointed in Leia.  Her outfit is just like a piece of paper.  Still very happy with everything.  Still waiting on my series 1 set to get here.   :)

Any word on if the stands (included in the T3 sets) will be sold as is, without the cases? I'm assuming that's all they are, the bottom of the cases, without the covering. If I could get those for cheap, I'd definately go for them. That's the big reason I havent started displaying mine yet, no pegs...

I have not heard anything about that yet, but I would like to see just the stands on sale as well.  Those cases are just a little too pricey, I would assume the stands would just be a fraction of the cost hopefully.  I'm probably going to purchase at least 8 of the individual cases for chase figs, but I would like to keep the rest diplayed as is or with the stands.  Also Founder from Kubrickworld.com just got a new display case for his Kubrick's.

For $99.00, I might just have to get me one too.  They have a store in Schaumburg, IL and I only live three hours away from there.  Here is a pic of Founder's.

Wow, very cool looking display! I like it! :)

I think I may begin a quest to figure out the size of the pegholes on Kubrick feet. Perhaps an Ultrama would fit them, or perhaps I can find styrene and make my own...

IKEA is opening a store here and I want to pick up one of those bad boys, its called a Bertby shelf and I've seen a bunch of people use them with regular figs

I have mine in one of my wall mounted plexiglass cases...I think it looks sweet plus I have plenty of room for more!

Good stuff Padawan!  My buddy Jared's got a few of those Ikea cases, but uses them to display the 4" line of figures instead...  Basically anything that's made for CDs will be pretty perfect for figures.  I've seen those cases at our local Ikeas around here, but they're just a little too narrow for me - but they definitely look nice though.

So here's a question - I think this weekend is the big Japanese Toy Show where they'll be giving out 500 of the Droids R2s.  Do you think Medicom will use this show to finally announce what Series 3 is going to consist of?  I sure hope so, 'cause Simon and his cohorts are doing a very poor job of busting into Medicom's headquarters to figure it out themselves, as promised...   ::)

Steve quoted "i jus' had 'n' run in with a deadly Medicooom Directa. Couldn't wring diddly squat out of him mate. As stuborn as a mallee bull bein' led led to meat pie factory for some choppy choppy. Bloody awesome stuff it was"

For all of you who don't speak Australian, I happen to know a little and I'll try and translate as best I can.

Steve said he approached a Medicom Director about Series 3 but he wouldn't tell him a thing. He thought the guy was hard to get information out of but he had a good time talking to him.

No luck boys and girls.

Padawan those T3 sets sure are cool, I haven't seen them before. Ooh the R2 cardback looks great! I'm still not interested in getting one though (like I could get one anyway :-\). Thanks for the pics guys.

Looking more at the card, I'm guessing they might come out with a Droids C-3PO. Whos the silver robot dude in the background?

Maybe C3PO will be a Series 3 figure, with a Droids C3PO as a chase figure :)
